VIDEO: AFTAH Press Conference at HRC against ‘Gay Pride’: Linda Harvey on Gay Youth Propaganda and Diane Gramley on Gay Health Risks

Thursday, June 6th, 2013

The following is Part Two of America’s Survival’s coverage of our press conference Tuesday, June 4, 2013, in front of the D.C. headquarters of Human Rights Campaign, the world’s largest and most powerful homosexual activist lobby organization. Speaking first is Linda Harvey, founder and president of Mission America, discussing the homosexualist agenda and youth. She is followed by Diane Gramley, president of American Family Association of Pennsylvania, who discusses homosexual-related health risks. The text of both Harvey’s and Gramley’s speeches follow the video, after the jump:

Text of speech by Linda Harvey:

Remarks by Linda Harvey, President, Mission America, www.missionamerica.com , June 4, 2013

Press conference at Human Rights Campaign, Washington, DC:

Is homosexuality a human right? No, it’s not. This sexual preference is not intrinsic to human beings, is far from positive conduct for any person and certainly not for children, but the organization in the building behind me believes it is. And they intend to keep using smoke and mirrors to prevent America from a careful analysis, from a respectful debate, about what they are demanding.

Starting with its deceptive name, the Human Rights Campaign is spreading sweeping lies throughout America. And they are, of course, not alone.  From the misnomer of “gay pride” as deviant displays in our major cities, to the ungodly idea of two men or two women as marriage, HRC joins other untrustworthy groups to arm-twist and bully our country into embracing high-risk immorality, behavior that no one ever needs to do in the first place. People aren’t born homosexual, so objecting to this conduct is not a violation of anyone’s “rights.”

But how does HRC deal with challenges? By “agreeing to disagree”? By welcoming a reasonable debate? No, if you disagree, you become the target of smear campaigns, where truth is noticeably absent. If you stand up for man/woman marriage, HRC calls you a hateful bigot.

LaBarbera Calls on Conservative Philanthropists and Businesses like Chick-fil-A to Pledge to Boy Scouts to Make Up for Any Lost Donations from Pro-Homosexual Corporations

Tuesday, May 21st, 2013
Conservative and Christian companies like Chick-fil-A could win the support and loyalty of countless millions of Americans by offering to the Boy Scouts of America to make up for any lost donations from pro-homosexual corporations like UPS, which cut its gifts to the Scouts.

Conservative and Christian companies like Chick-fil-A could win the support and loyalty of countless millions of American consumers by offering to the Boy Scouts of America to make up for any lost donations from pro-homosexual corporations like UPS. Last year, UPS cut its gifts to the Scouts, ironically in the name of pro-homosexual “nondiscrimination.”

Peter LaBarbera, president of Americans For Truth About Homosexuality (AFTAH), issued the following statement regarding the Boy Scouts of America’s (BSA) vote this week on allowing openly homosexual members:

“Americans For Truth calls on Christian and conservative philanthropists and patriotic corporations to step up to the plate and publicly pledge to the Boy Scouts to make up financially for any losses in donations the BSA would face by maintaining its existing ‘Morally Straight’ policy.

“Homosexual activists pressured major corporations like UPS to stop giving to the Scouts – ironically, in the name of ‘nondiscrimination.’ This caused BSA leaders to panic and start abandoning their common-sense policy prohibiting openly homosexual Scouts.

“It’s time to end the financial tyranny of morally-compromised corporate liberals. We call on conservatives who have been blessed financially by God to put their money to good use — by neutralizing the Left’s ‘corporate blackmail’ against the beleaguered Scouts.

“The BSA must be saved in spite of its own politically correct leadership. The Scouts are under pressure from large corporate donors and CEOs on their leadership team who themselves have capitulated to the Homosexual Lobby. On Thursday — after national outrage delayed the BSA’s potential pro-homosexual sellout — local Scout Councils from across America will meet in Texas to vote on a ‘compromise’ BSA proposal that would allow openly homosexual Boy Scouts. [See Eagle Scout John Stemberger’s open letter to the BSA delegates urging a “NO” vote.]

“This issue is much bigger than the Scouts. America’s moral foundations are crumbling under the weight of well-financed ‘gay’ pressure groups and a popular culture that displaces ‘reverence’ for God (to quote the Scout Law) with anarchic hedonism. Our boys are vulnerable to well-marketed LGBT cultural advocacy that redefines sexual immorality and deviancy as a ‘civil right.’

