Below is a redacted copy of President Barack Obama’s Campaign 2012 Tumblr page celebrating another tragic “first” for his Administration: the traditional Naval ”first kiss” following a ship’s return to port occurred Dec. 21 between two women – as opposed to the normal and natural male-female spousal kiss.  The AP photo below (covered up here by AFTAH for the sake of decency) appeared worldwide, and Obama reposted it along with a portion of the story as it appeared in the British newspaper The Guardian. As you can read in the (typically one-sided) AP story, David Bauer, commanding office of the USS Oak Hill, was in cahoots with this homosexuals-in-the-military promotional stunt, telling AP that the crew was fine with the lesbians’ selection. Said Bauer of the publicly perverse kiss: “It’s going to happen and the crew’s going to enjoy it.” (That’s an order!)

It must be remembered that despite Western modernists’ curious obsession with homosexuality, this lesbian kiss is indecent by historic moral and religious (Judeo-Christian) standards. We are tempted to say Shame on the President, but it is all too obvious by now that this Commander-in-Chief sees no shame in celebrating sexual deviance (sin) – even open displays like this. (Obama infamously pooh-poohed a New Testament passage in Romans that clearly proscribes lesbianism and male homosexual acts.) Liberals cannot rewrite the moral code nor can they redefine decency to accommodate anything-goes sexuality.

Now Obama and the Democrats have ensured that wherever public displays of affection between married spouses and boyfriends-and-girlfriends occur, indecent spectacles like this will be in close proximity. With their new escalation of promoting homosexual behavior to other nations through U.S. foreign policy, President Barack Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton have raised America’s defiance toward her Creator to a new level — while needlessly alienating nations less morally compromised than our own.  Not content to keep our decadence between our shores, the United States – through aggressively pro-“gay” Democratic administrations – now demands that other countries sink to our level by embracing homosexuality as a “human right.”

Who knew that when President Ronald Reagan spoke idealistically about America becoming a “shining city on the hill,” that city would turn out to be Sodom?  Hillary earned plaudits from the Left with her U.N. speech on international “gay rights,” but her words were an affront to our Declaration of Independence, which appeals to “Nature and Nature’s God.”

By redefining “human rights” to include the normalization of same-sex behaviors and gender confusion, Obama and Clinton have turned God’s natural moral order on its head.  There are many countries – including Muslim-dominated nations and major powers like Russia – that reject homosexuality.  By pushing sexual deviance on these nations, we only confirm their perception of America as a corrupt and declining – and very arrogant — superpower.

America, rooted in the Bible, historically embraced anti-sodomy laws, but now we are in the grip of an unprecedented moral and spiritual crisis that blackens our reputation worldwide.  As one Muslim tweeted in reaction to Obama’s international “gay rights” plan: “There is a great divide between the Founding Fathers and the pro-gay regime ruling America [today].”

Aberrant sexuality is not a fundamental liberty, and defending morality is not hateful “bigotry.”  Hillary claims, “Being gay is not a Western invention, it is a human reality.”  But homosexuality is about changeable behavior – not intrinsic, innate identity – as evidenced by countless men and women who now live happy lives apart from homosexuality, despite once considering themselves “gay” or “lesbian.”

Homosexuality – once widely regarded as a Crime Against Nature — is no more a “fundamental human right” than any other sexual sin.  Moreover, its practice is linked disproportionately to sexual diseases like HIV, anal cancer, hepatitis, gonorrhea and syphilis.  Culturally and politically speaking, what makes this perversion unique is that it has a powerful and well-funded (“gay”) movement behind it.  (There are no “Adultery Pride Parades” or “Porn-Users Pride Months.”)  However, that does not make it right.  All Americans who love God and respect His wonderful design for mankind should be ashamed of Obama’s and Hillary’s campaign to force a deeply flawed sexual ideology on innocent nations that do NOT want to emulate American decadence.

Admitted homosexual Judge Vaughn Walker

Proposition 8 is an amendment to California’s State Constitution. It was passed by a comfortable margin via ballot initiative in 2008. Prop 8 maintained the age-old definition of marriage in the Golden State as requiring binary male-female compatibility. It remains tied-up in Federal Court today.  

Back in February of 2010 it became rumored that retired Federal Judge Vaughn Walker – who presided over the case at the District level – was a practitioner of the homosexual lifestyle. It was further reported that he had a longtime male lover. Judge Walker refused to confirm or deny the rumors. At the time I was one of the few people to publicly call for his recusal. It’s inexplicable that attorneys defending Prop 8 didn’t make such a motion.

With Judge Walker’s recent admission that he does in fact practice homosexuality, the case for recusal has been proven. His ruling on the Prop 8 case should be immediately vacated as he possessed both an incontrovertible and disqualifying conflict of interest.

