WARNING: Offensive photos depicting San Francisco’s perversion of “tolerance”

Me: Naked Black Slave on leash; You: White Master: Is this what big city liberals and pro-”gay” activists mean when they extol “diversity” and “sexual freedom”? (Note the two cops in the background who took no action against this public nudity.) We covered up the exposed genitals of the African-American man at left, who with his white, female “master” (holding leash) attended the 2009 Folsom Street Fair in San Francisco Sunday afternoon. Despite the SFPD’s promises earlier this year to crack down on public nudity at such events, police and city (and state) authorities again “tolerated” full frontal nudity at Folsom. Consensual “master-slave” “relationships” are just one of the demented perversions that fall under the sadomasochistic (”leather”) umbrella.  Powerful homosexual groups like the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force promote such deviance — see our stories HERE and HERE on the Task Force’s annual “Leather Leadership Award.” The same Task Force — which purports to support “monogamous” values for homosexuals as it injects itself into Maine’s current battle over  “same-sex marriage” — manages to vilify Christian pro-family groups as “extremists” despite its own promotion of twisted and dehumanizing “S&M” perversions.

Ironic Indignation: will Speaker Pelosi work use her unprecedented influence to stop the anti-Christian intolerance and gross incivility toward people of faith in her own congressional district?

Recently, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-San Francisco) accused Americans protesting Obama-care at congressional townhall meetings of engaging in “un-American” conduct. Wrote Speaker Pelosi August 10: “These disruptions are occurring because opponents are afraid not just of differing views — but of the facts themselves. Drowning out opposing views is simply un-American. Drowning out the facts is how we failed at this task [health care reform] for decades.”

Speaker Pelosi, representing the intolerant glass house of San Francisco, should hardly be throwing stones with her selective outrage designed to discredit Americans opposed to expansive government. In her city, “shouting down” opponents has become an art form for the Left. Below is a video by veteran homosexual activist Michael Petrelis, founding member of the homosexual extremist group ACT UP, in which Petrelis shouts down an Americans For Truth-led coalition protest last year condemning San Francisco’s allowance of public nudity and sex in the streets (i.e., at the annual deviance sex-fest known as the Folsom Street Fair). Note the vulgar Petrelis’ simulation of a sex act on a banana and his enthusiastic defense of public sex and nudity in his city. In most other cities, police put a distance between opposing sides so that each can exercise its right to speak out. The coalition press conference occurred September 27, 2008, a day before the perverse “Folsom Street Fair,” which again “tolerated” public nudity.

Folks, we have been slow to comment on all the Harvey Milk hype in our liberal-dominated popular culture — hype that is driving this push for an outrageous California bill that would effectively force students to celebrate a man famous for … being the first “out and proud” practitioner of homosexuality to win public office. (Oh boy: another marker for America’s Moral Meltdown.) The more one reads about Milk (see Dan Flynn’s excellent City Journal piece HERE) and the real story about his murder at the hands of Dan White (see caption above), the more preposterous becomes the idea of heralding him as a “civil rights” martyr.

For the media, Hollywood and academic establishments, the fix is in on championing Milk as an American hero. For the rest of us (the silent majority), he was a just a man with a sexual problem who achieved a political first in a city — San Francisco — that devolved into a Mecca for others with the same sexual sin problem. Had he not practiced deviant and unhealthy sex, nobody would care about the name Harvey Milk. Incidentally, this epitomizes what is wrong with “gay” history: it’s mostly written by those with a vested interest in normalizing aberrant and immoral sexual lifestyles.

And now, if Arnold wimps out, California children will learn some more skewed history. They will be taught to associate heroism, nobility and justice with a politician who not only crusaded for a misguided cause — state-enfored “rights” based on homosexuality — but who lied to advance that cause and his career. ‘Harvey Milk Day’ heads to Calif. gov’s desk

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (BP)–A bill that would encourage California public schools to observe “Harvey Milk Day” and to remember the deceased homosexual leader with “commemorative exercises” passed the state Senate Tuesday and is heading to Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, who hasn’t taken a position on it.

Schwarzenegger actually vetoed a similar bill last year but is under more pressure this year in light of President Obama recently awarding a Presidential Medal of Freedom posthumously to Milk, the nation’s first openly homosexual person elected to public office. Milk was a San Francisco city supervisor who was assassinated in 1978 by another supervisor. The fact that the biographical movie “Milk” was released last year only adds to the pressure on the governor.

The bill (S.B. 572) would commemorate Milk with what the state calendar calls a day of “significance.” The only other such days are the Day of the Teacher (second Wednesday of May), John Muir Day (April 21) and California Poppy Day (April 6). Harvey Milk Day would be his birthday, May 22.

Schwarzenegger actually referenced the bill on his Twitter account days ago, writing, “Give me your thoughts on the water package, Harvey Milk Day, and the prison reform bill.”

It passed the Senate, 22-14, and the House, 46-28, along party-line votes with Democrats in the majority….

Individual schools and teachers could decide on their own whether to mark the day, although many certainly would. The text of the bill says “all public schools and educational institutions are encouraged to observe.” The bill says it would be appropriate to have “exercises remembering the life of Harvey Milk, recognizing his accomplishments, and familiarizing pupils with the contributions he made to this state.”

State Sen. Mark Leno, a Democrat and the bill’s sponsor, told The San Francisco Chronicle, “It should be kept in mind that he [Milk] literally gave his life so I and others can serve in public office and that every generation of LGBT Californians can pursue their every hope, dream and aspiration.”

But Randy Thomasson, an opponent of the bill and the president of SaveCalifornia.com, said Milk’s sexual escapades make him unfit to be pushed as a role model. For weeks, Thomasson’s press releases have quoted from “The Mayor of Castro Street,” a popular biography about Milk. Milk was 48 when he died but always had a desire for teen boys and men in their early 20s, the book says. He also advocated having multiple partners, it says….

Thomasson said in a [statement:] “Reputable biographies demonstrate that Milk was a sexual predator of teens, a homosexual sex addict who advocated polygamous relationships, and a public liar who justified his deceit. Harvey Milk was and is a terrible role model for kids, including kindergarteners who would be affected by this very bad bill.”

“San Francisco is a microcosm of the illness called liberalism. It’s the least tolerant city in the country. It’s the meanest city in the country.”

Above is the twisted 2009 promotional poster for the annual Folsom Street Fair in San Francisco — a huge outdoor event celebrating sadomasochism and various perversions — at which hundreds if not thousands of men walk the streets fully or partially naked. At Folsom (scheduled for Sunday, Sept 27), it is commonplace to see men being publicly whipped and flogged to the delight of onlooking crowds. Nothing illustrates Savage’s quotation better than San Franciscans’ double standard on “tolerance.” Even many straights in the city take pride in its laissez faire embrace of Folsom and other perverse spectacles that to date have been coddled by the police, who do not enforce decency laws.

Curiously, even as they enable public nudity, the SFPD does a poor job of protecting dissenters’ rights in the city. Last year, the police failed to use their authority to allow a small Americans For Truth-led pro-family press conference condemning Folsom to go on civilly outside City Hall. Our outdoor press conference was shouted down in classic leftist fashion by veteran “queer” militant Michael Petrelis — as police ignored our request to give our free speech a forum to be heard. (In most big cities, police separate opposing protesters so that each side can exercise its free speech rights.) As you can see, Petrelis and fellow “queer” activists were allowed to shout over our press event with impunity; note his immature mimicking of oral sex and emphatic endorsement of nudity and sex in San Francisco’s streets.)

Proceeds from Folsom go to the anti-Catholic hate group Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence — which doubles as a pro-homosexual “charity” in San Francisco. The “Sisters” are homosexual men painted in drag who call themselves nuns (with perverted names) and who are insulted when you don’t treat them as a serious “religious order”; see photo of “Sister” at right and click HERE for more on the notorious church-bashing “charity.”

Let’s review … “Tolerance” for open-air perversions and public nudity — but none for peaceful, pro-family dissenters. Mean, sadistic sex in the streets, as cops stand idly by and politicians look the other way. Mean and intolerant activists like Michael Petrelis. Heck, even the “charities” are mean and blasphemous in the City by the Bay. (That includes the shocking, annual “Hunky Jesus Contest” mocking Jesus Christ every Easter Sunday.)

