Hillary champions LGBTQ “Equality Act,” is friends with HRC president Chad Griffin
Folks, homosexualism has not been a major issue in this presidential campaign–due mainly to the media’s suffocating political correctness and unprofessional pro-LGBTQ bias–and partly due to political cowardice. Nevertheless, the issue is extremely important to many millions of Americans. So it is stunning that the YouTube video below of Hillary Rodham Clinton speaking at the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) on October 3, 2015 had only received 10,759 views as of the morning of September 23, 2016.
AFTAH is covering all major presidential candidates’ positions on homosexualism and transsexualism for this election–including when Republicans embrace or ignore the “gay” or “trans” agenda. (Some GOP political types hate us for that.) [See Hillary’s campaign partner Tim Kaine’s HRC speech HERE and Donald Trump’s past support of homosexualism HERE.] We are cleaning up the YouTube transcript of this speech and will provide that ASAP. — Peter LaBarbera, AFTAH; @PeterLaBarbera

Hillary Clinton celebrates equality and commits to the work that still lies ahead with Human Rights Campaign’s volunteer leaders #EqualityForward
Democratic vice-presidential candidate and former Virginia governor Sen. Tim Kaine (D-VA) addressed the Human Rights Campaign national dinner September 10, 2016. Kaine, who calls himself a “devout” Catholic, said he believes the Catholic Church will one day embrace homosexual “marriage”–a claim rejected by his own bishop three days after Kaine’s HRC speech (see statement below).
The following statement was released by the Roman Catholic Bishop Francis X. DiLorenzo of the Diocese of Richmond, Virginia–after self-described “devout” Catholic. Sen. Tim Kaine (D-Virginia), the Democratic vice-presidential candidate, said that he believes the Catholic Church will one day recognize homosexual “marriage.” Sen. Kaine made the comment in a campaign speech September 10, 2016 at the Human Rights Campaign, the world’s largest and best-funded homosexual-bisexual-transgender lobby organization.
For Immediate Release: September 13, 2016
Bishop Francis X. DiLorenzo Statement on
The Catholic Church’s Teaching Regarding Marriage
“More than a year after the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling on marriage, and despite recent statements from the campaign trail, the Catholic Church’s 2000-year-old teaching to the truth about what constitutes marriage remains unchanged and resolute.
“As Catholics, we believe, all humans warrant dignity and deserve love and respect, and unjust discrimination is always wrong. Our understanding of marriage, however, is a matter of justice and fidelity to our Creator’s original design. Marriage is the only institution uniting one man and one woman with each other and with any child who comes from their union. Redefining marriage furthers no one’s rights, least of all those of children, who should not purposely be deprived of the right to be nurtured and loved by a mother and a father.
“We call on Catholics and all those concerned for preserving this sacred union to unite in prayer, to live and speak out with compassion and charity about the true nature of marriage – the heart of family life.”
Conservative and moderate Democrats are rapidly losing strength in the Party of John F. Kennedy and Harry Truman
Would Harry S Truman recognize what has become of his Democratic Party?
The following is an excerpt from the leftist (and occasionally hateful and nasty) website, Daily Kos. The piece is titled, “The Unmistakable Lesson of the Sanders Campaign: The Left Wing Is Ascendant in the Democratic Party, ” by Chris Bowers and Matt Kerbel. The writers are authors of a new book, “Next Generation Netroots: Realignment and the Rise of the Internet Left.” This is not exactly news, but it’s interesting to hear leftists describe how they are taking over the Democratic Party. Obviously, the Democrats’ and Obama’s embrace of All Things “Gay” & :Transgender” is a big part of that leftward drift. —@PeterLaBarbera, AFTAH:
The progressive left–fueled by an increasingly liberal Democratic rank and file and a well-coordinated network of maturing netroots groups and established progressive issue advocacy organizations–is ascendant in the Democratic Party. The competitiveness of the Sanders campaign was shocking to the political world because, generally speaking, it did not recognize this ascendancy was underway. However, if they had been paying attention, the signs were all there, years beforehand.
Increasingly liberal Democratic rank and file
Over the past decade and a half, the Democratic rank and file has become much more liberal. The trend has been so pronounced that Democrats have transitioned from being a party dominated by self-identified moderates to one dominated by self-identified liberals. As we write in Next Generation Netroots:
Not long ago, self-identified liberals were a small minority of all Democratic self-identifiers. At the start of the previous decade, not only were moderate Democrats a clear plurality within the Democratic coalition, there were almost as many self-identified conservative Democrats as there were self-identified liberal Democrats. According to Gallup, liberals in 2000 constituted a mere 29% of rank-and-file Democrats, barely edging out conservatives (25%) while being swamped by moderates, who made up 44% of the party base. The share of liberals began to rise in 2003 and has been increasing ever since. By 2007, liberals had caught up to moderates, and in 2011 surpassed them. In 2014, fully 44% of Democrats were self-described liberals, while only 36% claimed to be moderates. At 19%, conservative Democrats have become an endangered species.