Federal law is clear. The code of judicial conduct requires that a judge step down from a case if “the judge’s impartiality might reasonably be questioned,” or when he “has a financial … or any other interest that could be affected substantially by the outcome of the proceeding.”

By manufacturing from thin air a Constitutional “right” to same-sex “marriage” – something the Framers of the US Constitution could not have conceptualized, much less endorsed – Judge Walker abused his position on the bench to create for himself a new privilege that he previously did not possess. It’s undeniable that he had an “interest that could be affected substantially by the outcome of the proceeding.” 

Stemming from his own bizarre and contrived legal findings in the case, Judge Walker’s ruling made it possible for both he and his male sexual partner to “marry.” Prior to his ruling he could not. Subsequent to his ruling – and if the ruling is upheld – he could. This is not opinion. It’s an objective matter of fact. Judge Walker unilaterally and arbitrarily gave himself a newfangled “right.”

Furthermore, the U.S. Code, Section 455 (a) states: “Any justice, judge, or magistrate judge of the United States shall disqualify himself in any proceeding in which his impartiality might reasonably be questioned.” U.S.C. Section 455 (b) (1) also states that a judge must be disqualified if he “has a personal bias or prejudice concerning a party, or personal knowledge of disputed evidentiary facts concerning the proceeding.”

No reasonable person can deny that Judge Walker held a “personal bias” as his decision directly affected him on a very personal level.

A few proponents of so-called “gay marriage” have slapped me in the face with the following red herring: “Why, using your logic a heterosexual judge would also have to recuse himself. No judge could ever preside over a case involving same-sex ‘marriage.’”

This is apples-to-oranges nonsense. On a case concerning the novel question of radically redefining marriage to include same-sex pairs, a heterosexual judge, by definition, would not possess a personal “interest that could be affected substantially by the outcome of the proceeding.” A heterosexual judge is precisely what Federal law requires under such circumstances.    

By analogy, if a Federal Judge were presiding over a case to determine the merits of a new gambling law, and that judge happened to have a gambling addiction, law would require that he recuse himself due to a clear conflict of interest. At a minimum, “the judge’s impartiality might reasonably be questioned.”

Or consider an instance where a judge crossed state lines to legally use medical marijuana for cancer treatment. If he were later presented with a case covering issues related to the legality of medical marijuana, he would necessarily be disqualified and also expected to recuse himself.

An honorable man – an honorable judge must step down from any case where there is even the remote appearance of a conflict. In Judge Walker’s situation, the conflict proved to be absolute.

His was the textbook example of a conflict requiring recusal. It’s now the textbook example of judicial activism. This outrageous decision must be vacated and attorneys defending Prop 8 should immediately file a motion to that effect.

However — just as the popularization of “pro-choice” rhetoric has no bearing on the ethics of killing innocent, unborn babies in the womb – this highly strategic, pro-”gay” cultural transformation has no bearing on the morality of homosexual practice. Nor does it negate the massive health risks and other pitfalls associated with homosexuality, including the emerging reality that homosexuality-based “rights’ destroy religious freedom (to oppose same-sex conduct). This is one of the reasons my kids no longer attend Lyons Township High School (LTHS) in LaGrange and Western Springs [Illinois].  This and much worse happens there because parents are not involved enough and (sorry) churches do even less.

I was at the South Campus this evening and found this large display (see photo at right) applauding Civil Unions at the front entry of LTHS.

There are 17 suburbs and 25 feeder schools that send their children to this school.  Imagine what influence parents would have if they cared to get involved.  But, because less than 2% (not 10%) of the population is more consistent in pressing this agenda, all of our kids, the majority, have to be subjected to this family-threatening political correctness that is not healthy or in the interest of the general welfare.

Perhaps, with upcoming school board elections [April 5, 2011], this may be good time to discuss this in the public square.  Remember the frog in the kettle?

Sen. Joe Lieberman's phoney piety is exposed by his emergence as a leading crusader in Congress for the homosexual agenda.

CHICAGO – As most Americans shop and begin making preparations for Christmas or their religious holiday, the U.S. Senate, led by Majority Leader Harry Reid (D) and Sen. Joseph Lieberman (independent), is busy securing a vote to effectively homosexualize our Armed Forces.  [Call your Senators at 202-224-3121 to oppose the repeal of the law banning open homosexuality in the military (commonly called “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell”).]

