It’s time for Education Secretary Arne Duncan and ‘Safe Schools’ Deputy Kevin Jennings to go for elevating their radical social agendas above the safety, innocence and education of children

(Homosexual behavior is hardly “safe,” as evidenced by the disproportionately high incidence of sexually-transmitted diseases among homosexuals.) Jennings must go, as should Sec. The indefensible decision of [Education Secretary] Arne Duncan to appoint radical homosexual activist and founder of the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN), Kevin Jennings, to the position of Assistant Deputy Secretary of the Office of Safe and Drug Free Schools is finally generating the public opposition it deserves.
Criticism of Jennings is coming from multiple sources all over the country. From small and large pro-family organizations to the Washington Times to Sean Hannity — all are calling for Jennings to resign or be terminated. Now is the time to act. Call or email your representatives and senators to politely demand the ousting of Kevin Jennings who is at least as unsuitable and controversial an appointment as the former “Green Czar” Van Jones was.
Take ACTION: Contact your U.S. Representative (202-225-3121; www.congress.org) and urge him or her to oppose H.R. 2262 – “The Safe Schools Improvement Act.” Despite its innocuous-sounding title, this bill would actually promote the acceptance of homosexuality and gender confusion in schools.

H.R. 2262, “The Safe Schools Improvement Act,” was introduced in May, and in June it was referred to the Subcommittee on Early Childhood, Elementary, and Secondary Education. This bill would “amend the Safe and Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act to include bullying and harassment prevention programs.” Anyone who has been paying attention knows that anti-bullying/safe schools curricula are now the central means by which pro-homosexual propaganda is secreted into public schools.
Milk-ing the Schools to Indoctrinate Kids: Almost by definition, students celebrating Harvey Milk Day in California will get the politically correct, Hollywood version of his life — e.g., that he was assassinated by a “murderous homophobe” (not true: Ray Sloan — the campaign manager and confidant of Milk’s killer, Dan White — was openly homosexual, and testified that White “supported nearly all of Milk’s gay-friendly resolutions,” according to a liberal San Francisco paper). Milk — who supported cult mass-murderer Jim Jones — is hardly an appropriate role model for children (see Dan Flynn’s City Journal article, “Drinking Harvey Milk’s Kool-Aid”). The Democrat-led push for a day honoring this homosexual activist of dubious character is only the most audacious example of pro-homosexuality liberals using the schools to indoctrination children.
Folks, we have been slow to comment on all the Harvey Milk hype in our liberal-dominated popular culture — hype that is driving this push for an outrageous California bill that would effectively force students to celebrate a man famous for … being the first “out and proud” practitioner of homosexuality to win public office. (Oh boy: another marker for America’s Moral Meltdown.) The more one reads about Milk (see Dan Flynn’s excellent City Journal piece HERE) and the real story about his murder at the hands of Dan White (see caption above), the more preposterous becomes the idea of heralding him as a “civil rights” martyr.
Hope and change. Right. Below is then-presidential candidate Barack Obama’s July 17, 2007 speech at Planned Parenthood, the world’s largest “provider” of abortions. (Q: What services do you provide? A: We will snuff out the life of your innocent, unborn child, for a fee– minority babies preferred.) It should be remembered that this evil organization is also a leading and aggressive advocate for homosexuality and extramarital sex (check out their reckless “Teenwire” youth sexual advice website).
Obama likes to play basketball, and the head fake is an important part of the game. You try to get your defender to commit with a head or body fake, throwing him off balance so you can move in to take the real shot (or get a clear shot at the basket). “Both Sides” Barack, the candidate, made some pretty good head fakes on abortion and homosexual “marriage” during the campaign, and many Americans were fooled. He said he wanted to “reduce the number of abortions” and pretended to be a strong supporter of preserving traditional marriage. (Remember the Saddleback Church debate moderated by Rick Warren?)
Then the real Obama went to the hoop: he championed the radical Freedom of Choice Act to rally his pro-abortion base as a candidate, expanded taxpayer-funded abortions worldwide as president, and now is moving to destroy DOMA, the Defense of Marriage Act (signed into law by Democrat Bill Clinton in 1996). But the double-game is getting much tougher for Obama: a growing number of Americans are seeing him for what he is: the most radically left president ever to occupy the Oval Office. Shame on the gullible Christians and religionists who went for his head fakes. We’d be fools to rely on them again to “defend” life and marriage. — Peter LaBarbera

Homosexual “pride” events and street fairs are growing in number and size. A number of them are also becoming increasingly risqué despite their public nature; except in Charlotte, North Carolina. There, Dr. Michael Brown and the Coalition for Conscience have been taking a stand for truth while actively and civilly reaching out to those attending the “gay” pride gathering. Just this month, 500 Christians came to Charlotte to pray, worship and share the Gospel with those at the event, and proclaim that God Has a Better Way. Who defines “hate,” Richard? By classifying the outworking of Christianity and other major religions’ teachings against homosexuality as “hate,” you and fellow pro-homosexual activists become haters of a different sort, though you are blind to your hypocrisy. You despise (hate) the wisdom of Judeo-Christian tradition (on your pet issue) and you abhor (hate) the Bible’s clear teachings against homosexual practice. And then revisionist “gay theologians” cynically attempt to redefine the Word of God by whitewashing the sin of homosexual behavior.
Are these the values that will draw voters to the GOP?

A ‘Leatherman’ Attends Boston’s “Transgender” Youth Prom: Mr. Boston Leather, Tim Starkey, who self-identifies as a “leather BDSM fetishist,” was an official greeter at Boston’s “Transgender Prom” May 9. Adult transsexuals (men in dresses) also were seen at the event supposedly for “youth 22 years old and under.” Bottom line: homosexual activists simply cannot be trusted with America’s youth. Check out this shocking eye-witness report and you will see why homosexual activists have struggled so hard to keep groups like AFTAH and MassResistance from exposing their events. Is this the “Safe Schools” agenda of President Obama and his Education Secretary, Arne Duncan?

Folks, when it comes to the homosexual/transsexual “queer” activist movement, it seems the continuous story line is: Can it get any weirder, any more perverse? And then it does. Our good friends over at MassResistance once again have done the hard work of exposing part of the REAL homosexual youth agenda — you know, the one in which adult homosexual activists recklessly expose vulnerable young people to adult sexual perverts and harmful lifestyles. This is hardly the first “gay youth” scandal.
Take the time to read this shocking eye-witness story and then ask yourself: how is it that President Obama has the “audacity” to promote a man, Education Department “Safe Schools” czar Kevin Jennings, whose organization (GLSEN) has for more than a decade promoted all things transsexual to youth — yes, in the name of “safety.” This “transgender prom” travesty is part of Jennings’ perverse legacy — GLSEN has sponsored or been associated with other events that corrupted and endangered youth, like the notorious “Fistgate” episode, and a GLSEN conference in Chicago in which pornographic homosexual magazines advertising “gay” sex clubs and leather bars were passed out to underage youth.
Bottom line: such recklessness toward youth would never be tolerated if it weren’t part of a left-wing, politically correct agenda. It is wrong and incredibly irresponsible to use American schools to “promote homosexuality”, transsexuality, bisexuality — and, God help us, sexual sadism — to young people.
