Increasingly, the push for full acceptance and promotion of the LGBTQ+ agenda is advancing. In fact, According to one poll, 28% of Gen-Z adults are identifying as LGBTQ.
The result? Women’s sports are being decimated and dominated by men who are identifying as women. Leading up to the Super Bowl, the NFL is committed to bowing to the diversity, equity and inclusion movement as it will be hosting the third annual, “A Night of Pride” with GLAAD during Super Bowl Week. Politically, additional LGBTQ+ appointments to the federal bench are being made by the Biden administration, while polyamory is on the increase.
Are we fast approaching the days of Lot? That’s a question to ponder as Crosstalk welcomed Peter LaBarbera back to Crosstalk. Peter is the founder and president of Americans for Truth. He’s a former reporter for the Washington Times and LifeSiteNews.com and a former contributing editor for Human Events.
The Public Religion Research Institute is the organization making the claim that 28% of Gen-Z adults (ages 18-25) are identifying as LGBTQ. Peter doesn’t completely believe that figure because he contends that the PRRI is a liberal polling group and that it’s in their interest to promote progressive ideas in religion and Christianity. Nonetheless, he found out from Gallop in early 2022 that based upon polling from the previous year, 20.8% of Gen-Z’ers were identifying as LGBT.
Peter believes this crisis is the result of the “mainstreaming” of perversion toward young people and that this activity expands the list of perversions. This broadcast demonstrates what recent history has shown us in this regard and that since homosexuality was normalized, in the name of diversity, you can’t say “no” to other perverse lifestyles such as transgenderism or polyamory.
Peter’s concern is that the only way out of this cascading deviance is revival because we’re at the stage where young people simply see homosexuality as normal. In fact, they almost see it as “square.” Instead the cutting edge thing is to be non-binary or gender fluid.
From the LGBTQ perspective, mainstreaming through indoctrination is working and it’s hitting America like a flood because like an open dam, the boundaries have been removed. The flood is hitting everyone, especially young people, and they’re being offered numerous identity options, all based upon subjective feelings, that go beyond the letters, LGBTQ.

A New York City government arts program launched in 2021 by former Democrat Mayor Bill de Blasio gave a $5,000 grant to a homosexual filmmaker for a salacious short film, “Trade Center.” The film [see full transcript below] fondly reminisces about secret gay men’s orgy spaces in the World Trade Center, e.g., public restrooms and staircases before the twin towers were destroyed by Islamic terrorists on September 11, 2001.
The eight-minute “documentary” by homosexual filmmaker and pornography site writer Adam Baran gives an oral history “sex tour” of the pre-9/11 WTC complex. It fondly remembers gay “cruising” sites at the twin towers where men would meet furtively to engage in deviant sex acts with other men. Creator Adam Baran writes: “our five subjects describe their memories of meaningful public sex encounters in each [orgy] location.” The film’s narrator speculates that men who were “cruising” for anonymous sex in the buildings perished when the towers were hit.
The taxpayer-funded “Trade Center” was released on Vimeo September 7, 2021, coinciding with the 20th anniversary of the Al-Qaeda terror attack targeting the twin towers that took nearly 3,000 innocent lives in New York City, Washington, D.C., and Pennsylvania.
“Cruising” for homosexual, impersonal “public sex” in restrooms, parks, etc., predates the modern, post-Stonewall-riots, political gay-rights era. It is less common nowadays with the rise of digital phone apps like the GPS-assisted Grindr that efficiently cater to horny homosexual men seeking instant, anonymous, sodomitic hook-ups with other men nearby.
This libidinous, hyper-promiscuous side of male homosexual sub-culture is rarely covered by the dominant, “mainstream” media, which focuses primarily on the cultural visibility and political “rights” aspects of the LGBTQ+ movement. Historically, high-risk, anonymous sex has been downplayed by “gay” activists trying to mainstream homosexuality. Nevertheless, it is linked to rampant STDs and health maladies among “men who have sex with men” (MSM). For example, the recent monkeypox viral outbreak, which overwhelmingly affected gay and bisexual men, is specifically linked to men who had “multiple sex partners” with other men, often at orgiastic gay sex parties accompanying LGBTQ “pride” festivals.
The pro-pornography Baran views “Trade Center” as an important historical work covering a segment of “gay” life. What he calls “meaningful public sex” is part of the Left’s “sex-positive” agenda, which eschews any moral limits to sexual behavior. The film’s raunchy subject matter did not stop it from receiving plaudits from “woke” film groups and the video streaming company Vimeo, which bans Christian ministry’s and church videos that oppose homosexuality. Another short film by Baran features a 14-year-old boy who is spurred on by a gay porn star in his quest to secure homosexual pornographic magazines.
Folks, this is an important piece by my friend, Dr. Michael Brown, who has been one of America’s most fearless “Culture War” defenders of biblical sexual morality in the last few decades. Mike is right on here. It saddens me that so many conservatives have become “moral relativists” of sorts who, even as they push back strongly against the radical “trans” agenda, have largely gone silent against what most on the Right used to call “the gay agenda.” (Conservatives love patriotic God-talk but it seems many would follow a “GOP” version of the Bible, which, if it existed, would give a pass on the Sin of Sodom to Republicans and Libertarians.)
The emergence of “gay”-affirming “conservatism” is intellectually dishonest and morally/spiritually craven. The truth is: the Bible unequivocally proscribes homosexuality as sinful. Moreover, deviance begets deviance, and there would be no Big Trans and Big LGBTQ+ (beware the “+”!) agendas without the media-driven triumph of the “Gay” revolution. It is not just Christian conservatives who are pushing backing against transgender activism these days.
Prominent liberals, along with well-known gay and lesbian activists, have also been raising their voices, especially when it comes to transitioning Schildren. Together with conservatives, they are protesting the insanity of biological males competing against biological females or against putting young children on puberty blockers and performing sex-change surgery on minors.
But that is only one side of the coin.
The flip side of all this is that homosexual practice has become more and more accepted to the point that fewer and fewer conservatives will tackle it head on.