Peter LaBarbera, president of Americans For Truth About Homosexuality, which opposes the “gay” activist agenda, said today’s vote, potentially clearing the way for repealing the military ban, is the most important homosexuality-related congressional vote ever held: “If the lame-duck Congress succeeds in ‘gaying down’ our military this weekend, it will take a disastrous leap toward “mainstreaming” deviant, sinful homosexual conduct – not just in the military but in larger society — thus further propelling America’s moral downward spiral.

“This is a needless injection of sexual politics into our Armed Forces,” LaBarbera said, noting that the President’s own DoD report on implementing the Repeal reveals:

• 23.7 percent of surveyed Service members (38.1 percent of Marines) said repealing “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” would cause them to “leave [the military] sooner than I planned” or “think about leaving sooner than I had planned”;

• 44.3 percent of combat veterans (59.4 percent of Marines) said that having an open homosexual in their immediate unit in the field or at sea would “Negatively” or “Very Negatively” affect their “unit’s effectiveness at completing its mission”;

Calling the Repeal a “civil rights measure,” Lieberman said, “The days should be over when we let civil rights measures be filibustered so they can’t be adopted.’’

LaBarbera observed:

• Shame on Joe Lieberman – who professes to adhere to ancient Jewish moral law – for confusing the noble civil rights cause with an agenda that seeks to normalize destructive homosexual behavior. Lieberman is wrong: homosexuality is not the basis for “civil rights,” which In the past has been based on unchangeable skin color – not sexual misconduct that can be resisted or changed (as evidenced by thousands of former homosexuals who now live happy lives in accordance with God’s will);
• Americans are tired of religious phoneys like Lieberman – politicians who use their religion as a PR prop while actively undermining its moral dictates. Claiming to be an “observant” Jew, Lieberman wears his religion on his sleeve (perhaps he will walk, not drive, on the Jewish Sabbath Day today to cast his pro-homosexuality vote!).  Stealing the moral authority of “civil rights” is the only way Lieberman can rationalize his role as a crusader for the ‘Gay’ Lobby on Capitol Hill — when His religion, a form of Orthodox Judaism, condemns homosexual acts as an “abomination”;
• There are no “ex-Blacks”; there are many ex-“gays.” This helps explain the difference between President Truman’s noble reform to racially integrate African Americans into the military – and President Obama’s misguided push for open homosexuals in the military, which is really about pandering to his liberal, pro-“gay” political base.

Said Brian Camenker, founder of the pro-family group Mass Resistance, who attends an Orthodox synagogue in the Boston area:

“Sen. Joseph Lieberman, who has the incredible chutzpah to call himself an Orthodox Jew, will desecrate the holy Sabbath to go to work – the U.S. Senate – and vote to force the integration of homosexuality into the U.S. military. He is a shameful disgrace and an embarrassment to Orthodox Jews everywhere.”

Voter Guide put out last year by the Massachusetts Family Institute shows then-candidate Scott Brown promising to SUPPORT the current "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy banning open homosexuals in the military. Now, as Senator, Brown has flip-flopped and pledged to vote for the Repeal of the military's "gay" ban. Brown's treachery has emboldened Democrats and pro-Repeal forces seeking to make the radical change in the lame-duck Congress.

Folks, so much for this Tea Party-backed Republican and the comeback of political integrity. By reneging on his promise to support DADT (and abandoning conservatism on other issues), Scott Brown shows that he is just like so many other politicians: using the conservatives and religious voters to get elected — then pursuing the agenda of powerful, liberal special interest groups. The GOP is doomed as a major party if it follows the RINO (Republicans In Name Only) lead by caving on social issues  — although this is also a military/security matter. That’s because America already has a party devoted to Abortion-on-Demand and Homosexuality – the Democrats.

And here’s a memo to Tea Partiers: state promotion of aberrant sexual lifestyles IS a Tea Party issue — which you will learn (the hard way) if the Big Government Gay agenda succeeds and the Pentagon is turned overnight into the world’s biggest pro-homosexual advocacy organization. Certainly our Founding Fathers led by Gen. US Senator Scott Brown has announced on Friday, Dec. 3 that he now supports the repeal of “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell” – effectively forcing the integration of homosexuality into the United States military.

In a sleazy, dishonest lame-duck move, the Democrats in Congress are desperately trying to repeal the law in the waning days before the new Republican-laden Congress takes over on Jan. 1. A considerable number of left-wing pro-homosexual Democrats were defeated in the Nov. 2 elections, and Brown (and the others) know that the repeal has virtually no chance once the newly elected members of Congress get in.

The bill has already passed the House and is in the Senate. Although Brown has voted to delay the bill slightly, that is only for strategic purposes. He has said he will support the bill as soon as certain “horse-trading” takes place. A final vote could come any day.

The term “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” merely refers to an executive order by President Bill Clinton to circumvent the actual US law passed by Congress in 1993 which completely bans homosexuals from the military.