I commend to you my friend Dr. Michael Brown’s and the Coalition of Conscience’s response to the “gay pride” movement in Charlotte, N.C. In a speech last week to Reclaiming Oklahoma for Christ, I said that the appropriate Christian response to homosexual/”trans” activism and homosexual strugglers is a tightrope walk — balancing a witness for truth on the one side and the gracious love of Christ for sinners on the other. I too often fall off that tightrope, but Michael hangs on it as well as any pro-family leader I have observed in the last 20 years. (My only cautionary note is Brown’s use of the term “homophobia” [see this excellent NARTH analysis] — an artificial construct that is now so elastically defined that almost any rejection of homosexualist goals (including same-sex “marriage”) can be and is deemed “homophobic” by “gay” activists and the liberal media. That said, his point it correct: it is wrong to fear and hate men and women trapped in homosexuality — people who need God’s love and grace.)

How I wish that decades ago Christian leaders in Chicago had taken Dr. Brown’s “God has a better way” approach of a mobilized witness against “proud” homosexuality and the dangerous agenda that goes with it. Perhaps if they had, we wouldn’t be seeing the annual, raucous, debauched homosexuality “pride” celebrations on Chicago streets with attendees (”gay” and straight) numbering in the hundreds of thousands. The Church of Jesus Christ in America has largely abdicated its role as a bold witness for truth and Biblical morality in the culture. (And who says proclaiming the Gospel and confronting sexual sin agendas must be mutually exclusive?) I challenged Oklahoma Christians to be as aggressive in defending God’s truth about homosexuality as self-described “queer” activists are in advancing their lies (enumerated below). GOD HAS A BETTER WAY RALLY, CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA

We are here today to reach out and resist –– to reach out to the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender community with compassion, as neighbors and friends and fellow-workers, and to declare God’s great love for GLBT [gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender] people. And we are here to resist the gay activist agenda and to send a message to the nation.

As followers of Jesus, we first confess our own sins –– our lack of ardent love for homosexual men and women, our lack of compassion for their struggles, our adding to their sense of rejection through insensitive words and deeds.

We acknowledge the fact that homophobia is alive and well in some churches, and we renounce and repudiate that hateful and destructive attitude.

Our love also compels us to speak the truth, and we do not believe that all sexual orientations should be celebrated.

We do not celebrate the fact that some people believe they are women trapped in men’s bodies;

We do not celebrate the fact that two men or two women cannot reproduce their own unique offspring and that same-sex families guarantee that a child will never have either a mother or a father;

We do not celebrate the fact that some people choose to surgically mutilate their God-given organs and must take hormones for the rest of their lives just to be at peace with themselves;

We do not celebrate the sexual confusion that exists in many young people today, to the point that they can only identify themselves “as genderqueer”;

We do not celebrate the pain and brokenness that exists in the lives of many of those attending Pride Charlotte today –– completely apart from societal rejection –– and we proclaim to our GLBT friends that God has a better way, that there is a place of wholeness and transformation to be found in Jesus. And we are here for the long-term to help them on that journey.

And because of our sense of justice and rightness, we take strong exception to the gay activist agenda. We watch its trajectory, we see where it has gone and where it is going, and we say, “It stops here in Charlotte.”

Since gay pride events have been rallying points for GLBT activism, we take our stand here today and declare:

We don’t believe that elementary school children should be taught to find their “inner-trannie” (meaning their inner transgender identity) as advocated in GLSEN’s training materials.

We don’t believe that it is in the best interest of our society to seek to eradicate gender or to multiply it exponentially.

We completely reject the Los Angeles Unified School District Reference Guide when it states that Gender identity “refers to one’s understanding, interests, outlook, and feelings about whether one is female or male, or both, or neither, regardless of one’s biological sex.”

We don’t believe it is good or right for four-year-old children to have their preschool teachers read them books like One Dad, Two Dads, Brown Dad, Blue Dads or to be lined up by sneaker color rather than gender so they don’t feel “boxed in.”

We don’t believe in “Queering Elementary Education,” to use the title of a well-known book.

We believe it is outrageous when an African American woman is fired from her university position of vice-president of human resources because she writes an editorial objecting to the concept that sexual orientation is equivalent to skin color.

We believe it is outrageous for the media to cover up the gay identity of a sexual predator who repeatedly raped his adopted, five-year-old African American son and offered him for sex through the internet – for fear of making homosexual couples look bad.

We believe it is outrageous for the mayor of San Francisco to welcome warmly a public fair featuring nude, sado-masochistic displays, and to do so in the name of “diversity.”

And what does it say of our country today when our president, in the White House, could say “We are very proud of you” to a man who leads an organization devoted to making harder core pornography more readily available and who says that bestiality is fine as long as the animal doesn’t mind?

We don’t believe in fining a Christian photographer in New Mexico for politely declining to shoot a lesbian commitment ceremony, or punishing an Anglican bishop in England for choosing not to hire an openly gay youth worker, or for putting a lifetime ban on Christian leaders in Canada, forbidding them from expressing the biblical teaching on homosexual practice and threatening them with imprisonment.

We don’t believe in laws that could jail the owner of a Christian bookstore for choosing not to hire a cross-dresser as a receptionist.

We don’t believe in a Hate Crimes bill that is so flawed that even the ACLU is concerned that it could restrict freedom of speech.

We don’t believe it is right for major Charlotte-based companies like Bank of America and Wachovia and Duke Energy to pour tens of thousands of dollars into a radical organization like the Human Rights Campaign, an organization that has stated that supporters of male-female marriage are “right wing extremists” and that mandates that businesses must have special bathroom accommodations for employees undergoing sex-change surgery.

We are saddened by the fact that some of those who came out of the closet forty years now are now trying to put conservative Christians in the closet.

We don’t believe in tampering with the foundations of human society –– male-female marriage and family –– and creating a new institution previously unknown in human history.

We utterly reject the new theologies that advocate “Queering Christ” and writing “Queer Commentaries” on the Bible, and we say to Charlotte and the nation, “By God’s grace, it stops here.”

So, we say “Enough is enough” to the destructive goals of gay activism, and we say to the GLBT community, “Jesus loves you and God has a better way!”

SAN FRANCISCO — Men walked around in full frontal nudity and even engaged in oral sex acts on the streets of San Francisco at a sadomasochistic street fair here Sunday — belying reports that police and city authorities would crack down on public nudity and lewdness at the annual “Up Your Alley” event.

A volunteer, “Ron,” with the St. Joseph’s Men Society, took pictures of the raunchy event for Americans For Truth About Homosexuality (AFTAH). Ron’s photos show that despite the reports that anti-nudity and -lewdness laws would be strictly enforced at this year’s Up Your Alley street fair, they were not.

The San Francisco homosexual newspaper Bay Area Reporter reported April 30, 2009:

San Francisco police are cracking down on public sex acts at this year’s Dore Alley street fair in July and are warning organizers that if they do not control attendees, the event’s longevity will be in doubt.

The stepped up enforcement against lewd behavior at the South of Market street party, officially known as the Up Your Alley Fair, comes after two individuals filed numerous complaints with the city’s Office of Citizen Complaints against the 14 police officers assigned to patrol the 2008 event for not addressing the acts of public indecency.

The police were responding to a local secular, anonymous website, Zombietime, that exposed the Up Your Alley and Folsom Street fairs in San Francisco — showing full nudity as opposed to the covered-up exposés by Americans For Truth reporters. (AFTAH has been covering Folsom Street for years as an example of the extremist, unlawful behavior tolerated in America’s “queer” mecca.)

Police again not serious

Ron spent 50 minutes Sunday walking through the event as critical observer. He also attended last year’s Up Your Alley (UYA) fair and had this to say about comparing the two San Francisco events:

Last year, police were patrolling the UYA street fair.  I encountered several police that were walking past men masturbating and exposing themselves, many completely nude.  I asked the police why they were not enforcing the law.  One policeman stated they were there to protect the attendees, not to enforce the laws, and were passive for political reasons.  Another said that as long as the fair attendees were inside the fair they could do whatever they wanted — yet at that time I could clearly see nudity from across the street.