Folks, this is an important presentation by my good friend Doug Mainwaring, who is as brave and principled a pro-family advocate as I’ve ever known. Doug, who is ex-“gay” and writes for LifeSiteNews (where I once worked), has been a leading, albeit lonely, voice in urging the Right not to abandon the traditional, age-old conservative defense of Judeo-Christian morality. In this case, that means NOT latching on to a newfangled, libertarian brand of “conservatism” that not only tolerates, but celebrates homosexual unions–you know, the Republican ones (think Dave Rubin, Rick Grenell, Guy Benson, etc.)–ostensibly for political gain.
Last I checked, there was no “GOP exception” in Romans 1 and other passages of the Bible proscribing homosexual behavior as sinful. Moreover, among the many reasons to oppose legalized same-sex “marriage” (no matter what the courts rule) is that it provides a launching pad for the inevitable pleas to recognize “gay unions” in the Christian Church, always in the name of compassion. Normalizing sexual perversion is not and never will be a “conservative” value, nor a compassionate one.

Under the guise of LGBTQ+ activism, the calendar is being exploited again. We’ve been through pride month, now it’s LGBTQ history month, while today has been declared National Coming Out Day. With these days of recognition comes an avalanche of behaviors, legislation and other societal changes that are clearly unscriptural.
Returning to Crosstalk for the latest news concerning LGBTQ activism was Peter LaBarbera. Peter is the founder and president of Americans for Truth. Jim had Peter comment on the following news items.
National “Coming Out” Day. Originally this was about simply coming out as homosexual. According to Peter, the significance is that this was a strategy. Homosexual activists knew that the effect would be to reduce the opposition by making people less likely to speak out against homosexuality as well as redefining what’s considered normal. The result is that all these years later it’s metastasized to include those “coming out” and identifying as being one of the many other perverse identities society now recognizes.
An adult drag queen is identifying as a child. So how can you prosecute someone who identifies as an 8 year old if they molest another 8 year old?
Congressman Mark Pocan of Wisconsin has introduced 2 pieces of legislation. One is H.R.9070. This would establish within the Smithsonian Institution, the National Museum of American LGBTQ+ History and Culture. It already has 64 co-sponsors. He’s also introduced H.R.9071 that would establish a commission to study the potential creation of a national museum of LGBTQ+ history and culture.
A homosexual couple in New York is suing the city government because under the city’s current insurance policy they don’t qualify for fertility treatments, yet they claim they have a right to parenthood even though their biology doesn’t allow for it. As a result, they’ve filed a class action complaint against the city. They claim that since both of them are male and biologically incapable of naturally procreating, that they meet the medical definition of being infertile and thus they’re entitled to insurance that will cover the cost of using a woman to have a baby for them.
A judge has ruled that those in polyamorous relationships are entitled to the same legal protections as married couples.
The Scooby-Doo cartoon now presents Velma as a lesbian.
This is just a brief summary of points discussed during the early portion of the program. There’s much more that’s examined, and as you’ll see, it’s all about normalizing perversion. Jim and Peter present the evidence that proves why, on this Crosstalk broadcast.
Below are the 45 House Republicans who joined 220 Democrats in voting for the pro-homosexual “marriage” bill, named the “Respect for Marriage Act,” H.B. 8404, which passed the House July 19, 2022. Not a single Democrat voted against the bill, which pro-natural-marriage critics have dubbed the “Disrespect for Marriage Act.”

Respect for Marriage Act
This bill provides statutory authority for same-sex and interracial marriages.
Specifically, the bill repeals and replaces provisions that define, for purposes of federal law, marriage as between a man and a woman and spouse as a person of the opposite sex with provisions that recognize any marriage that is valid under state law. (The Supreme Court held that the current provisions were unconstitutional in United States v. Windsor in 2013.)
The bill also repeals and replaces provisions that do not require states to recognize same-sex marriages from other states with provisions that prohibit the denial of full faith and credit or any right or claim relating to out-of-state marriages on the basis of sex, race, ethnicity, or national origin. (The Supreme Court held that state laws barring same-sex marriages were unconstitutional in Obergefell v. Hodges in 2015; the Court held that state laws barring interracial marriages were unconstitutional in Loving v. Virginia in 1967.) The bill allows the Department of Justice to bring a civil action and establishes a private right of action for violations.
