This is the first of a two-part interview [click HERE to listen] with Ken Hutcherson, senior pastor of Antioch Bible Church, in Redmond, Washington. It was recorded November 29, 2012. Hutcherson discusses the failed pro-family campaign to defeat a homosexual “marriage” bill in his state. He drew attention in pro-family circles by. criticizing national groups such as National Organization for Marriage (NOM) for coming into the state and dictating a “moderate” leadership for the pro-traditional-marriage forces–at the expense of a unified, local coalition of religious and pro-family leaders that had already formed. (See these articles quoting Hutcherson in One News Now and Christian Post.) Hutcherson compares the Washington State anti-“gay marriage” campaign’s effort to stay moderate (he says he was denied a leadership role because he was viewed by NOM as “too controversial”) to GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney avoiding social issues to reach out to moderate voters. “Hutch” says Romney would have won had he exposed President Barack Obama’s radical record on “same-sex marriage,” abortion and other social issues because that would have motivated more Christians and conservatives to go to the polls. AFTAH will be inviting NOM to tell its side of the Washington State marriage vote story in a future interview. — Peter LaBarbera, AFTAH

The following interview with FOX News contributor and American Family Association (AFA) talk show host Sandy Rios was recorded November 15, 2012. We apologize for the delay in posting it. Rios is the former president of Concerned Women for America (where she was my former boss) and hosts of “Sandy Rios in the Morning,” which airs 7:00-8:00 AM Central Time daily on AFR Talk. Sandy is also vice-president of Family-Pac Federal. In the interview, Rios reacts to the bigoted rant by Atlanta talk show host Neal Boortz — who absurdly blames the Republicans’ election loss on social conservatives. She also addresses the recent “gay” activist electoral sweep on homosexual “marriage,” the coming battle in the GOP over social issues, and the struggle even within pro-family circles to defend principle on the homosexual issue. — Peter LaBarbera, AFTAH

Homosexual activists sweep “gay marriage” ballot measures in Maine, Maryland, Minnesota and Washington State
Rep. Tammy Baldwin (D-Wisconsin) becomes the first open lesbian to win a U.S. Senate seat. Most assuredly, the voters of Wisconsin were largely uninformed about Baldwin’s radical record in support of the homosexual-bisexual-transgender agenda.
CHICAGO– Tuesday was a devastating day for pro-family advocates concerned about the advance of same-sex “marriage” and homosexual activism. While politics does not decide moral and spiritual Truth, it is an indicator of the heart of our nation. On Nov. 6, America took another giant step away from God and our Judeo-Christian heritage.
Here are the ‘Gay’ Lobby’s biggest victories:
Barack Obama, the most pro-homosexual president in U.S. history, won reelection after embracing homosexual “marriage”;
Voters in Maine, Maryland and Washington State passed ballot measures legalizing “same-sex marriage”;
Minnesota voters rejected an amendment to preserve natural marriage as one-man, one-woman after 32 states previously had passed similar marriage amendments;
Democrat Rep. Tammy Baldwin became the first open lesbian to win a U.S. Senate seat – defeating Republican former Wisconsin governor Tommy Thompson. Five other open homosexuals and a bisexual atheist (Kyrsten Sinema, D-AZ) won House seats;
Judge David Wiggins – one of seven Iowa Supreme Court justices to legalize “gay marriage” in 2009 – survived a pro-family campaign against him and won retention. In 2010, Iowa voters tossed out three fellow Supreme Court justices who were part of the same “gay marriage” ruling.
No longer can pro-family advocates say that homosexual “marriage” has never been voted in by the people. Thanks to a never-ending bombardment of media-, educational- and pop-culture propaganda in favor of All Things Gay, homosexual “marriage” is now semi-popular, at least in Blue States. And there is no sugar-coating how damaging Obama’s reelection will be to this already depraved nation.
The following column by our friend Greg Quinlan first appeared on the website of PFOX (Parents and Friends of Ex-Gays and Gays):
By Greg Quinlan
Greg Quinlan says he was labeled a “traitor” for leaving the homosexual lifestyle and his “gay” identity behind.
The homosexual push for “equal marriage,” otherwise known as genderless marriage, can only lead to a ban on heterosexual rights. With a President in power who endorses gay causes and readily misuses executive orders, and emboldened by their numerous wins for gay rights at the legislative and judicial level, homosexuals have now moved beyond equal rights to the “more equal than you” level. As a result, gay organizations are working to ban that practice they fear the most — heterosexual behavior.
Witness the ban on heterosexual therapy successfully pushed by homosexual groups in California. Even though no scientific evidence exists of a “gay gene,” parents in California are now prohibited from taking their children to see a therapist to resolve their child’s unwanted same-sex attractions.
So for parents who discover that their son has been molested and is now sexually confused, their only option is to make an appointment with a gay-affirming therapist — because unlike heterosexual affirming therapy, gay-affirming therapy has not been declared illegal in California even though such therapy has not been proven beneficial by the APA.
Yet a parent can take their son to a therapist to approve gender blocking hormones so that the child’s natural gender is stunted before he reaches puberty. In short, parents can attempt to change a child’s gender, but they cannot change their child’s sexual orientation unless it is to a homosexual identity.
Slams “gay” activists’ condescension and nastiness toward Black Christians
Bishop EW Jackson
This is Part Two of our interview with Bishop EW Jackson [click HERE to listen], founder and president of the Chesapeake, Va.-based STAND (Staying True to America’s National Destiny). Jackson’s YouTube video urging Black Christians to abandon the Democratic Party because it champions immoral and anti-biblical policies like homosexual “marriage” has over 1.1 million hits. In this segment, recorded October 19, 2012, Jackson takes issue with an “LGBT Equality Month” listing claiming George Washington Carver was “gay.” Jackson and AFTAH President Peter LaBarbera discuss the media’s and liberals’ bias against people of faith and especially Black conservative Christians. You can listen to Part One of the interview HERE.