The 1993 law they are attempting to repeal (USC Section 654, Title 10) states:

“The presence in the armed forces of persons who demonstrate a propensity or intent to engage in homosexual acts would create an unacceptable risk to the high standards of morale, good order and discipline, and unit cohesion that are the essence of military capability.”

Furthermore, this repeal is part of a larger Defense Appropriations Bill. That bill also includes language to allow taxpayer funded abortions in US military bases around the world. [Editor's Note: the Repeal bill to allow open homosexuality in the military  is now a stand-alone bill.]

Thus Brown, who campaigned on being the “41st vote” against the Obama agenda, could end up being a deciding vote to pass this key Obama promise to the homosexual movement. (And the abortion movement.)

Earlier this year Brown abandoned the Republicans and was the deciding vote on Obama’s massive financial reform bill. (Currently, Brown has voiced support for the Obama administration’s invasive and unnecessary TSA airport nude scans and pat-downs which angers many conservatives.)

Conservative base stunned

Nevertheless, Brown’s decision on “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell” (DADT), which he publicly announced last Friday, has stunned and angered his conservative base in Massachusetts. Pro-family and pro-life activists feel particularly betrayed. Back in 2004, it was pro-family and pro-life activists who converged from around the state and worked around the clock to help then-state rep Brown win the grueling special March 2 state senate election against Angus McQuilken by 51%-47%. And it was pro-family and pro-life activists who supported Brown early on in his US Senate race early on when he was 25 points behind Martha Coakley and nobody else would take him seriously. But those days are long gone.

Mass Resistance’s conversation with Brown’s Washington, DC office

On Wednesday afternoon Brian Camenker of MassResistance spoke at length with Brandon Acheson, a staffer in Brown’s Washington, DC office who has been explaining Brown’s position on this issue to constituents since the announcement. It was very disappointing, to say the least. It appears that Brown has become just another disingenuous, disconnected Washington politician.

Here’s some of what Brandon told us:

• Brown’s statement in the MFI voter guide. Brandon indicated he didn’t know who MFI was and that Brown never authorized any statement about his position — that it must have been a miscommunication. “Sen. Brown never made a firm commitment that he would vote against it,” Brandon told us. However, MFI’s president, Kris Mineau, told that Boston Herald, “When Sen. Brown ran for election, he said he would support the current policy of ‘don’t ask, don’t tell.’” In fact, MFI worked closely with Brown and hosted several events for him in this campaign. They even hold a birthday party for him each year (even though he’s pro-choice). Interestingly, in that same article the Herald also reported that:  “Brown’s spokeswoman, Gail Gitcho, said Brown changed his tune after President Obama ordered the Pentagon to review the policy. At that point, Brown said he would keep an open mind to its finding, which came out this week.”
• Sleazy lame-duck session. We asked Brandon why Brown doesn’t support waiting a few weeks and letting the newly elected Congress decide this — that using a lame-duck session was offensive to people. He avoided answering the question directly, but indicated that Brown had no problem with a lame-duck session passing controversial bills. But he’s insisting that two things get passed first: (1) full extension of the Bush-era tax cuts, and (2) a bill to continue funding the federal budget. Both of those appear to be in the works as part of the horse-trading going on to get this bill passed.
• Repealing the current law makes bold statement. Repealing the current law (see text above) makes the statement that homosexuality is compatible with US military service. Does Brown agree with that? Brandon wouldn’t answer that. Instead, he said that Brown has been in the military for 31 years and is comfortable with his position. (Would he be comfortable showering next to someone sizing him up?  Well, we didn’t ask that.)
• 41st vote against Obama agenda? We reminded him that Brown ran as “number 41″ and his base back home read that as their protection against the Obama agenda being pushed on them. But now Brown seems to be doing just the opposite. Brandon wouldn’t comment on that, either. He seemed to indicate that Brown was not concerned about opposition from conservatives back home, or the concept that they were his “base” of support.
  Needless to say, the entire conversation was depressing and angering.

What should YOU do right now?
Call now — Sen. Brown needs to hear from you loud and clear.

Every politician needs to hear from the people, especially his base. He’s certainly been hearing from the homosexual lobby (see below). He REALLY needs to hear from you.

Call Brown’s Washington DC office at 202-224-4543. (It’s more effective than calling his Boston office, which told us they are not knowledgeable on this issue — although they do register the number of calls they get.)

EVERYONE across the country should do this, since Sen. Brown got support (including millions of dollars in small donations) from across the country. Tell them that if Brown supports the repeal of “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell” you will actively campaign against him in 2012 (or whatever else you think is appropriate).

It only takes five minutes, but it’s worth it.