This year, I did not see one policeman patrolling inside the fair. I did see several police talking amongst themselves at one entrance as though they were at a cocktail party. There was no attempt to patrol or enforce the laws against public nudity, sex and drug-use.  One policeman told me that they were on “fixed posts.” I did see one guy with a “Folsom Security” vest wearing a skirt patrolling the area doing what the police were doing last year: nothing.

The “Up Your Alley” street fair — also known locally as the “Dore Alley” fair — is a smaller version of the massive “Folsom Street Fair” held every September in San Francisco. (Both events are run by the same Folsom organization, which has tangled with AFTAH, and last year attempted unsuccessfully to stop us from publishing items from their website.)

As with last year’s San Francisco Folsom Street Fair, there were signs posted at entrances to Up Your Alley warning of police prosecution against “lewd behavior.” The signs (see photo at right) read:

POLICY ON LEWD BEHAVIOR

Lewd behavior is illegal and will be interrupted.  Please respect and support our security staff.1st violation:    Verbal warning

2nd violation:    Escort to the fair exit

3rd violation:    Turn over to SFPD [San Francisco Police Dep't]

A final paragraph on the warning sign reads: “Lewd behavior in the second and third story windows in the fairgrounds will be referred directly to the SFPD for intervention.” This is in direct response to the “Zombietime” website’s graphic, unedited photos of a naked man “masturbating from second floor windows overlooking the fair,” to quote the homosexual Bay Area Reporter.

Can you imagine any other city in America where you would see a sign for a block party warning against “lewd behavior in second and third story windows”?

Homosexual oral sex on street — why not?

As with previous sadistic street fairs, police non-enforcement was so lax that deviant, homosexual sex acts were allowed to go on in the streets as fair attendees passed on by. In his 50-minute stint, Ron photographed two oral sex acts at Up Your Alley – one in which a man “serviced” two men in uniforms, and the other involving two men engaged in fellatio directly in front of a booth. No action by either the police or a private “Folsom Security” staffer was taken against the law-breakers, according to Ron.

SFPD authorities were quoted in the “gay” press as saying that a lack of action against the illegal behaviors at the 2009 Up Your Alley fair would jeopardize its continuation as an annual San Francisco event. Bay Area Reporter reported:

Due to the complaints, the police are requiring the fair organizers to develop a more stringent security plan to deal with people who break the law at the event. Greely said simply because someone is attending an enclosed street fair does not mean that laws regarding public nudity and lewd behavior do not apply.

“There is no public sex allowed, that is illegal. Nudity laws still apply and laws against urinating in public still apply,” said Greely. “Sometimes things gradually get out of hand and that is what happened here. Last year it got out of control.”

It is the first time that the police have demanded the Up Your Alley Fair organizers to address public sex acts and lewd behavior in their security plan for the event, said Greely. If they don’t rein in such behavior this year, then the police have threatened not to support the fair’s application in 2010.

“We always require security for these events. This time we are asking them to address these problems,” she said. “Hopefully they will be able to control it if they want to have the event next year.”

But given the tough language, Ron said that the lack of police non-reaction to the extreme and illegal goings on Sunday was telling.

So Much for Cracking Down: The two photos at left show a man performing oral sex on apparently two men (dressed up in uniforms) on the streets of San Francisco at the annual “Up Your Alley” street fair. Ron, our correspondent, reports that no effort was made to stop this obscene spectacle, nor was punitive action taken against these law-breakers — despite warnings months ago that the SFPD would enforce anti-lewdness and anti-nudity laws at this year’s fair.

Ho-hum … Cops Idle Amidst Deviant Law-Breakers: Ron, our pro-family observer on the scene, reports: “I shot this photo of a few cops on the sidelines ignoring what is going on just a few feet away. The smell of marijuana was everywhere. I asked a cop why they were not enforcing the nudity laws and the reply was that they had ‘fixed posts.’ There was no attempt to patrol or enforce the laws against public nudity, sex and drug-use.“

This is footage from New York City “Folsom Street East” sadomasochistic “block party” in Manhattan (nudity is covered up) — shot by a New York volunteer for Americans For Truth About Homosexuality (AFTAH). The event featured public perversions and nudity like this man tied to a St. Andrew’s cross — who, with genitals exposed, is being “electro-tortured” by another man wielding a remote control device.  Note the willing “victim” writhing in pain after his “torturer” clicks the remote. Such open public nudity and lewdness is a violation of several New York laws, yet police did nothing to intervene in this event.

Police later told AFTAH that they normally do not monitor private “block parties” ($10 gained entrance to Folsom East), but due to citizen complaints they will be more strict before issuing a permit to “Folsom Street East” organizers next year. Note: this NYC event is a copycat of the sadomasochism-celebrating “Folsom Street Fair” held annually in San Francisco. Folks, take a look at what the sadistic pervs over at Folsom Street Fair came up with for their promotional poster this year. And to think that in all their “leather pride” they think of themselves as “progressive.” (PETA might disagree.) The good news is that thanks to the efforts of Americans For Truth and others who have exposed the open-air perversions that have been allowed to take place year after year at Folsom and at another San Francisco “street fair,” police are finally promising to crack down on the nudity and public sex [see this report in California Catholic Daily]. Will House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D) denounce this new attack on the natural family, or will she continue to pander to her homosexual base– as she did by refusing to condemn a version of the above that mocked the Last Supper? Few Americans have any clue about just how deviant America’s Queer Mecca is.

Now here’s another reality about Folsom, International Mr. Leather (coming up this Memorial Day weekend in Chicago), and the über-depraved poster above: such vileness could only emerge from a “GLBT” (gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender”) movement that celebrates sexual deviance in the first place. Homosexual sodomies have more in common with the above picture than they do with natural family and marriage. In other words, domesticated homosexuality (Heather Has Two Mommies) is itself a revolutionary assault against God and Nature. And that is why sadomasochists, “genderqueers” and she-males (transsexuals half-way through their “transition”) are all welcome under the self-described “queer” umbrella. They’ll tolerate Folsom, but they won’t tolerate Californians voting in Prop 8 to defend marriage.

It’s the behavior, stupid. And it’s awfully tough for a “Sexual Liberation” movement to boot out any “perverted” group or lifestyle when homosexuality itself is a perversion that was once universally taboo. (Which makes the concept of homosexuality-based “marriage,” well, about as ridiculous as calling what is depicted in this poster a “family.”) We’re talking gradations of immorality — how utterly foolish for “conservatives” to embrace “same-sex marriage” (or “civil unions”) in the name of commitment, monogamy and tradition — or Christianity. Did you know that NAMBLA (the pedophilic North American Man/Boy Love Association) once marched in “Gay Pride” parades?

So don’t hold your breath waiting for the Human Rights Campaign or the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force or PFLAG (Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays) to denounce this sick display. They can’t, and we doubt Speaker Pelosi will either, even though it might help her politically to do so. Privately the “gay” activists may be upset at how Folsom hurts their cause strategically, i.e., from a PR perspective. But outwardly they’re far more apt to attack Carrie Prejean than their comrade-cousins on the Leather fringe.

FOLSOM STREET EVENTS® LAUNCHES POSTER DESIGNS FOR ANNUAL FAIR AND EVENTS SEASON
Folsom Street Fair poster image draws inspiration from 1950’s style household

San Francisco, CA – May 15, 2009 – Folsom Street Events has released its latest poster designs for the annual events: Bay of Pigs™, Up Your Alley®, Magnitude®, and Folsom Street Fair®. This year, the official Folsom Street Fair poster was inspired by a classic 1950’s “nuclear family” photo. In light of the passage of Proposition 8 last fall, the organization felt it was important that the Folsom Street Fair – and San Francisco – take a stand about what family is and how we experience those similar bonds in our community. Folsom Street Events wanted to juxtapose the traditional and iconic imagery from that “era of innocence” against the irreverent diversity of the fetish community.