Bishop EW Jackson’s video urging fellow Blacks to flee the Democratic Party due to its anti-biblical policies now has more than 1.1 million hits.
This is a wonderful interview [click HERE to listen] with Bishop E.W. Jackson, founder and president of STAND (Staying True to America’s National Destiny) and bishop of Exodus Faith Ministries, based in Chesapeake, VA. It was recorded October 11, 2012, and is the first of two parts. Jackson is creator of a new viral video urging fellow Black Christians to “come out” of the Democratic Party due to its embrace of anti-Christian policies such as homosexual “marriage” and abortion-on-demand. Jackson says he has received overwhelmingly positive feedback from Black ministers and “Americans of African descent” on his video. He tells AFTAH that he believes a significant percentage of Blacks will not vote for Barack Obama this time around, even if they do not vote for Mitt Romney. He agrees with AFTAH President Peter LaBarbera that the Republican Party will devastate its pro-family “brand” by adopting pro-homosexual politics, and criticized Romney and his running mate, Paul Ryan, for acquiescing to homosexuals in the military (and, in Romney’s case, homosexuality in the Boy Scouts).
Jackson — a Marine Corps Veteran, Harvard Law graduate, and former candidate for U.S. Senate in Virginia — ends by saying that liberal policies including legal abortion and the promotion of homosexuality have done far greater harm to Blacks than the KKK ever did.

When President Obama and the Democrats formally embraced homosexual “marriage,” “gay” activists cheered. But many members of a larger political constituency, Black Christians, cringed. This video by Bishop E.W. Jackson, founder of Chesapeake, Va.-based STAND (Staying True to America’s National Destiny), has gone viral, with over 1.1 million YouTube hits. A returning Marine plants a kiss on his boyfriend at a homecoming reception. Congressman Paul Ryan now says it would be a “step in the wrong direction” to reverse the law allowing such open homosexuality in the military. In this widely-distributed photo, we blocked the male-male kiss and circled a child in the background. Click to enlarge.

Republican Vice-Presidential candidate Paul Ryan’s recent politically correct reversal on homosexuals in the military (to align with his running-mate) illustrates why conservatives often lose in politics by following a defeatist model of “Kvetch and Retreat,” as laid out by New York Orthodox Rabbi Mayer Schiller.
Schiller accurately observed how in political debates with the Left, conservatives typically warn of the dire consequences of a given policy as they passionately resist it. Then, if the Left wins, conservatives “kvetch” (complain, whine) about the loss — but rather than fight doggedly to regain lost political and cultural ground, they often “retreat” by accepting the new liberal status quo and moving on to the next battle.
The “Kvetch and Retreat” phenomenon — repeated again and again – results in a radically transformed society guided by liberal ideology and policy victories that morph into “mainstream” consensus with the help of the morally-challenged media and cultural elites.
Liberals take politics much more seriously than conservatives: they tightly adhere to their (misguided) principles and do battle with a long-term perspective – rallying behind their core beliefs and viewing defeats as mere temporary setbacks. A good example is their war on the Boy Scouts: after the Supreme Court in 2000 narrowly preserved the Scouts’ right not to permit homosexual and atheist scoutmasters, pro-“gay” leftists did not mope around in defeat but instead ramped up their attacks on the beleaguered Scouts – painting them as “bigots” and driving them off parks and other public venues.
In contrast, there is no fight left in Congressman Ryan after the demise of ‘Don’t Ask/Don’t Tell’ (he previously voted to keep the homosexual ban). Speaking just days after addressing a conservative “Values Voters” conference, Ryan said this when asked by a TV reporter about the new pro-gay military law:
“I talked to a lot of good friends of mine who are combat leaders in the theater, and they just didn’t think the timing of this was right to do this when our troops were in the middle of harm’s way in combat. Now that it’s done, we should not reverse it. I think that would be a step in the wrong direction because people have already disclosed themselves [as homosexuals].
“I think this issue is past us. It’s done. And I think we need to move on.”