Leave a message if you have to. In this short time frame it’s the only thing that will get his attention. (And you can bet that the homosexual lobby is doing the same thing — see our report HERE!)

Harry Reid and the Democrats are planning to use to attempt to repeal the ban on homosexuality in the military (during the lame-duck session). Frank: ‘Zero chance’ for LGBT bills next year

Gay U.S. Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.), who won re-election last week in one of his toughest challenges, said LGBT legislation would have no chance of passing in Congress under the Republican-controlled House next year.

In an interview Tuesday with the Washington Blade, Frank also said he was confident that the Senate, of which Democrats retained control, would join President Obama in blocking any anti-gay bills that conservative Republicans might introduce over the next two years.

“Next year there’s no chance of anything happening,” he said of pro-LGBT legislation. “There’s zero chance.”

He added, “It will be a status quo. They don’t have the votes to hurt us but we don’t have the votes to advance anything in the cause.”

Frank also said he was certain that Republicans would fail in an attempt to overturn D.C.’s same-sex marriage law.

“Do you think Barack Obama is going to sign a bill to repeal the D.C. marriage law,” he asked. “It won’t go through the Senate. There is no chance that could happen. None—zero.”

Frank noted that only five out of 179 House Republicans voted earlier this year to repeal “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.”

“The Republicans have become much more anti-gay in their voting patterns,” he said. “There is zero chance of anything good happening with Republicans in control of the House.”

Frank said he was hopeful that the Senate would vote to repeal “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” in the congressional lame duck session over the next two weeks. The House passed a “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” repeal measure earlier this year as part of a defense authorization bill.

The Senate killed a similar defense authorization bill containing “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” repeal language in a filibuster organized by Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.). Every Senate Republican voted against a cloture motion to break the filibuster.

Frank noted that a number of GOP senators cited the Senate bill’s inclusion of a controversial immigration provision known as the DREAM Act as their reason for voting against the bill, saying they otherwise would have supported repeal of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.”

He said Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) told him he won’t insert the DREAM Act immigration language in the defense authorization bill when he brings it to the Senate floor in the lame duck session.

With the immigration language removed as an “excuse,” Frank said he’s hopeful that Republican senators who support repeal of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” will now join Democrats in supporting the overall defense bill to which repeal language will be attached. Among the GOP senators that repeal advocates hope will back the bill this time are Sens. Susan Collins and Olympia Snow, both from Maine. [Continued... Pennsylvania Democrat Patrick Murphy -- who led the congressional effort to repeal the ban on homosexuals in the military -- was among the out-of-touch social liberals to lose his seat in the GOP landslide.

On the morning after, the lead story in the Washington Post’s Style section was headlined: “The first frost coats Election Day with symbolism.”
 
Yes, the D.C. area got its first frost on the very day that voters sent Obama’s hope for a socialist America into a cooler, if not a deep freeze.
 
“In this moment of political realignment, to one voter, dormancy is a healthy pause; to another it’s a return to paralysis,” wrote the Post’s gardening writer Adrian Higgins.
 
It’s not hard to figure out which garden party Mr. Higgins digs: “The cycles of nature do indeed come to define the political vicissitudes of Washington: change, growth, retreat.”
 
Well, 2008 brought change, all right. And growth – in government, with a quarter million new bureaucrats; a national debt of nearly $14 trillion and rising, and nationalized health care. But the fun can’t go on forever, and the frost aptly symbolizes the Capitol mood among the donkeys.
 
Higgins talked to an Arizona couple who lingered in D.C. after the Oct. 30 left-wing mockfest “Restore Sanity/and or Fear” rally staged by Comedy Central on the mall. They weren’t laughing Wednesday, however. Touring the National Arboretum, the woman of the pair shared this wistful thought: “Maybe you can draw a connection between the time it takes to grow a tree and build a human community.”

To liberals, our 234-year-old republic isn’t a nation of human communities but rather a sorry collection of misfits who need ever more government. Those misfits sent quite a message on Tuesday, however, which ran far deeper than the Republican tide.

Evangelical Christians and conservative Catholics turned out in droves, many of them supporting Tea Party candidates and initiatives.

A post-election survey conducted by Public Opinion Strategies for the Faith and Freedom Coalition reports that self-identified evangelicals comprised nearly 30 percent of the total vote and cast 78 percent of their ballots for Republicans. The survey also indicated that 52 percent of self-identified members of the Tea Party movement are born-again evangelicals.  Roman Catholics, who had voted Democrat in 2006 and 2008, broke for the GOP in 2010, with 54 percent overall and nearly 60 percent of white Catholics voting for Republicans, according to a Pew Forum survey.

