LGBT Lobby and liberals in a panic as Texas conservatives go on offense against the homosexual/gender-confusion agenda

— Language from Texas bill HB 4105, the “Preservation of State Sovereignty and Marriage Act”
Folks, don’t you love how conservative Texans are not afraid of Big Gay Inc, or the Supreme Court, for that matter? I was just informed by my friend Dr. Steven Hotze, president of Conservative Republicans of Texas that he expects HB 4105 [see text of bill here] to pass out of the Texas House today (Wednesday). Then it will go on to the Senate. If passed there, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott is expected to sign it into law.
LGBT activists and pro-homosexuality liberals (that’s redundant these days) are freaking out over HB 4105 and other Texas bills designed to thwart the homosexual/gender-confusion agenda. (See MSNBC hyperventilating HERE.) They simply are not used to conservatives playing offense! The following e-alert was sent out today by Dr. Hotze. By the way, I had the opportunity to meet with Dr. Hotze in D.C., as we were both speakers at Janet Porter’s “Restrain the Judges” press conference in front of the Supreme Court [watch the video HERE]. He is an awesome culture warrior with a big heart for God’s Truth. Thank God conservatives are starting to challenge judicial supremacy. — Peter LaBarbera, AFTAH; Twitter: @PeterLaBarbera

HB 4105 Preservation of State Sovereignty and Marriage Act
Set for Vote in Texas House Today
May 12, 2015
Dear Fellow Conservative,
Greetings in Christ!
HB 4105, the Preservation of State Sovereignty and Marriage Act, is on the House Calendar for today, Tuesday, May 12, 2015. However, due to the backlog of bills, it may not be voted on until late this evening or maybe evenWednesday or Thursday. The deadline for passing this bill on the second reading is this Thursday at midnight. You must keep the pressure on the Texas legislators to pass HB 4105. Click here to call your state representative and click on their name to send him an email: https://www.txdirectory.com/online/txhouse/
The Texas Marriage Amendment passed with an overwhelming 76% of the electorate in the general election in 2005. The Texas Marriage Amendment of the Texas Constitution, Article 1, Section 32, provides that: “Marriage in this state shall consist only of the union of one man and one woman.”

Opponents of HB 4105 want to portray those who support traditional marriage, which has existed since the beginning of time, as discriminatory, bigoted and intolerant. The issue is not about discrimination, bigotry or intolerance, rather it is about whether marriage is going to be redefined. If it is, then the civil government will force you and force families, schools, businesses and churches to accept, condone, affirm and even celebrate homosexual behavior. This will lead to the criminalization of Christianity.
It would be mandated that children be taught the practice of homosexuality in the schools beginning as early as kindergarten. Children in school would be encouraged to experiment with homosexual behavior. The purpose of this is to desensitize children so they can be easily recruited into the homosexual movement.
This is what has happened in Massachusetts, which was the first state to permit homosexual ‘mirage.’ The idea of homosexual marriage is a ‘mirage’ because it is a counterfeit. It is false. It is a lie.
It is just absurd and ridiculous to think that any individual would be granted minority status based upon their chosen sexual behavior. Minority status subsequently confers special privileges on those within that class which leads to hiring quotas, contracts for government businesses and a legal hammer to force acceptance upon society. What about the rest of us, the overwhelming majority who want to prevent our children from being inculcated by the schools into the homosexual lifestyle?
The homosexual political movement is hell bent on creating sexual and moral anarchy in our society.
By passing HB 4105, the Texas Legislature will be sending a forceful message to the U.S. Supreme Court and to the federal government that Texas is going to stand and affirm our state’s sovereignty and sole jurisdiction over family and marital law. Any ruling by the U.S. Supreme Court to the contrary would be illegitimate, lawless and unjust.
When the U.S. Supreme Court made the lawless Roe v. Wade decision, legalizing the killing of the unborn, states reacted by prohibiting the use of tax dollars for killing babies.
The Texas Legislature has the power of the purse and it is fully within its authority to prohibit the use of state and local tax dollars for the issuance of marriage licenses for homosexuals.
Representative Cecil Bell, Jr., as the primary author, has provided extraordinary leadership and has done a yeoman’s work in advancing HB 4105. He deserves our highest accolades and our deepest appreciation for his outstanding work in the face of fierce opposition.
This is the verse that many of us who have worked on this bill are claiming: “Through the Lord we shall do valiantly, and it is He who will tread down our adversaries.” (Psalm 108:13)
