WASHINGTON, D.C. – Several Christian and pro-family organizations, along with individuals who have left the homosexual life style, will hold a News Conference in front of the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) building (1640 Rhode Island Ave., NW, Washington, D.C.) at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 4, to express their objections to celebrating homosexual “pride” in June, during the so-called “Gay Pride Month.” Spokesmen are also expected to lambaste the HRC for their role in receiving and using confidential financial records from the IRS that were used to denounce traditional marriage.

Speakers at the News Conference include:

  • Peter LaBarbera, founder and President of Americans for Truth About Homosexuality (www.aftah.org), who will address “What’s wrong with ‘gay pride’?”
  • Filmmaker Eric Holmberg of the Apologetics Group, producer of the documentary “Is Gay the New Black? Homosexuality and the Civil Rights Movement.” See YouTube clip of his film to be released on Tuesday, “From Selma to Stonewall” here: http://bit.ly/115XtRP. DVDs will be available at the news conference.
  • Diane Gramley, President of the American Family Association of Pennsylvania (http://afaofpa.org) who will discuss the ongoing homosexual health crisis.
  • Linda Harvey, founder of Mission America and host of Mission America Radio (http://www.missionamerica.com) who will expose the harmful HRC agenda toward kids.
  • Matt Barber, Vice President of Liberty Counsel Action, a public policy arm of the international civil rights legal group, Liberty Counsel  (http://www.libertycounsel.com). Attorney Barber will address the HRC’s apparent role in IRS-gate. HRC is being investigated for allegedly conspiring with IRS officials to illegally obtain private National Organization of Marriage (NOM) documents in an effort to publicly smear the pro-marriage group.
  • A statement from former homosexual DL Foster, founder of Gay Christian Movement Watch;
  • Patrick Mangan, Executive Director of Citizens for Community Values of Indiana.

Peter LaBarbera, President of the Americans for Truth About Homosexuality, explained:  “On Tuesday morning we will gather in front of the world’s most powerful homosexual lobby group, Human Rights Campaign, in Washington, D.C., during so-called “Gay Pride Month” (June) to proclaim the politically incorrect truth: that proud homosexuality is against God; against Nature; very unhealthy; and a serious threat to children and religious freedom. Thankfully, it is also changeable — as proved by the existence of countless thousands of happy former ‘gay’ men and ex-lesbians.

“Our bottom line is that homosexuality is nothing to be proud of. In fact, practicing homosexual behavior, a destructive sin, is something to be ashamed of. Out-and-proud homosexualism — far from being a ‘human right’ — is actually a human wrong,” LaBarbera said.

“We will also testify to the lies, dirty tricks, anti-democratic bullying, hate-mongering and intimidation that have fueled the advance of so-called ‘gay rights’ in America. Recently such tactics surfaced again when HRC obtained and published leaked IRS filings from a pro-natural-marriage group, which it used to attack the donors to Mitt Romney’s campaign in an election year,” LaBarbera said.

“It’s not surprising that HRC has inroads into the most corrupt presidential administration in history,” said Matt Barber of the Liberty Counsel. “The HRC is following the tactics of Saul Alinsky as detailed in his manifesto ‘Rules for Radicals.’ President Obama and his IRS are evidently aiding and abetting this radical organization. Because sexual anarchist groups like the HRC cannot win the debate on the merits, they must resort to underhanded and, as it now appears, outright illegal tactics in order to gain momentum for their extremist agenda,” Barber said.

LISTEN: Part Two – AFTAH Interview with D.L. Foster

Monday, November 8th, 2010

D.L. Foster, founder of Gay Christian Movement Watch (www.gcmwatch.com).

Part Two of AFTAH President Peter LaBarbera’s interview with D.L. Foster, founder of Gay Christian Movement Watch (www.gcmwatch.com). This pre-taped interview aired Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010. Part Three will air this Saturday at 11:00 on WYLL-Chicago (AM 1160). Foster and LaBarbera discuss the Republican landslide that swept the GOP into control of the U.S. House of Representatives. They also note the stunning vote in Iowa denying retention to three state Supreme Court judges who voted to legalize homosexual “marriage” in that state. LaBarbera compares the arrogance of liberal congressional leaders to that of homosexual activists like Joe Solmonese of the Human Rights Campaign – who recently declared — in a column attacking Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council — that homosexuality is not sinful.