“Anyone with a moral backbone understands the dangerous folly of a supposed ‘Morally Straight’ boys organization admitting members who embrace a sexual perversion disproportionately linked to HIV and other sexually-transmitted diseases. This is one Pandora’s Box the Scouts must not open.

“Where are the conservative heroes or Christian companies like Chick-fil-A or who will put their money where their beliefs are by bravely stepping forward to fund and save the Scouts?”

Sen. Portman, CPAC, the Corrupt Media and Why Conservatives Must Not ‘Go Gay’

Wednesday, March 20th, 2013

Republicans will never “out-gay” the Democrats in pandering to a Sin Movement…

Sen. Rob Portman's emotional conversion to the homosexual "marriage" cause plays in to the liberal media and "gay" narrative that same-sex "marriage" is inevitable.

Sen. Rob Portman’s emotional conversion to the homosexual “marriage” cause — which he justified as supporting his homosexual son — plays into the liberal media and “gay” activist narrative that same-sex “marriage” is inevitable.

By Peter LaBarbera for Americans For Truth

Sen. Rob Portman (R-Ohio), Hillary Clinton, Laura Bush – it seems everyone is embracing oxymoronic homosexual “marriage” these days, or so the liberal media would have us believe. Promoting sexual perversion in the name of “civil rights” is the trendy and “cool” thing to do. If you’ve heard it once you’ve heard it a hundred times: today’s youth (and we all know how wise and experienced they are) are overwhelming pro-“gay marriage” — so it is “inevitable.”

Even CPAC, the annual Conservative Political Action Conference, is getting in the game: last week it allowed the Competitive Enterprise Institute (CEI) to sponsor an entire panel (“Rainbow on the Right”) devoted to homosexuals’ “inclusion” in the conservative movement. Sounding more like a Washington Post “conservative” than a real one, panelist and Post columnist Jennifer Rubin reportedly exclaimed at the panel how anti-homosexual-“marriage” Republicans “cannot be at war with America on the issues of fairness and equality.“ (Prominent opponents of the Homosexual Lobby were excluded from the CPAC-CEI panel.)

In the midst of the CPAC gathering, news broke that Sen. Portman had flip-flopped on homosexual “marriage” because his 21-year-old son Will is a homosexual. Thus Portman succumbed to the emotionalism and illogic that dominate post-Christian America. Employing some awful theology, he kicked God to the curb — as is becoming habit in a land that increasingly mocks its own national motto, “In God We Trust.”

Here is a dose of Politically Incorrect truth: homosexual behavior is sinful (read: always wrong in the eyes of God), unnatural, destructive and yet – thankfully – changeable. To become homosexual-affirming because someone you love announces he or she is homosexual is the antithesis of “tough love.” It’s like telling a loved one who is has a drug problem: “I love you so much that I’m going to send you a five ounces of cocaine every month, because that’s how much I care.”

An imperfect analogy, perhaps, but Portman’s tragic defection and moral weakness play right into the Left’s ubiquitous narrative that same-sex “marriage” is unstoppable. Don’t buy it. In politics and life, only death and taxes are inevitable. Remember that radical feminists used to say that the abortion debate was “settled”; now they’re losing that cultural battle for hearts and minds.

AFTAH Interviews Pastor Ken Hutcherson on Washington State ‘Gay Marriage’ Measure – Part One

Friday, November 30th, 2012

This is the first of a two-part interview [click HERE to listen] with Ken Hutcherson, senior pastor of Antioch Bible Church, in Redmond, Washington. It was recorded November 29, 2012. Hutcherson discusses the failed pro-family campaign to defeat a homosexual “marriage” bill in his state. He drew attention in pro-family circles by. criticizing national groups such as National Organization for Marriage (NOM) for coming into the state and dictating a “moderate” leadership for the pro-traditional-marriage forces–at the expense of a unified, local coalition of religious and pro-family leaders that had already formed. (See these articles quoting Hutcherson in One News Now and Christian Post.) Hutcherson compares the Washington State anti-“gay marriage” campaign’s effort to stay moderate (he says he was denied a leadership role because he was viewed by NOM as “too controversial”) to GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney avoiding social issues to reach out to moderate voters. “Hutch” says Romney would have won had he exposed President Barack Obama’s radical record on “same-sex marriage,” abortion and other social issues because that would have motivated more Christians and conservatives to go to the polls. AFTAH will be inviting NOM to tell its side of the Washington State marriage vote story in a future interview. — Peter LaBarbera, AFTAH