According to Demetri Moshoyannis, Executive Director, “We are extremely pleased with the outcome of this poster, and we are looking forward to a particularly inspirational event season. The poster is an attempt to portray an alternative to the archetypal image of the family; it’s our way of saying: ‘This is our family.’ It is a distinctive representation of leather and fetish diversity with people of all genders, sexual orientations, ages, interests, etc.”

According to Russell Brown, Administration and Special Projects Manager, who managed the creative process of producing the poster, “I really wanted a fun poster, maybe a little bit lighter than what Folsom has produced in the past with the hope of attracting some potential new fair-goers who may have been reluctant before. Especially with the downturn of the economy, I wanted the poster to reflect the three tenants of Folsom Street Fair: Fun, Frolic and Fetish.”

The poster was made possible in part by Brian Mills of Titan Media who brilliantly photographed the images. Titan Media generously volunteered their studio for the photo shoots. Additionally, all of the models volunteered their time, including: Troy Weakley (“dad”), Bianka Stevens (“mom”), Tony Buff of TitanMen.com (“son”), Sparkly Devil (“daughter”), Trevor Wayne (“younger son”) and Justin Morgan (“family dog”), all of whom brought energy and life to the picture.

This mob assault occurred following the passage of Proposition 8 restoring traditional marriage in California. Homosexual activists are deriding the successful ballot measure as “Prop H8″ (hate)  — but look at the hatred on display below in what is supposedly America’s most “tolerant” city. I went to the Castro (the homosexual district of San Francisco) like we usually do on Friday nights.

Normally, we sit on 18th and Castro, and someone plays the guitar, and we all worship God.

Sometimes a person will yell at us, or maybe a few. Sometimes people will ignore us. Sometimes people will let us pray with them.

This time was not a normal night. It was the first time we’d been back in the Castro to do our normal outreach since California Proposition 8, which defined marriage as “one man with one woman,” was passed. We played the guitar and sang together and worshiped the Lord. After just singing and worshiping God for a while, Roger decided that we should all hold hands in a circle and continue singing. So we did.

Someone (actually a person who came up and hugged and kissed some of us whom he knew from the past) convinced some people that we were there to protest against the “No on 8″ campaign.

Then some guy who was dressed up like one of the sisters — The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence is a group of men who dress up like nuns and call themselves the spiritual authority of the Castro — took a curtain-type thing (Which I think they use to curse people) and wrapped it around us.

Then a crowd started gathering. We began to sing “Amazing Grace,” and basically sang that song the whole night. (At some points we also sang “Nothing but the Blood of Jesus” and “Oh the Blood of Jesus.”) At first, they just shouted at us, using crude, rude, and foul language and calling us names like “haters” and “bigots.” Since it was a long night, I can’t even begin to remember all of the things that were shouted and/or chanted at us. Then, they started throwing hot coffee, soda and alcohol on us and spitting (and maybe even peeing) on us.

Then, a group of guys surrounded us with whistles, and blasted them inches away from our ears continually. Then, they started getting violent and started shoving us. At one point a man tried to steal one of our Bibles. Chrisdene noticed, so she walked up to him and said, “Hey, that’s not yours, can you please give it back?” He responded by hitting her on the head with the Bible, shoving her to the ground, and kicking her. I called the cops, and when they got there, they pulled her out of the circle and asked her if she wanted to press charges. She said, “No, tell him I forgive him.” Afterwards, she didn’t rejoin us in the circle, but she made friends with one of the people in the crowd, and really connected heart to heart.

Roger got death threats. As the leader of our group, people looked him in the eyes and said, “I am going to kill you,” and they were serious. A cop heard one of them, and confronted him. (This part is kinda’ graphic, so you should skip the paragraph if you don’t want to be offended.) It wasn’t long before the violence turned to perversion. They were touching and grabbing me, and trying to shove things in my butt, and even trying to take off my pants – basically trying to molest me. I used one hand to hold my pants up, while I used the other arm to hold one of the girls. The guys huddled around all the girls, and protected them. Soon after, the cops came and stood between us and the mob.

When it was getting more heated, the cops [said warnings] like, “You guys should leave.” and Roger said “We want to stay.” Someone tried to steal my backpack, but I tapped a cop on the shoulder and said “Hey, that’s my bag.” and he got it from him and gave it to me. Others weren’t so lucky. Probably half our team got their jackets stolen. Eventually, as the crowd was getting more and more uncontrollable, the cops were afraid for our lives, so they escorted us to our van. (The cops were very nice to us from start to finish.) Our van was parked pretty far [away] because it was hard to find parking that day. As the cops escorted us, the mob followed us, until the cops formed a line and held off the people so we could drive away.

We took the long way home, just in case anyone tried to follow us. When we got home, we prayed and sang more, and then prayed over each other. Please know my heart. All of what we do is for the Love of Jesus Christ, and the love for those in the Castro. The Bible says to love God, and then love people. We can only love because He loved us first. We can’t hate the people because they are just broken and blinded by the spirit of this age. Our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against Principalities and Powers. It’s not a political thing, we just love the people. This is the raw footage of the walk from 18th and Castro Street to our car. It was only the very tail end of the night and says that we were all about Prop 8… when in reality we had nothing to do with Prop 8 this night.

The San Francisco Chronicle ran this photo Oct. 11 by photographer Mike Kepka showing first-grade students from a local public grade school cheering their teacher’s lesbian “wedding.” This homosexual “marriage” “field trip” occurred just eight days after the Chronicle editorialized against the “fear tactics” used by pro-Proposition 8 forces in defending their proposed amendment preserving marriage in California as between a man and a woman. The newspaper had mocked a Prop 8 TV ad on the adverse effects of legal “gay marriage,” stating: “People would be sued on the basis of their personal beliefs! Churches would lose their tax-exempt status! Gay marriage would be taught in public schools!” The troubling photo above certainly contradicts the Chronicle editorial’s assertion that, “Public schools certainly would teach that same-sex marriage is legal, and the history behind it. But the value judgments surrounding matters of marriage and family would remain in the domain of home and church as they are today.” The school’s principal justified the lesbian-wedding excursion as a “field trip” by describing it as a “teachable moment” for the young students. First Graders Taken to San Francisco City Hall for Gay ‘Wedding’

SAN FRANCISCO, October 11 /Christian Newswire/ — In the same week that the No on 8 campaign launched an ad that labeled as “lies” claims that same-sex marriage would be taught in schools to young children, a first grade class took a school-sponsored trip to a gay wedding. Eighteen first graders traveled to San Francisco City Hall Friday for the wedding of their teacher and her lesbian partner, The San Francisco Chronicle reported. The school sponsored the trip for the students, ages 5 and 6, taking them away from
their studies for the same-sex wedding. According to the Yes on 8 campaign, the public school field trip demonstrates that the California Supreme Court’s decision to legal same- sex marriage has real consequences.

“Taking children out of school for a same-sex wedding is not customary education. This is promoting same- sex marriage and indoctrinating young kids,” said Yes on 8-ProtectMarriage.com Campaign Co-Manager Frank Schubert. “I doubt the school has ever taken kids on a field trip to a traditional wedding,” Schubert said.

When asked by the Yes on 8 campaign, The San Francisco Chronicle reporter said she did not know if the school had ever sponsored a field trip for students to a traditional wedding. Telling the Chronicle that the field trip was “a teachable moment,” the school’s principal believes it is perfectly appropriate for first graders to attend a same-sex wedding. Officials in other school districts disagree.

“Prop. 8 protects our children from being taught in public schools that ’same-sex marriage’ is the same as traditional marriage,” said Santa Ana Unified School District board member Rosemarie “Rosie” Avila. “We should not accept a court decision that results in public schools teaching our kids that gay marriage is okay. That is an issue for parents to discuss with their children according to their own values and beliefs. It shouldn’t be forced on us against our will,” Avila added.

The lesbian teacher’s wedding was officiated by San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom. Newsom is featured in a Yes on 8 television ad, released last week, in which he arrogantly declares of same-sex marriage: “The door’s wide open now. It’s gonna happen, whether you like it or not.”