Given the nation’s economic crisis and health care takeover, the Tea Parties have concentrated on fiscal issues. But it would be a huge mistake to conclude that they care only about money. They’re worried for their kids and grandkids.

The Tea Party/Christian surge helped the GOP sweep the South, and the gains were so big in the Midwest that one wag called it the “Rust Belt Rout.”  Pro-life winners included Pennsylvania’s new senator, Pat Toomey, and the former and now future Indiana Sen. Dan Coats.
 
The GOP also took a majority of governor’s races and gained control of at least 20 more state assemblies or senates or both. In South Carolina, pro-life Nikki Haley overcame a vicious smear campaign to win. Even in liberal Maine, voters elected a pro-life governor, Paul LePage, and gave Republicans control of the state House and Senate.

In Iowa, voters dispatched three of the state Supreme Court justices who had struck down Iowa’s marriage law – Chief Justice Marsha Ternus and Justices David Baker and Michael Streit. The other four judges were fortunate not to be on the ballot.

In Oklahoma, voters approved a constitutional amendment prohibiting judges from applying Islamic Shariah law.

Constitutional amendments passed in Arizona and Oklahoma allowing residents to opt out of certain provisions in ObamaCare. Arizona voters also passed, with 60 percent of the vote, an initiative prohibiting racial preferences in the state’s public institutions, including universities.

Four initiatives to legalize marijuana went up in smoke. California’s Prop. 19, which leftwing billionaire George Soros promoted heavily, failed by 54 percent to 44 percent. Initiatives involving legalized medical marijuana also failed in Arizona, South Dakota and Oregon.
 
Voters rejected 10 of the 13 “Stupak Democrats” who were billed as pro-life but had voted for ObamaCare despite no anti-abortion funding language in the final bill. Five Democrats who pro-lifers called the “flip-flop five,” and who first voted for ObamaCare and then voted “no” the next time were also defeated.
 
In Pennsylvania, Rep. Patrick Murphy (D), who sponsored a House bill overturning the military’s ban on homosexuality, was defeated, as was Rep. Joe Sestak (D), who was running for the U.S. Senate and who had wanted to be the bill’s prime sponsor, according to Elaine Donnelly of the Center for Military Readiness.
 
“Both candidates tried to disguise their extreme social liberalism with military uniforms they had previously worn,” Donnelly said. 
 
California remains a liberal bastion, with voters electing Jerry “Moonbeam” Brown as governor, re-electing Sen. Barbara Boxer, and rejecting a measure that would have saved the state from its own idiotic and draconian carbon-curbing (and job killing) law. Elsewhere, Harry Reid and Barney Frank were re-elected, as were some other left-of-Trotsky liberals. But most of the rest of the nation seems to have broken the “progressive” stranglehold.
 
The frost is on the liberal pumpkin, and it’s likely to get a lot colder.

It’s no wonder that Nancy Pelosi is out of touch. As AFTAH has well documented, her hometown district, San Francisco, is so perverse, intolerant (of Christians), and extreme — even by left-wing standards – that most Americans would not believe what goes on there. For example, every Easter Sunday, a large crowd of San Franciscans gathers in Dolores Park to watch the “Hunky Jesus” contest mocking Jesus’ crucifixion. The event is MC’d by the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, an accepted ”charity” group in the city even though it is made up of men who dress in drag as mock “nuns,” with twisted and filthy names like Sister Roz Erection and Sister Fawn D’amen. Much like NAMBLA, if 25 “gay”-agenda-opposing conservatives got together to invent something that would hurt the image of the Homosexual Movement, they couldn’t come up anything this “queer” (or this insensitive): 

And every year in San Francisco, at two homosexual-sadism-oriented “street fairs,” men are allowed to walk around in the streets [WARNING: OFFENSIVE LINKS] fully naked (well, they do have shoes and socks on) — without fear of arrest. A strong ally of homosexual activists, Pelosi has been careful not to criticize the unprecedentedly perverse activities that go on in her hometown, America’s “gay” Mecca. Pelosi through a spokesman even dismissed an opportunity to distance herself from this shockingly distasteful and disrespectful Folsom 2007 poster mocking da Vinci’s Last Supper: 

Maybe it’s time for Nancy Pelosi to return home, study up on the Catholicism she publicly professes yet profanes [see Catholic teaching on homosexuality HERE and abortion HERE], and then try to clean up the reputation of her city. Of course, San Franciso Mayor Gavin Newsom and the city’s supervisors have a bigger role than Pelosi in restoring decency and the rule of law to the city — and California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger could at least take measures to enforce anti-lewdness laws. But Pelosi could certainly use her waning yet significant influence to make healthy “change” in this debauched Sodom-by-the-Bay. 