“The arrogance of homosexuality is part and parcel of its sin,” says Foster. He says he does not let strident opposition from homosexual activists divert him from his calling before God to expose the false “gay Christian” movement and to speak the truth in love to homosexuals. LaBarbera and Foster affirm that staying principled on social issues like abortion and homosexuality transcends party politics, and warn that many Christians will abandon the GOP if it fails to defend the truth on those issues.

New HRC Corporate Scorecard Demands Coverage of Transsexual ‘Sex-Change’ Operations

Friday, October 22nd, 2010

Will businesses cave to homosexual lobby group’s brazen demands?

Should American consumers and taxpayers subsidize body-disfiguring "Sex Reassignment Surgeries" for gender-confused individuals? Above is Autumn Sandeen, a man who left his wife and kids to become a transsexual activist. Sandeen's ex-wife told AFTAH that she discovered his perverse cross-dressing desires when she found a dress that wasn't hers in the clothes dryer. Click on photo to enlarge.

Folks, every time I think I’ve seen it all regarding the Homosexual Lobby’s fanatical demands, they come up with something new that dumbfounds me in its astonishing arrogance and chutzpah. Check this out: the anti-Christian, anti-Bible (and yes, anti-God) homosexual lobby group Human Wrongs Rights Campaign (HRC) has added coverage for transsexual sex-change operations to its 2012 Corporate Scorecard criteria. These perverse criteria gauge how compliant major corporations are to HRC’s radical homosexual/bisexual/transsexual agenda. The D.C.-based lobby organzation wants at least $75,000 in “health” coverage for tranny sex-change operations for the corporation to get a perfect rating.

HRC is led by well-paid secular bigot Joe Solmonese, who also is DEMANDING an apology from the Mormon Church because a church official affirmed Mormon teachings on the sin of homosexuality. HRC’s hugely-funded PAC is deeply involved in elections across the country: you can check out how your Congressman and Senators rated on the homosexual agenda criteria by linking to their Congressional Scorecard.

The following is an excerpt of what HRC stipulates for its revised 2012 Corporate Scorecard “Criteria 3.0″ (yes, they upgrade them periodically, like Microsoft Windows) under “Health Insurance for Transgender Employees and Dependents”). If a corporation agrees to this for 2012 – and all of HRC’s other homosexual/transsexual demands [see this AFTAH article on the current rating criteria] – it gets a 100 percent rating:

“Where available for employees, the following benefits should all extend to transgender individuals, including for services related to transgender transition (e.g., medically necessary services related to sex reassignment):

  • Short term medical leave
  • Mental health benefits
  • Pharmaceutical coverage (e.g., for hormone replacement therapies)
  • Coverage for medical visits or laboratory services
  • Coverage for reconstructive surgical procedures related to sex reassignment”

Battle Over the Blood — FDA Upholds Ban on Homosexual Male Blood Donations

Wednesday, June 16th, 2010

“In this battle, if the gays win, you lose,” says Kincaid

[NOTE: Corrected contact info for American Red Cross below]

“Detection of HIV infection is particularly challenging when very low levels of virus are present in the blood for example during the so-called ‘window period.’ The ‘window period’ is the time between being infected with HIV and the ability of an HIV test to detect HIV in an infected person….FDA’s MSM policy reduces the likelihood that a person would unknowingly donate blood during the ‘window period’ of infection. This is important because the rate of new infections in MSM is higher than in the general population and current blood donors.” – Food and Drug Administration (FDA)

In the book And the Band Played On: Politics, People and the AIDS Epidemic, homosexual journalist Randy Shilts documents how homosexual activists originally fought the effort to ban "gay" male blood donations, saying it was discriminatory. This caused a delay in starting the ban, which led to the needless deaths of many innocent people. Shilts himself died of AIDS.

Folks, thankfully, sanity has prevailed and the political attempt to weaken the FDA ban on blood donations from “men who have had sex with men” (MSM) failed in a 6-9 vote Friday by the FDA committee mentioned in Cliff Kincaid’s article below. (Note the American Red Cross’ condemnation of the vote, along with “gay” activist organizations; contact the Red Cross HERE.) I only wish the homosexual activists and their liberal allies (most importantly the CDC) would redirect their energies toward shutting down homosexual bathhouses and sex clubs — i.e., the venues that encourage the anonymous hyper-promiscuity that facilitates the spread of sexually-transmitted diseases. (See our story: “CDC: Gay Men’s HIV Rate 44 Times that of Other Men; Syphilis Rate 46 Times Higher.”) But this would run contrary to the history of homosexual activism, which elevates deviant sex and “rights” based on same above the public health and other interests of the public. TAKE ACTION: Contact the Food and Drug Administration HERE; Contact the Red Cross HERE; and you can reach Congress at 202-224-3121. – Peter LaBarbera, www.aftah.org,