The Yes on 8 campaign’s ads explain that if the voters do not overturn the California Supreme Court’s same- sex marriage ruling, teachers will be required to teach young children that there is no difference between gay marriage and traditional marriage.

“It’s totally unreasonable that a first grade field trip would be to a same-sex wedding,” said Chip White, Press Secretary for Yes on 8. “This is overt indoctrination of children who are too young to understand it.”

The trip underscores the Yes on 8 campaign’s message that unless Prop. 8 passes, children will be taught about same-sex marriage in public schools. “Not only can it happen, it has already happened,” White said.

Four judges force same-sex marriage on Connecticut

In yet another tragic usurpation of legislative authority, four judges in the Connecticut Supreme Court today redefined marriage for all the residents of that state. Four agenda-driven judges have distorted the Biblical truth of marriage as the union of one man and one woman only – the truth that has been recognized by every thriving society since the beginning of civilization.

By a 4-3 majority, the Connecticut Supreme Court today ruled that the Connecticut law banning same-sex marriage, a law put in place by the citizens’ elected representatives, was unconstitutional. Connecticut thereby joins Massachusetts and California as the only states that have rejected the truth of marriage by accepting “same-sex marriages.” In both of those other states, as well, same-sex marriage was forced upon citizens by four out-of-control judges acting contrary to the expressed will of the people.

The inevitable ramifications of these decisions are frightening! Public and private schools will be forced to teach that marriage between two men or two women is normal. Churches that refuse to perform same-sex marriages will stand to lose their tax-exempt status.

Family Institute of Connecticut Condemns Supreme Court Decision; Calls for Direct Vote by the People

The Family Institute of Connecticut (FIC) today condemned the state Supreme Court’s decision to impose same-sex “marriage” by judicial fiat. FIC rallied three thousand state residents just two weeks ago to protest the judicial usurpation of democracy and to demand the right held by 25 other states—to let the people decide!

FIC executive director Peter Wolfgang stated, “Even a legislature as liberal as ours has heeded the will of the people and said no to same-sex ‘marriage’ year after year. With today’s ruling the Supreme Court has said to the people of Connecticut that ‘No, even this victory will be denied to you. We, your robed masters, will decide the big questions of politics and you little people will have no choice but to bend to our will.’ By ruling in this way the Court has undermined its own legitimacy and called into question whether we are still a free and self-governing people in Connecticut. But we will not bow to the dictates of a handful of self-appointed philosopher kings. If the Court will not respect its proper role to interpret, not make, law then we will seek other remedies. We will work for a majority “yes” vote this November 4th to hold a state constitutional convention and will fight to get a direct initiative law out of the convention. And then we will put a question on the ballot to allow the public—not our robed masters—to decide once and for all if marriage will be protected in our state constitution as the union of a man and a woman.

“Connecticut does not want judges to impose same-sex ‘marriage’ by undemocratic fiat. Connecticut wants the same right exercised by 28 other states: to decide by direct initiative whether marriage will be protected or redefined. We need the right that exists in all but 19 states: to let the people have direct say over our laws. The Court’s willingness to undemocratically impose same-sex ‘marriage’ on Connecticut has made it necessary for us to demand the right to Let the People Decide. And that is why thousands of us will vote ‘yes’ for a constitutional convention on November 4th.”

SLAVERY IS BACK — IN “PROGRESSIVE” SAN FRANCISCO (click on photos, twice, to enlarge). The “partners” in an African-American “master-slave relationship” mug for the camera (genitalia is covered up) outside the Folsom Street Fair in San Francisco Sept. 28, 2008. Note the leash and collar allowing the hand-cuffed “slave” to be led around like a dog. And the homosexual lobby and its leftist enablers call this return to (consensual) slavery “progressive”? (The second-largest homosexual organization, the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force — which has given large amounts of money to defeat the Prop 8 amendment to restore traditional marriage in California — gives out a “Leather Leadership Award” at its “Creating Change” conferences.)

Note that this public nudity occurred outside the police-protected boundaries of Folsom (see metal fence in background, blocking the street at an entrance point). San Francisco police — hence law and order — are totally compromised in this “queer” Mecca, where outlandish behaviors and various human degradations — including men urinating on and in one another — are celebrated as mere “orientations.” Apparently it’s no big deal in House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D) congressional district to see men strutting around the city completely naked — and Pelosi won’t denounce it (or help to stop it) for fear of alienating her powerful homosexual constituency. We were told that there are other public events in San Francisco that “tolerate” full nudity — but Folsom alone joins that with its pornographic promotion of homosexual sex clubs and depraved, promiscuous behaviors (e.g., orgiastic “pig sex”), which constitute a public health hazard and help spread disease worldwide.

Folks, this year we thought it would be beneficial for other pro-family leaders and advocates to join Americans For Truth in venturing to the world’s most famous “queer” Mecca, San Francisco, to observe the incredible goings-on at the annual “Folsom Street Fair.” Folsom is a sadomasochistic street celebration occupying 13 blocks — featuring rampant full public nudity and public whippings — all countenanced by city officials and the SFPD, which also recruits at the “fair.” Like last year, we witnessed sex acts on the streets, but a Folsom spokesman assured us that they are cracking down on that. Folsom is also the third largest outdoor event in California — drawing homosexual, heterosexual and bisexual people who are into various sexual “fetishes,” such as the “master-slave” duo above.

This was also the first year that we worked with other pro-family advocates to protest Folsom: the St. Joseph’s Men Society fielded a few men with our sign across the street from one of the busy entrance points to the “fair.” (See photo at right; St. Joseph’s president Anthony Gonzalez is holding the “Vote YES on Prop 8 sign in his right hand while talking to a reporter.) Thanks to all who helped out at the protest and our coalition press conference — where we were shouted down by intolerant homosexual militants as police stood passively by.

As we’ve said many times, we find it newsworthy that this and another extreme “leather” event occur annually in the district of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D), who is third in line to President of the United States. Over and over we were told by San Franciscans (leather advocates and otherwise) that Folsom is just part of what makes this a uniquely tolerant and quirky city — and if we didn’t like it, why don’t we just stay away? The answer is that we want people across the USA and the world to understand what “tolerance” has become in this Democratic-led city — and where that “gay agenda” that homosexual activists keep telling us doesn’t exist ultimately leads. Is This Headed for a Town Near You?

How does one put into words what I witnessed on Sunday, September 28th in San Francisco?  How does one explain men walking down city streets totally nude, bare-breasted and bare-bottomed women, public whippings and sex acts?  San Francisco’s Folsom Street Fair was just as depraved as reports I’d read of past ‘fairs.’ Why would a city allow this to happen? We are told it’s ‘tolerance’ that requires them to turn a blind eye to such depravity. Although they do not call it depravity, they call it being ‘progressive.’  What new acts will ‘tolerance’ allow in the future?

Before we even entered the barricaded-off 13-block area we began encountering nude men.  It was somewhat refreshing to see two young men trying to escape the assault on their senses.  As they tried to slip down an alleyway to get away from the Folsom Street Fair area, they encountered a nude man who had just walked passed a San Francisco Police Department mobile command unit and returned to his van parked in the alleyway outside the fair.  One of the guys said, “Another nude dude.  Let’s get out of here.  We don’t need to be assaulted like this.”  At the ‘charity whipping’ site, I also heard comments such as: “This is wrong.”  “This just isn’t right.”  Not everyone agrees with all that goes on at the Folsom Street Fair.

There were many youth at the fair, but also men and women ‘who were old enough to know better.’ We saw some children and a lot of people with their dogs, even though there was a warning against bringing children or pets because of the adult-oriented themes. I wondered why the organizers equated children and pets. There was also a sign at the main entrances which said “Nudity is Illegal.”  Naked individuals walked right by, apparently without noticing the signs.  The San Francisco police stood by and did nothing. One 29-year-veteran of the force said during an interview that they were told to ignore what was going on.  “You don’t know the political climate,” he told us.

As Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth, Linda Harvey of Mission America and I snapped pictures and video footage, we approached the ‘Pan’s Devils’ Horns’ booth. That’s where trouble began as some asked Peter if he was with the religious right. Peter answered, “Well, I’m not from the left.”  At that point one man began following us shouting and pointing “This is the religious right. They’ve come to take our civil rights away. They are taking pictures. They want to shut down Folsom Street Fair. They want to ban same-sex marriage.” He followed us for several blocks shouting and pointing, others were beginning to look our direction.  At one point he shoved Peter and Peter told him not to do that again or he’d call the police. We left the fair at the first exit we came to, then re-entered at another location to once again document the depravity. A side note here:  there were a lot of ‘normal looking people’ taking pictures.

Many heterosexual couples, both married and unmarried, attended Folsom Street Fair. There were many ‘gay couples,’ across the spectrum in age.  We were told that many bisexuals were there. Ironically, HIV prevention booths abounded – I guess they haven’t read Centers for Disease Control reports which point to men who have sex with men as the category with the largest number of HIV/AIDS cases.  The CDC has also said that bisexuals are the bridge for AIDS into the heterosexual community.

Additional booths included the San Francisco Public Health Department (two large penises were outside the booth and young women were lining up to have their pictures taken with them), there was a booth where one could get free Hepatitis A and Hepatitis B shots, the San Francisco Chronicle and New York Times had booths, PFLAG (Parents, Family and Friends of Lesbian and Gays) was also there.  Peter was able to get a picture of two naked men in front of the PFLAG booth. The San Francisco Police Department also had a recruiting booth right in the middle of all this illegal activity. There was a booth where religious sex toys were for sale.  Some of these were named God’s Rod, Jesus’ Baby Butt Plug and Jesus on the Cross.

I also noticed several “No on Prop 8” stickers being worn including by the attendant of the PFLAG booth.  Our detractors said there was no way we could connect the opponents of Prop 8 to Folsom Street Fair – I think they made the case for us.  Many Obama shirts and stickers were seen throughout the ‘fair.’

Booze flowed freely and the smell of dope was everywhere.

For about the last hour Peter interviewed Susan Wright, the founder of the National Coalition for Sexual Freedom (NCSF) and the spokesperson for Folsom Street Fair. Linda and I both taped the interview.  Susan made the claim that for those involved in BDSM (Bondage, Discipline, Sadism, Masochism) it was their sexual orientation. In the future NCSF will work on getting BDSM added to sexual orientation laws.  (proof that the addition of sexual orientation to laws opens the door to special rights for those involved in more and more bizarre lifestyle choices)  She said that any sexual activity should be allowable between consenting adults. [Editor's note: Wright said that includes people who like to be urinated on and other revolting and unhealthy practices as part of their "consexual" sexual activity.--LaBarbera] Ms. Wright did not believe that those under 18 are able to consent and did not support efforts to lower age of consent laws.  She opposes child pornography, but other forms of pornography and obscenity are okay. Proposition 8 – the Marriage Protection Amendment — is strongly opposed by her.

How quickly America has fallen into this pit.  Susan Wright views today’s BDSM movement as where the so-called gay rights movement was twenty years ago.  [A transcript of the Wright interview is forthcoming.] She is predicting that in that time span Bondage, Discipline, Sado Masochism will become a civil right protected by law. Can you imagine the sex ed classes of that day?  School children will be taught that, if your partner consents, it is okay to urinate and defecate on him or her; it’s okay to whip or tie up your partner . . . anything goes as long as it is between consenting adults.  If a parent doesn’t want their children exposed to those ideas, tough, they are infringing on the civil rights of those engaging in BDSM.

SAN FRANCISCO, Cal., Sept. 30 — The need to pass California’s Proposition 8, upholding marriage between one man and one woman, has never been greater in my view after spending an afternoon at the San Francisco Folsom Street Fair on September 28.With well over 100,000 attendees, it’s unfortunately the third largest street event in California.

Folsom Street displayed the fully ripened rotten fruit of ‘tolerance’ and showed where it takes us: toward public nudity, public sex and consensual sex violence. The goal of same sex ‘marriage’ is the legitimate-appearing sister with an ugly evil twin: the movement toward total pansexual license throughout our culture. And concern for the effect on kids? Out the window.

We observed many buttons and signs urging ‘no’ votes on Prop 8 and also many signs supporting Barack Obama. This is the kind of wise public policy we can anticipate as a Folsom Fair mentality gains legitimacy, which it clearly has in San Francisco.

Along with the heads of several other pro-family groups, I spent four excruciating hours walking through the fair, documenting its horrors. One might ask, why bother? Two reasons. Here in San Francisco, most no longer have a problem with such outlandish behavior. These radical, misguided and lost people need to be challenged out of their comfort with this depravity. Can any of them be pulled from this fire?

But local officials seem entrenched in the endorsement of depravity. Mayor Gavin Newsom issued a letter last week congratulating the Fair on its 25 year anniversary. U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, third in line for the presidency, represents San Francisco but she has yet to utter a word of criticism against the Fair, even with its history of virulent anti-Christian blasphemy.

A second concern, at least as important, is the need to warn the rest of America: sit out this dance with the homosexual agenda, and Folsom Street and its offspring will be on your doorstep, beckoning your children, within a short time. Already, some of these elements—nudity, sex acts, sado-masochism– are popping up in the growing number of street parties and ‘gay’ pride parades around the country.

The folks in San Francisco are woefully out of touch with mainstream America. Do you find whipping, being tied up (bondage) and master-slave role playing just normal variations of sexual behavior? We didn’t think so. But we had a chance to talk with the spokesperson for a national sado-masochism group, Susan Wright, who believes conservatives are few and far between, greatly eclipsed by a majority who accept these behaviors. She also thinks sado-masochism is an inborn “sexual orientation,” worthy at some point of legal recognition. In other words, some people are genetically wired to desire being whipped or chained for sexual pleasure. Current sexual orientation policies could be utilized to establish this new identity category, she believes.

What we witnessed at the Fair was almost beyond belief. Half or more of the crowd consisted of homosexual men, some fully nude. The smell of marijuana was everywhere. Masters and their ‘slaves’ strolled about. One man and woman were wrapped in pythons. Many college age kids and young adults were present.

We witnessed at least one open sex act, and many more episodes of male-to- male groping. Several vendor areas featured sado-masochistic acts. At one, they held a ‘charity whipping.’ The Fair itself donates much of its revenue to charity, which evidently excuses the perversion. Some goes to the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, the twisted men-in-drag so infamous for mocking Christianity, heterosexuality and the Catholic church. The ‘sisters’ collect the entrance fee donations at the Fair gates. When I asked for an interview, one of them declined when he learned I was with a conservative Christian group.

So at the Society of Janus whipping booth, we witnessed a girl and a guy tied up and flogged. The girl, nude from the waist up, looked like she was in real pain. There was a huge group congregated around this area. I was truly sickened in an atmosphere of palpable spiritual evil.

At other booths, blasphemous sex toys were on sale. One could purchase items named after the Father, Jesus, Mary and so on. Homosexual pornography was available everywhere. And one vendor, ‘Pan’s Devil Horns,’affixed horns onto the heads of eager fair-goers.

It was at this booth that we experienced an encounter with the truly dark side, as we were spotted and identified as Fair critics. A tall, scantily- dressed older guy pointed at Peter LaBarbera, president of Americans for Truth, and shouted, ‘It’s the religious right! They want to shut down the Fair! They’re here to take away your rights and to stop gay marriage!’ A sea of heads turned as this man followed us relentlessly for several blocks and continued to shout and point. He shoved LaBarbera, who told him to stop or he would call the police. When asked what his name was, our harasser replied, ‘Beelzebub!’ Indeed.

Another episode of overt spiritual warfare occurred after we exited the Fair to avoid our pursuer and re-entered at another gate (the Fair encompasses thirteen city blocks). We spotted a group of what appeared to be young teens laughing and dancing, apparently quite intoxicated. One boy was dressed as a girl. We approached them and asked if we could talk. One insisted he was eighteen; another said twenty. They looked more like fifteen or sixteen.