AFTAH Interview with FOX News Contributor and AFA Radio Host Sandy Rios

Tuesday, November 27th, 2012

The following interview with FOX News contributor and American Family Association (AFA) talk show host Sandy Rios was recorded November 15, 2012. We apologize for the delay in posting it. Rios is the former president of Concerned Women for America (where she was my former boss) and hosts of “Sandy Rios in the Morning,” which airs 7:00-8:00 AM Central Time daily on AFR Talk. Sandy is also vice-president of Family-Pac Federal. In the interview, Rios reacts to the bigoted rant by Atlanta talk show host Neal Boortz — who absurdly blames the Republicans’ election loss on social conservatives. She also addresses the recent “gay” activist electoral sweep on homosexual “marriage,” the coming battle in the GOP over social issues, and the struggle even within pro-family circles to defend principle on the homosexual issue.  — Peter LaBarbera, AFTAH

AFTAH Interviews Bishop E.W. Jackson – Part One

Tuesday, October 16th, 2012

Bishop EW Jackson’s video urging fellow Blacks to flee the Democratic Party due to its anti-biblical policies now has more than 1.1 million hits.

This is a wonderful interview [click HERE to listen] with Bishop E.W. Jackson, founder and president of STAND (Staying True to America’s National Destiny) and bishop of Exodus Faith Ministries, based in Chesapeake, VA. It was recorded October 11, 2012, and is the first of two parts. Jackson is creator of a new viral video urging fellow Black Christians to “come out” of the Democratic Party due to its embrace of anti-Christian policies such as homosexual “marriage” and abortion-on-demand. Jackson says he has received overwhelmingly positive feedback from Black ministers and “Americans of African descent” on his video. He tells AFTAH that he believes a significant percentage of Blacks will not vote for Barack Obama this time around, even if they do not vote for Mitt Romney. He agrees with AFTAH President Peter LaBarbera that the Republican Party will devastate its pro-family “brand” by adopting pro-homosexual politics, and criticized Romney and his running mate, Paul Ryan, for acquiescing to homosexuals in the military (and, in Romney’s case, homosexuality in the Boy Scouts).

Jackson — a Marine Corps Veteran, Harvard Law graduate, and former candidate for U.S. Senate in Virginia — ends by saying that liberal policies including legal abortion and the promotion of homosexuality have done far greater harm to Blacks than the KKK ever did.

Homosexual Pressure Group GLAAD Smears Kirk Cameron as ‘Anti-Gay Extremist’

Tuesday, March 6th, 2012
Kirk Cameron has bravely stood for Christian and biblical values in Hollywood.

Below is a graphic put out by the homosexual media pressure group GLAAD (Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) — smearing Kirk Cameron as an “anti-gay extremist” for his recent heartfelt comments about homosexual behavior and “same-sex marriage,” on CNN’s Piers Morgan show. Watch the CNN interview HERE. As you can see, this is not the tone of an “extremist” but a thoughtful Christian man who is smart enough to know that Hollywood liberals and LGBT militants will pounce on any statement  he makes critical of homosexual behavor, which God through the Bible condemns. (By the way, I think Kirk would have been better off just saying “yes” to Morgan’s question about whether he believes homosexuality is a sin.)

On his Facebook page, Cameron writes, in part:

[In the CNN interview] I expressed the same views that are expressed clearly and emphatically throughout the Judeo-Christian scriptures. As a Bible believing Christian, I could not have answered any other way….

I also believe that freedom of speech and freedom of religion go hand-in-hand in America. I should be able to express moral views on social issues–especially those that have been the underpinning of Western civilization for 2,000 years–without being slandered, accused of hate speech, and told from those who preach “tolerance” that I need to either bend my beliefs to their moral standards or be silent when I’m in the public square.

I hope more than a few people could see the large volume of secularist morality being imposed on me….