The Battle Over Blood

By Cliff Kincaid, Reprinted with permission of Accuracy in Media, www.aim.org |  June 9, 2010

With the public focused on the calamity of the Gulf oil spill, another disaster that could affect millions of lives is in the making. The federal Advisory Committee on Blood Safety and Availability (ACBSA) is holding meetings on June 10 and June 11 to consider lifting the ban on gay blood.

In this battle, if the gays win, you lose.

Gay activists, who are expected to dominate the proceedings and intimidate federal policy makers, insist that the ban is discriminatory and homophobic and are demanding the “right” to donate blood. The lifting of the ban on gay blood is seen as a necessary prerequisite to lifting the ban on open gays in the military. After all, how can gays be on the battlefield, where they could be called upon to provide a blood transfusion to a fellow soldier, if they cannot legally donate blood?

What this means, if politics is played with the blood supply, is that that the five million Americans a year who receive blood transfusions, in addition to soldiers on the battlefield, could be exposed to the AIDS virus or other infections in the diseased blood of sexually active homosexuals.

Obama’s ‘Gay Pride Month’ Proclamation

Friday, June 4th, 2010

Obama calls for repeal of Defense of Marriage Act

President Barack Obama's promotion of a government-enforced homosexual and "transgender" agenda will lead to the loss of liberties for those who espouse and defend the natural, historic Judeo-Christian conception of marriage and family.

CORRECTION: Well folks, looks like we’re a year behind in covering President Obama’s declaration of “Pride” in that which is shameful. I accidentally published President Obama’s 2009 “Gay Pride Month” Proclamation instead of the current 2010 version. So below we have included both years’ proclamations so you can compare them. Note that in the 2010 version, Obama calls for the repeal of the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), which he is now circumventing piecemeal through “domestic partner” executive orders for federal workers. I apologize for the mistake. – Peter LaBarbera, www.aftah.org

Original AFTAH commentary:

America’s pro-homosexual Panderer-in-Chief is at it again….When President Obama proclaims [2009 "Gay Pride Month" statement], “As long as the promise of equality for all remains unfulfilled, all Americans are affected. If we can work together to advance the principles upon which our Nation was founded, every American will benefit,” I wonder if he’s ever heard of Matt Barber — who was fired by Allstate Insurance Co., after Obama’s “gay” allies over at the Human Wrongs Rights Campaign complained that Matt had written an online article critical of homosexuality (on his own time).

(I don’t recall Matt being comforted at the idea that it was for the cause of “gay equality” that he was cruelly and suddenly thrown into unemployment by Allstate….)

Or how about Elaine Huguenin, a Christian photographer who was fined by the courts under New Mexico’s “sexual orientation” law because she would not take pictures at a lesbian commitment ceremony? (Pro-gay-agenda Libertarians: take note; Huguenin is appealing the decision.)

Wasn’t religious liberty and freedom of conscience one of those “principles upon which our Nation was founded”?

Biased Politico Article Reports House Passage of ‘Provisional Repeal’ of Military Gay Ban

Saturday, May 29th, 2010

Five Republicans vote Yes and 26 Democrats vote No on House vote to repeal “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell”

Sen. Jim Webb (D-Va.), an ex-combat-Marine, opposes the effort to repeal the ban on open homosexuals in the military.

Folks, note the bias in this Politico article reprinted below reporting the legislative action Thursday on Capitol Hill to end the ban on open homosexuals serving in the military. Perhaps a large part of the reason that many Americans have changed their opinion on “gays in the military” is that they have been bombarded for the past 15 years with biased media treatment of the issue.  (And this Politico article is more “balanced” than most media stories dealing with homosexuality.) I sent Politico reporter Jen DiMascio this short note:

Letter to Politico.com, May 28, 2010

Re: your story on the House repeal of DADT

Dear Ms. DiMascio,

Why did you include no quotes from (non-governmental) pro-family or conservative lobby groups in your story today on the repeal of DADT [Don't Ask, Don't Tell] — seeing that you quote both SLDN [Servicemembers Legal Defense Network] and HRC [Human Rights Campaign] spokesmen?

Fair is fair.