In an extended conversation with the ‘eighteen-year-old,’ I was told his parents didn’t care what he did. He held a triple X-rated ‘gay’ porn DVD evidently obtained at the Fair. Yet he was eager to talk to me, insisting he did not want to be homosexual and had tried to stop since he was eleven. I challenged him: then why are you here? Do you really want to stop? If so, don’t come to events like this. He said he just couldn’t help himself. I gently urged him to re-think his identity—that God had made him a guy, wonderfully able to have a relationship with a girl. He nodded. ‘I know,’ he said.

Just at that moment, before we could continue, the youth’s ‘boyfriend’ began screeching insults and obscenities at me. ‘You’re an *&##!’ He continued this screeching rant, growing louder and more out of control, until finally, a passer-by said, ‘Oh, leave her alone!’ We never continued the dialogue, because the group of boys disappeared into the crowd.

We spoke with police twice, after noting their consistent failure to detain any of the naked men strolling by. I asked a policeman why they didn’t do something about the nudity. He told us that his supervisors had given instructions to leave it alone. We got truly mixed signals about the legality of public nudity and public sex acts. Liberty Counsel researched California law and found that three California state laws (Sections 311.6, 313 and 314 of the California Code) applied to public indecency, with jail time of up to six months. And signs going into the Fair announced, ‘Nudity is Illegal.’ With so many openly nude men, this was almost comical.

Confusion or deception abounds. We were told by Susan Wright, our sado-masochism activist, that nudity is not illegal. One TV reporter asked why we focused solely on Folsom Street, since there’s a huge race called Bay to Breakers in San Francisco in the spring where many of the race participants, both men and women, are fully nude. So much for the rule of law in California.

In years past, young children were observed in the Folsom Fair crowd. Our group only spotted one stroller with a child this year— one too many– but there were definitely many teens.  Signs and written notices at the entrances gave heightened warnings about the attendance of children, stronger than previous years, perhaps due to criticism by pro-family groups.

Among other vendors was the San Francisco Department of Health, with two huge penises in their booth, presumably so their public health oversight could be taken seriously. AIDS education groups were also present, using taxpayer funds wisely.  Also on hand was one of my personal favorite groups, PFLAG, Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays. While we will not be able to show them to you in a pro-family context, it was easy to photograph nude men posing for cameras in front of the PFLAG booth. PFLAG is a consistent advocate of homosexuality and gender change among teens and even children.

The New York Times and the San Francisco Chronicle had booths also, casting aside all pretense of objectivity.  And the San Francisco Police Department had a recruiting booth, so apparently the blind can continue to lead the blind.  I wonder: were nude men welcome to fill out applications?

By 6 pm, the vendors were closing down, intoxicated and high attendees were staggering away, and trash was blowing everywhere. We were wrapping up an extended interview LaBarbera had with Susan Wright. It was surreal, talking with an apparently coherent official spokesperson for this depravity. She firmly believes that children should not be exposed to this, that there are ethics about sexual experimentation and sado-masochism, that all these radical behaviors can be ‘managed’ carefully. I felt like shouting at her: look around you. This dark and depressing climate is the predictable result of ‘progressive’ ideas.

This de-humanization is actually regressive. There’s nothing new here: it’s primitive tribalism and the sins of the Old Testament pagan nations reincarnated, spiraling downward into barbarism. Only the sane and discerning can save California and the rest of America from its debased exports.

Christ came to save people from drowning in their own excess, but in the City by the Bay, drowning is not only apparently acceptable, it is eagerly pursued. So sad.

San Francisco politicians voted to ban the sale of cigarettes in city drug stores — while they extol the Folsom Street Fair with its illegal public orgies, celebration of hyper-promiscuous homosexual “pig sex,” and promotion of disease-spreading gay sex clubs like “Blow Buddies” and Steamworks. Meanwhile, Folsom doubles as an AIDS fundraiser and the San Francisco Department of Public Health has two booths at the event — go figure.

Statement by Peter LaBarbera, President, Americans For Truth, at press conference condemning San Francisco Folsom Street Fair, Sept. 26, 2008, San Francisco City Hall:

I want you to forget for a moment that the four people who stand before you are religious or that we represent conservative organizations diametrically opposed to the GLBT movement.  Discount that three of us come from outside the Bay area and put aside, if you can, the stereotypes that some of you have of the so-called “Religious Right.”

Now consider what we are here to expose and criticize.  Every year – in fact, twice a year now – San Francisco plays eager host to street fairs like the Folsom Street Fair this Sunday that feature the following (most of which I have personally witnessed as a critical observer):

•    Rampant public nudity including men walking the streets in nothing but their socks and sneakers;
•    Public street orgies in which men engage in heinous sex acts – as depicted on these enlarged photos [blow-ups of AFTAH web photos like those HERE and HERE] — as thousands of fairgoers walk by;
•    Public sadistic whippings, acts of “consensual” degradation including men urinating on one another – for pleasure — and “master-and-slave” partners or perverse arrangements in which one partner plays the role of an animal, led around on a dog-collar by his “master”;
•    Blatant anti-Christian bigotry – e.g., the “Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence” — transvestite mock “nuns” who work closely with Folsom; and religious-themed “sex toys” sold by vendors;
•    Public health hazards: Folsom promotes local gay sex clubs like “Blow Buddies” and Steamworks, a Berkeley bathhouse where men go for anonymous sexual encounters with other men (including condomless, “barebacking” anal sex) that spread diseases;
•    Police blame their inaction amidst all the illegal, debauched acts on politicians who tell them not to intervene or enforce the law. At the same time, the SFPD recruits at this sordid affair [the police have a booth at Folsom again this year] — an all-time low and embarrassment for men in blue everywhere whose mission is supposed to be “law enforcement.”

As our nation deals with a severe economic crisis – in the swirl of intense media glare – America faces an equally grave moral crisis that flies under the politically correct media’s radar. In the name of “tolerance and diversity,” we are casting aside all boundaries, some dating back to the beginning of recorded time. In that sense, redefining marriage outside its natural male-female state — and  Folsom’s shocking, police-protected public perversions — are mere markers of a nation in steep decline, a nation that is leaving God behind.

It is no coincidence that the man who took it upon himself four years ago to illegally and radically redefine marriage – Mayor Gavin Newsom – now enthusiastically welcomes the Folsom Street Fair with its unbelievable public depravities – an event that makes San Francisco a subject of ridicule and opprobrium the world over.

Why is it that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi – who considers herself a faithful Catholic — refused to denounce the blatant anti-Christian bigotry of last year’s Folsom Street Fair with its artwork turning da Vinci’s “Last Supper” painting of Christ and his disciples into a sadomasochistic, fetish-celebrating farce?

And how is it that a city that ostensibly cares so much about protecting citizens’ health that it bans the sale of cigarettes in pharmacies, still allows the proliferation of sex clubs where men plop down ten bucks or so to engage in anonymous, reckless sexual encounters with complete strangers? We here today say, close down “Blow Buddies,” Steamworks and other disease-spreading gay sex clubs — and in the process help preserve the lives of homosexual men, not to mention the female spouses of men on the “down low.”

There is no excuse for any city – no matter how “tolerant” – to allow the public sex and nudity documented on these and countless other photos. The way back from anarchy is a return to enforcement of the rule of law. No special interest group – including homosexuals – deserves the “special right” to redefine nature and marriage itself and put its wants above the law.

Anthony Gonzalez of the St. Joseph’s Men’s Society speaks at pro-family press conference at the San Francisco City Hall — denouncing the uber-perverse Folsom Street Fair, which will occur Sunday in the “gay” Mecca. Earlier, homosexual militants led by veteran “AIDS activist” Michael Petrelis sought to disrupt our press event. Petrelis and other “queer” advocates defended public sex on city streets and even said parents should be allowed to bring their young children to Folsom — despite the rampant public nudity and street orgies at the annual sadism-celebrating fair.

SAN FRANCISCO, Cal., Sept. 26 — Well, folks, this is what it boils down to in the nation’s “queer” Mecca: the same homosexual activists who have no problem tolerating public nudity, sex acts and sadomasochistic whippings on their city streets could not tolerate a simple pro-family press conference on the steps of City Hall.