Liberals are not only increasing as a percentage of Democrats, they also far more likely to turn out to vote in Democratic primaries than moderates and conservatives, thus increasing their influence beyond their numbers. As Harry Enten wrote for fivethirteight.com back in April, liberals made up 46% of Demcoratic primary voters in 2008, and an astonishing 61% in 2016:
Moderate and conservative voters, meanwhile, are a much smaller part of the Democratic primary vote than they were eight years ago. In 2008, they made up 54 percent of primary voters in the states that have voted so far this year. That’s down 15 percentage points and generally matches the decline of self-identified moderate and conservative Democrats we’ve seen in national surveys.
What’s more, as Enten notes, this trend toward an increasingly liberal Democratic Party is likely to continue, as “it’s the youngest Democrats who are more likely to identify as ‘very liberal.'” [read the full article HERE]
Bean gave $1 million to HRC; also founded Gay & Lesbian Victory Fund; is largest Oregon donor to Obama; envisioned and funded HRC’s D.C. headquarters building; HRC finally comments on case after five days of silence
Obama’s ‘Chickenhawk’ Campaign Contributor? In better days, Portland homosexual activist and Democratic power-broker Terry Bean is shown posing for a photo with Barack Obama. Bean–who was arrested for sodomizing a 15-year-old boy–was a key behind-the-scenes “gay” activist who raised more campaign cash for Obama than anyone from Oregon. “Chickenhawk” is a “gay” slang term for homosexual men who pursue sex with minor and teenage boys (derisively called “chicken”)–as appears to be the predilection of the 66-year-old Bean. Kiah Lawson, the 25-year-old former boyfriend of Bean, was also arrested for sodomizing the minor boy (see arrest photos below).
By Peter LaBarbera
Folks, once in a while a story with such sordid and shocking details breaks through the leftist media’s pro-“gay” censorship to reveal the stark truth about the perverse lesbian-gay-bisexual-transgender-“queer” (LGBTQ) movement. The child-sex arrest of Terry Bean–a founder of both the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) and Gay & Lesbian Victory Fund; Obama money-man; and major Democratic power-broker–is one of those cases. Below is a TV news collage– including commentary by pro-family leaders Scott Lively and Bryan Fischer–of the story of the 66-year-old Bean’s arrest last Wednesday for committing sodomy with a 15-year-old-boy.
“Law enforcement sources familiar with the case say Bean will be charged with two counts of sodomy in the third degree, a felony, and sex abuse in the third degree, a misdemeanor. He will be arraigned later in Lane County, where the crimes allegedly occurred in 2013.”
Human Rights Campaign, the world’s largest and best-funded homosexual lobby organization (Executive Director Chad Griffin makes more than $400,000 annually), took the time to condemn the grand jury’s non-indictment of Ferguson, Missouri policeman Darren Wilson, and celebrate the “Transgender Day of Remembrance,” among other blog posts–but has yet to post anything on its website on the sex-crime arrest of Bean, who reportedly has donated more than $1 million to HRC. Bean has been removed from HRC’s Board of Directors pending the adjudication of his case.
AFTAH will carry multiple stories on this case and the twisted reality–dating back to ancient homosexuality–of older adult “homosexual” men sodomizing teenage boys. How telling is it that HRC–which routinely and recklessly castigates conservative, Christian pro-family groups like AFTAH–took five days to issue a bland, non-condemnatory statement on its predatory benefactor Bean? His arrest puts the powerful homosexual lobby group in a very tight spot: Bean, after all, is so central to the “gay” lobby’s success that he came up with the idea of HRC constructing of a swank headquarters building in Washington, D.C. More details and photos showing Bean’s enormous clout in Democratic circles follow the video after the jump:
Here are the arrest mugshots of Bean and Lawson, the former boyfriend four decades his junior, who was also arrested on sex-crime charges involving sodomy with a 15-year-old boy at a hotel in Eugene, Oregon. Various news and commentary links about the Bean sex-crime case follow the photo:
News Links: Round-up on Terry Bean arrest:
Williamette Week (6/4/14; pre-arrest): “Terry Bean’s Problem: A prominent Portlander fights for his reputation after a love affair goes wrong”: “Bean says that last year he fell in love with Lawson. Bean paid him a $400-a-week allowance, put Lawson up in one of his homes and took him on international trips. Last fall, Bean brought Lawson to the White House and also introduced him to Obama…”In January, Lawson says, he discovered that Bean had a hidden camera in the smoke detector above Bean’s bed in his West Hills home. Lawson used this information to seek money from Bean, alleging that the camera captured videos ‘of at least a half dozen individuals in a state of nudity engaged in intimate acts with you.’ Lawson claims he is in more than one video.”