Public sex: no big deal

It confirms that public sex continues at the perverse “fair” despite pledges by fair organizers and the city to stop public nudity and open sex in the streets (following exposes by AFTAH and others in previous years).

Three elitist Iowa Supreme Court Justices down, four to go.

When the ACLU is whining about how “extremists” are taking over America, it is generally a sign that something good has happened in this nation. “We the People’s” repudiation of President Barack Obama’s and the Democrats’ left-wing agenda extended to a rejection of “homosexual marriage” and other extreme policies. Iowa voters tossed out three state Supreme Court justices who were part of the 7-0 decision to impose counterfeit “same-sex marriage” on the state in 2009. Good for them!

Iowa voters have expressed their opposition to court-mandated same-sex “marriage” in their state by firing three of the state Supreme Court justices who created the new “right.”

Now those who campaigned for voters to reject Marsha Ternus, David Baker and Michael Streit say they are hoping that the message will reverberate across the country and other judges will begin reining in their activism.

“The people have spoken. Time for the elitist judges to understand there is a constitution and that government is owned by the people,” wrote Dennis S. in a forum at the Topix.com website.

Pastor Cary Gordon of Cornerstorne World Outreach in Sioux City, [Iowa] was one of the pastors who coordinated a letter to churches asking them to speak out against homosexual “marriage.”

He told WND that the letter reminded pastors of their moral obligation to cry out against evil and address arrogance and injustice in the courts.

Hundreds of pastors responded, he said.

“There were Catholics, Methodists, Wesleyans, Baptists; the list just goes on and on. It was humbling to see all those who wanted to do [their] duty,” he said.

The message from voters that resulted, the dismissal of the three justices up for retention votes, was “colossal,” he said.

“The message is very clear,” he said. “The left just doesn’t understand their error. The worst talking point they have had throughout this is ‘voting no is an abuse of the system.’”

But that’s dishonest, he asserted, because the retention vote is part of the system.

“Citizens don’t have to give a reason why they vote one way or another” he said. “The problem with the judges, we have remedied this morning.”

He said the judges who change the law, and in the case in Iowa step into the role of the executive branch of government by issuing orders to counties regarding marriage licenses, are “truly elistist,” he said.

He said he understands why progressive billionaire George Soros is traveling around giving millions of dollars to campaigns to remove voters from the process of picking and keeping judges.

“Euthanasia, the violation of property rights, the most egregious and barbaric ideas have come not from ‘we the people,’ but from elitist judges,” he said.

Judge Roy Moore, the former chief justice of the Alabama Supreme Court who runs the Foundation for Moral Law, told WND that the Iowa justices rejected the will of the people and the law they adopted.

Their removal, he said, “is a tremendously overwhelming message to the rest of the nation, that judges can be held accountable,” he said.

“This sends a message. Maybe judges won’t be as complacent and as radically activist if they realize people will rise up,” he said….

Barack Obama may be setting new highs when it comes to presidential appointments of People Practicing Homosexuality (PPH) in his administration — already more than 150, according to AP – but he’s setting new lows everywhere else. Yesterday, leftie Comedy Central “anchor” Jon Stewart referred to the Commander-in-Chief as “dude” in the course of his half-hour interview with Obama. (Obama is the first president to appear on the show.)

I agree with this comment responding to a YouTube critical of Obama’s Daily Show disaster: “Obama has diminished himself so many times enough already that even liberals don’t treat him with presidential respect.” We at AFTAH are not nearly as cool as Jon Stewart, and don’t have anything approaching his cultural sway (especially with young people), but here are some questions and comments we wish he would have delivered to the Dude-in-Chief:

• Dude, stop undermining our military by using illegal means to homosexualize it (under the existing law that only Congress can change, homosexuals are barred from serving in the Armed Forces; see www.cmrlink.org); 
• Dude, abortion is the murder of an innocent life; stop promoting it and don’t make taxpayers subsidize it;
• Dude, aren’t you trashing the Defense of Marriage Act and the Constitution by granting via Executive Order marriage-type benefits to homosexual “spouses“?;
• On the same point: dude, you really pulled the wool over America’s eyes (and Rick Warren’s…) with all that talk in the 2008 campaign about how you believe marriage should be preserved as between a man and a woman. If that were true, why didn’t you use your Bully Pulpit to criticize the homosexual activist judge who recently single-handedly overturned California’s Proposition 8 — even though this marriage-defense amendment had passed in a statewide referendum?
• Dude, homosexuality is a sin, according to the Big Guy Upstairs (the real Annointed One) who created the world, so could you stop celebrating homosexual “pride” and stop promoting “gay” identities to impressionable young people?
• Speaking of which: dude, do you get to change God’s transcendent moral code just because you’re the coolest cat who ever sat in the Oval Office (the pro-homosexuality-obsessed Jon Stewart also might ask that of himself…);
• Dude, fire Kevin Jennings. He hates Bible-believing Christians (at least those who object to his homosexual lifestyle) — and the organization he founded, GLSEN (Gay, Lesbian, Straight Education Network), promotes reckless sexual behavior and gender confusion to minors; what message are you sending by stubbornly keeping this bigoted extremist on the Obama Team?
• Dude, stop making a sham of your public profession to be a Christian by using your tremendous executive powers to distort historic Christian teachings – and promoting sexual immorality as a “right” and abortion-on-demand as a “choice”;
• Dude, before you made that YouTube video about bullied gay youth, shouldn’t you at least have looked into the massive health risks linked to gay sex? Is the proper response to bullying to promote dangerous lifestyles and identities based on unnatural and unhealthy behaviors?