Yes, the “Gaystapo” tried to shout down our press event this morning — prancing in front of our speakers, chanting that we were “bigots” and shouting over us throughout. Right off the bat, veteran homosexual “AIDS activist” Michael Petrelis jumped in front of me and our big banner that read, “Stop Public Nudity & Street Orgies” — demanding an answer as to whether I oppose ”gays being hanged in Iran.” When I said yes, I oppose that, Petrelis was not appeased, and continued to jump in front of me and generally be obnoxiously disruptive (a “gay” militant specialty, it seems).

Maybe the SFPD is not used to people taking on homosexual activism, but the same police who allowed us to set up near the City Hall made no effort to separate the censorious “queer” militants from us and prevent them from disrupting our press conference. This is the fair way to approach controversies and in most cities, I think, this is how police would have handled the situation. The idea is to allow each side to express its views, thereby honoring the First Amendment (and real tolerance). In other words, as I told Petrelis, you’re free to hold your own media event — but you are intolerant if you insist on shouting down ours. This is a civics lesson that many on the Left just can’t seem to learn.

Curiously, even members of the “media” joined in the catcalling — including a rotund fellow shooting pictures for a publication called the San Francisco Sentinel. A few non-”gay” media showed up, including a reporter for the San Francisco Chronicle (which, with the New York Times, has a booth at the Folsom Street Fair). We’ll see what kind of stories they run if any.

Interestingly, after Petrelis got the answer to his question, I asked him one of my own: does he support allowing public nudity and orgies on San Francisco city streets? Not hesitating a second, he shouted that yes, he does. (We’ll have his exact remarks for you later.) In fact, none of the angry homo-fascists who were busy disrupting our free speech opportunity agreed with us (or would say so anyway) that public nudity and public sex is wrong and that California’s decency laws should be enforced.

Wow, call me naive, but I was expecting that at least one reasonable guy from the “other side” of this Culture War would agree with us that, yes, strutting around buck naked and engaging in fellatio on public streets is not a fundamental “right” — even in San Francisco! By the way, California Assemblyman Mark Leno (D) posed for a photo in front of our anti-public-nudity sign; I shouted out a question to him, asking if he thought public nudity and sex on city streets is acceptable, but he did not answer. (No suprise there: Leno wrote an even more enthusiastic welcoming letter to Folsom than Mayor Gavin Newsom.)

What about the children?
Worse than our loud opponents’ support for public sex was that not one of them — in a post-press conference discussion – would agree with me that children should be banned completely from the raunchy Folsom Fair, even if their parents want to bring them there (as happened last year; see young boy in black jacket in the photo above). One woman, presumably a lesbian activist, would not accept my solution that police could simply bar entry to the Folsom Fair of any minor at the entry areas to Folsom.

The homosexual crowd was agitated to the point of distraction at our three small “Vote YES on Prop 8″ signs in support of California’s proposed constitutional amendment defining marriage as what it is: between one man and one woman. I don’t get it: were they thinking we would not voice support for the campaign to preserve historic marriage in California, or was it just that we expressed our pro-marriage sentiments at an event not designed specifically to defend Prop 8? As I explained to one strident opponent, yes, we still believe that there is a Homosexual Agenda, and yes, we believe that both the radical Folsom Street Fair and the revolutionary “gay” redefinition of marriage are part of that agenda.

Anyway, homo-fascism is alive and well in San Francisco, and “tolerance gone wild” is the norm, at least for the decidedly intolerant homosexual militants who gathered in front of our press conference to yell at us about our supposed intolerance. We’ll soon have more photos and another firsthand report from Linda Harvey, and next week a story on the dreadful Folsom event.

Said LaBarbera: “Mayor Newsom sent a welcome letter to Folsom participants. When AFTAH published it on our website, Folsom organizers sent a cease-and-desist letter demanding that we take it down. So it appears that either Mayor Newsom or Folsom organizers are not so ‘proud’ of this vile ‘street fair’ after all.”

LaBarbera said most Americans would be stunned to learn what goes on at Folsom under the cover of police protection:

• Rampant public nudity including men walking the streets in nothing but their socks and sneakers;
• Public street orgies in which men engage in heinous sex acts as thousands of fairgoers walk by;
• Public sadistic whippings, acts of “consensual” degradation and “master-and-slave” partners;
• Blatant anti-Christian bigotry – e.g., the “Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence” — transvestite mock “nuns” who work closely with Folsom; and religious-themed “sex toys” sold by vendors.
• Public health hazards: Folsom promotes local gay sex clubs where unsafe, anonymous sodomies (e.g., “barebacking”) occur that spread diseases.
• Police blame their inaction on politicians who tell them not to intervene or enforce the law.

“AFTAH already has gathered video and photo documentation of previous Folsom crimes — including rampant nudity and public orgies — on city streets with children in the crowd. We will be videotaping again Sunday,” LaBarbera said. “Democratic politicians like Newsom, Mark Leno and self-avowed Catholic Nancy Pelosi celebrate or refuse to denounce this event. Are these the Democratic values they want to model to the rest of the nation?”

“If the American public were to discover the despicable acts that are allowed to go on in Speaker Pelosi’s own congressional district — and which she carefully avoids condemning — she’d be sitting at home collecting unemployment rather than being two heartbeats away from the presidency,” he said.

Now why would Folsom Street Fair organizers not want the world to know about (Democratic) Mayor Gavin Newsom’s effusive support for their (unbelievably depraved) event? Folsom’s attorney wrote AFTAH to demand that we take down this Folsom welcoming letter and a gross ad (see below) from the Sept. 28 event’s raunchy “Official 2008 Program Guide.” Are Mayor Newsom and the Democrats embarrassed about supporting Folsom?

Well, I guess that despite those black-and-blue “Leather Pride” flags, the homosexual sadomasochists aren’t exactly “proud” of their perversions after all.  At least they don’t want the world to know about what they do in places like San Francisco — just like the homosexual activists hate and mock AFTAH for exposing their very popular excesses (bathhouses, MSM promiscuity, etc.) and the consequences thereof.

On August 28, Americans For Truth received an intimidating letter from San Francisco attorney Jeffry Gibson of Goldstein, Gellman, Melbostad, Gibson & Harris, LLP, representing the Folsom Street Fair. Gibson wrote:

“[D]emand is made that you forthwith (within 48 hours of the date of this letter) remove from your website (and any other publications in which you have reproduced them) those two unpermitted properties which were illegally copied without permission. Failure to do so will result in no further warnings or demands, but legal action against you which will seek both the statutory penalties allowed by law as well as recovery of Folsom Street Fair’s attorney’s fees and costs.”

The two “unpermitted properties” in question are a grotesque ad in the Folsom Street “Official 2008 Program Guide,” and, curiously, an official letter from San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom (D) — a public servant — that appeared in the same guide — extolling the Folsom fair to attendees. (Both are reproduced again here, with the ad’s nudity covered up.)

The problem for Folsom Street Fair organizers is that they are apparently ignorant of “Fair Use” law. AFTAH is within its rights to highlight Folsom’s (utterly grotesque) materials, especially if we are commenting critically on them. Below is a letter from American Family Association General Counsel Patrick Vaughn addressing the Folsom lawyer’s claim of copyright infringement:

Dear Mr. Green,

We are highlighting MillerCoor’s support of and advertising at the Folsom Street Fair in San Francisco [to be held Sunday, September 28]. I am president of a conservative pro-family group, Americans For Truth (www.aftah.org). The Folsom Street Fair is probably the most extreme and debauched public event in the United States. As you can see from below and through the links on our site, it features men walking around fully nude and engaging in public homosexual orgies on the streets of San Francisco (as the police stand idly by).

Moreover, Folsom directly promotes anti-religious bigotry through its association with the anti-Catholic “Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence” and sale of (”religious”) “sex toys” that mock the Christian faith.

I would like to know how much MillerCoors is spending to promote its products at, and/or to “sponsor” the Folsom Street Fair (you are not listed in the program as an official sponsor, but you have a full-page ad in it). Does MillerCoors have any ethical guidelines for events it will — or will not — promote (through ads) and participate in? Would MillerCoors sell beer and advertise at, say, an Incest Rights festival, or take out an ad in the publication of other openly bigoted gatherings such as a Neo-Nazi rally?
