No Story Here? People like Christopher Doyle, who overcame the pull of homosexuality, are often blacked out by the liberal media, who have become cheerleaders for all things “gay” and “trans.” Doyle, who is now happy in a natural married with children, founded Voice of the Voiceless, which, like PFOX, defends the rights of former homosexuals.

ALEXANDRIA, Va. – “President Trump has an excellent opportunity to ‘make America great again’ by making all families proud again,” said Parents and Friends of Ex-Gays and Gays (PFOX) Executive Director Regina Griggs.

“PFOX extends a warm welcome to new President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence, and wishes them many blessings as they begin a new era. As a group that serves families dealing with loved ones who are caught up in homosexuality, transgenderism and other temptations, we at PFOX are hopeful that the new administration will be open to hearing the accounts of people who have been systematically denied acknowledgement of their existence – ex-gays and ex-transgenders.

“For too long, the iron grip of political correctness and media bias have kept the truth from the American people – that many people have overcome unwanted [same-sex] desires and gone on to lead fuller, happier lives.

“There is a concerted, profoundly unAmerican campaign to criminalize counseling aimed at helping people with their desire to change. At PFOX, we believe in unconditional love, and also client self-determination and the freedom of therapists to provide counseling that does not violate their beliefs. Unfortunately, progressive activists are attempting to criminalize the simple act of seeking help – and assisting – with unwanted same-sex desires.

“Many ex-gays once wrongly believed that they were born gay and had no hope for change. But through faith experiences and counseling, they discovered that overcoming unwanted same sex attraction is possible and science has proven homosexuality is not genetic. Now, they deserve to have their stories told, and their struggle for dignity and freedom respected from the Oval Office on down.”