• Dude, a federal bill granting “civil rights” based on homosexuality and gender confusion (ENDA, the Employmen Non-Discrimination Act) will be used to take away the rights of other citizens who disagree with homosexuality. What about their “civil rights”?; in fact, the woman you appointed to the E.E.O.C., Chai Feldblum, has essentially affirmed that the courts will grant superior rights to homosexuals at the expense of Americans’ religious liberties; “Gays win, Christians lose,” she says; is that fair in a nation founded on religious liberty?
• Dude, why don’t you expand your vision by “vetoing” Political Correctness and inviting some EX-”gays” to the White House? Wouldn’t that be consistent with your commitment to “diversity”?
• Dude, why did one of your “gay” appointees urge his fellow homosexual activists visiting the White House to lobby for coverage of transsexual “sex-change” operations under Obama-care? I feel sorry for these terribly confused people,  but should Americans be forced to pay for their grotesque, body-disfiguring operations with their hard-earned tax dollars?….

Ret. Col. Dick Black said that new rules for the military under President Obama have politicized and made more difficult the reporting of illegal homosexual misconduct.

This is Part One of our interview with decorated war hero and former Virginia state legislator Col. Dick Black. It aired on WYLL-Chicago Sept. 25, 2010. Col. Black is a decorated Marine (including a Purple Heart Medal, three Legions of Merit, the Army Staff General Badge and Naval Aviators’ Wings of Gold) who flew 269 combat helicopter missions in Vietnam. Later, he was commissioned as a Major in the JAG Corps and was responsible for criminal prosecutions. Col. Black has a unique understanding of the importance of maintaining the ban on homosexuality in the Armed Forces. He discusses the “pro-homosexual” elites in the military working to bring homosexuals into the ranks, and notes that ending the homosexual ban will result ultimately in more HIV-positive soldiers throughout the military – who end up being non-deployable. John McCain (R-AZ) for leading the fight against the Democratic leadership’s destructive and reckless attempt to homosexualize the military by ending the ban on homosexual servicemen. Republicans block bill to lift military gay ban

WASHINGTON – Senate Republicans on Tuesday blocked an effort to repeal the ban on gays from serving openly in the military, handing gay rights groups a defeat in their last chance any time soon to overturn the law known as “don’t ask, don’t tell.”

Democrats fell short of the 60 votes needed to advance the legislation, which authorized $726 billion in defense spending. The vote was 56-43.
 
Sen. Susan Collins, R-Maine, had been seen as the crucial 60th vote because she supports overturning the military ban. But Collins sided with her GOP colleagues in arguing that Republicans weren’t given sufficient leeway to offer amendments to the wide-ranging policy bill.
 
The vote fell mostly along party lines, although Sens. Blanche Lincoln and Mark Pryor, both D-Ark., sided with Republicans to block the bill. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., also voted against the measure as a procedural tactic. Under Senate rules, casting his vote with the majority of the Senate enables him to revive the bill at a later date.
 
Advocates of lifting the 17-year-old ban had been optimistic that the Democratic-controlled White House and Congress could overcome objections to repeal. The move is unpopular among Republicans, military officers and social conservatives.
 
Gay rights advocates now worry they have lost a crucial opportunity to change the law. If Democrats lose seats in elections this fall, repealing the ban will prove even more difficult — if not impossible — next year.
 
An estimated 13,000 people have been discharged under the law since its inception in 1993. Although most dismissals have resulted from gay service members outing themselves, gay rights’ groups say it has been used by vindictive co-workers to drum out troops who never made their sexuality an issue.
 
Top defense officials, including Defense Secretary Robert Gates and the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Adm. Mike Mullen, have said they support a repeal but want to move slowly to ensure changes won’t hurt morale.