The Oregonian: “Former boyfriend of Democratic fundraiser Terry Bean arrested on sex abuse indictment”: “Both Bean and Lawson are accused of having a sexual encounter with the same 15-year-old boy in a hotel in Eugene last year. They had arranged the encounter with the teen after meeting him via a website, investigators allege.”
NY Post: “Obama Fundraiser Accused of Sex with Minor”: “He’s a mega bundler for President Obama. He’s been on Air Force One. He’s shared a Christmas visit with Michelle Obama at the White House. And now he’s being accused of sex with a minor.”
Hope and Change:Republican Mia Love will be representing Utah’s 4th Congressional District. Love is the first Black female Republican ever elected to Congress. Go HERE to read what Love had to say about the 2013 Supreme Court decision that effectively invalidated Californians’ Prop 8 vote against homosexuality-based “marriage.”
Folks, I would add to this excellent compilation by my friend and stellar Texas education activist Donna Garner, the very good news that two pro-family leaders against the aggressive homosexualist agenda were elected to state house (in Colorado and Michigan). Gordon “Chaps” Klingenschmitt won in a landslide in Colorado Springs and Gary Glenn of AFA-Michigan won 55-45 in Midland and Bay Counties in Michigan. America is on her way back! — Peter LaBarbera, AFTAH
28 Democrats who voted for ObamaCare are now gone from the U. S. Senate.
As of midnight on 11.4.14, the Republicans had won 52 Senate seats; and the Democrats had won 44.
Louisiana is still to be decided and is a probable win for the Republicans; that would make 53 Senate seats.
Alaska and Virginia have not been called yet and could easily become seats 54 and 55 for the Republicans. [Editor’s Note: there is a good chance Democrat Mark Warner will win Virginia, so the best likelihood is that the GOP will control the Senate with 54 votes after the Louisiana run-off election.]
It is possible that some Democrats and/or Independents might also flip to become Republicans because of the landslide victories of last night.
Republicans picked up 8 Senate seats — Alaska, Arkansas, Colorado, Iowa, Montana, North Carolina, South Dakota and West Virginia.
Four incumbent Democrats were defeated — Begich, Pryor, Udall, and Hagan.
There are 100 Senators in the U. S. Senate. Only 51 are needed to pass a bill.
U. S. HOUSE
The U. S. House is made up of 435 members. A majority is 218 seats.
At last count, Republicans took 246 seats with more to be decided. Right now, that is the largest Republican majority in more than 60 years.
As of this election, 31 out of 50 states have Republican Governors (even in Mass., Illinois, Maryland)
STATE LEGISLATIVE CHAMBERS
Democrats lost their super-majorities in the California Senate, the Vermont House and the Maryland Senate.
Republicans now control 67 state chambers while the Democrats control 28. Before Tuesday, Republicans had a 57-41 advantage.
Republicans have complete state control – both chambers and the governor’s mansion – in 23 states, compared to six states for the Democrats.
On May 11, 2013, I spoke at a pro-family rally and posed the question, “Do you fear God or man?” on the issue of homosexual “marriage–which, of course, is not truly marriage in the eyes of our Creator. The rally was sponsored by Illinois Family Institute and was held outside of (Republican) State Rep. Jim Durkin’s district office in Western Springs, Illinois. At the time, Rep. Durkin was undecided on a pending homosexual “marriage” bill but he ended up voting “No.” The bill ultimately passed the Democrat-dominated Illinois General Assembly and was signed into law by Gov. Pat Quinn (D). It goes into effect June 1, although unnatural “gay marriages” are already allowed in Chicago and surrounding Cook County due to legal action. –Peter LaBarbera, AFTAH [Watch this on YouTube here: http://youtu.be/Y4t3bzYkc0c]
The federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is radically pro-homosexual in its ideology, but the data it produces on the extraordinary health risks of homosexual sex make a strong case for discouraging immoral “gay, lesbian, and bisexual” behaviors.

Here is Part Two of our 2014 Resolutions for Christians Fighting the Homosexual/Transgender Lobby. Part One — link to it HERE — included the following:
Decide Whether You are with God or Against Him
Apply the “Sexual Sin Substitution Test” (S3T) — substitute another sexual sin for “gay” and see if it makes sense. [This was by far the most popular based on the feedback we received! – Editor]
Get Off the Sidelines and Start Speaking Out!
Publicize Ex-”Gays” — the “Greatest Story Never Told” (by the Media)
Reject LGBT Hate-Slurs (“Bigot, Hater and Homophobe”)
6) Jesus Judged Sin, So You Can, Too (and You’re Judging Behavior): Regarding judging, first remember that we judge BAD BEHAVIORS all the time. It’s OK to judge! – as long as you’re not a sanctimonious, hypocritical jerk violating your own judgments and lacking God’s love and grace toward sinners. “But who am I to judge people who happen to be gay”? you ask. Answer: you are a follower of God, who reveals righteousness in His Word, the Bible. Besides, nobody just “happens to be gay” – and nowhere in the Bible is homosexuality recognized as a personal “identity” (see Point 7). The evil genius of the “gay” movement is that it turned a changeable sin into a proud, personal identity — one often embraced due to difficult or dysfunctional environmental circumstances in one’s childhood (including predatory sex abuse). Bottom line: God calls us to make right judgments on sin. The Secular- and Religious Left scream, “Judge Not!” but Jesus preached forgiveness of sin through humble repentance, such as when He told the adulteress, “Go and sin no more.” If Jesus didn’t approve of making righteous judgments, why did He praise John the Baptist as the greatest man every born – the same John the Baptist who publicly preached repentance from sin and even called out King Herod for his sexual sin? [See this interesting essay on King Herod and John the Baptist.] And isn’t it odd that the same pro-LGBT critics who scold us for judging “gays” JUDGE Bible-believing Christians all the time?! Here’s a terrific video by Frank Turek — a Christian who has suffered in the corporate world for opposing homosexual “marriage” — on proper “judging.”
7) Sodomy and Homosexual Behaviors Are Worthy of Judgment: Homosexuality is about “what people do,” not “who they are” (hence the existence of ex-“gays”; see point 4 in Part One). Perhaps you are ignorant of just how high-risk unnatural homosexual behaviors are: did you know that:
Bisexual men (including secretly homosexual men on the “down low”) are the main conduit for HIV to women in America — yet if a bisexual man transmits HIV to his girlfriend or wife, the CDC misleadingly classifies that as a “heterosexual” transmission;
Many lesbians mimic male homosexuals by engaging in anal perversions like “rimming” and “fisting” — and/or inserting “sex toys” like dildos (fake penises) into their partner’s anus (or vagina). Deviance begets deviance, and the godless “invent ways of doing evil” (Romans 1:30). Moreover, many lesbians report having sex with men.
“I believe that marriage is the union between a man and a woman. [big audience applause] For me as a Christian it’s also a sacred union, you know, God’s in the mix….I am not somebody who promotes same-sex marriage.” — Barack Obama, Saddleback Church debate moderated by Rick Warren, August 20, 2008 [see video below]
According to new polls, more Americans than ever believe that their President lied to them about Obama-care. That is, he engaged in a calculated deception, repeatedly and emphatically asserting that Americans could keep their health insurance plans, period. Rush Limbaugh and others state the obvious in explaining why Obama lied: to get his controversial health-care bill passed in Congress. (Then later we could start reading it to find out what’s in it….)
Now it is time to think back to other Obama deceptions and crafty manipulations. Check out President Obama’s recent tweet below celebrating Illinois’ House vote in favor of legalizing homosexual “marriage”:
Obama went from being a pensive, faith-minded advocate of traditional marriage as “sacred” in 2008 — (after previously backing “gay marriage” as a 1995 state senate candidate) — to the full-out champion of homosexuality-based “marriage” he is today. Was Obama’s “Christian” opposition to this key homosexual agenda item just a charade? If it was an act, it was a good one; with the help of the media, it fooled a lot of Americans. [See 2008 video below.]
2008: Obama’s pensive, religious devotion to real marriage – yeah, right
To put Obama’s radical metamorphosis on marriage in perspective, let’s go back to his famous, pious-sounding answer to mega-church pastor Rick Warren’s question, “What is marriage?” during his 2008 run for the presidency. It occurred at the August 16, 2008 debate with GOP candidate John McCain hosted by Warren’s Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, California — the ideal setting to burnish his “religious” credentials. (I should emphasize here that Obama is hardly unique among politicians in playing to religious people — and fibbing and deceiving — to get votes.) Below is a YouTube video of Obama in the Saddleback debate (his anser is excerpted at the top of this article);
A little context: Obama’s marriage contradiction
[Note: ever since this debate, this writer has faulted Warren for not following up on his question to Obama — who though professing loyalty to natural marriage was already actively undermining efforts to protect it in California. By letting Obama’s smooth, faith-oriented response rest (after Obama voiced his opposition to a federal Marriage Amendment) and moving on to the next question, Warren left the impression — widely repeated thereafter by the media — that Obama and McCain essentially agreed on same-sex “marriage” (both were “against” it). Sure, it was occasionally noted by the press that Obama backed “civil unions” and opposed a federal marriage amendment, the opposite of Sen. McCain — but the typical, simplistic media soundbite in the election was that both Obama and McCain “opposed gay marriage.”
