Office Depot, Wells Fargo, Hilton big sponsors of LGBTQ Task Force gathering that promotes sadomasochism, multiple-partner unions, abortion and radical transgender agendas
A Homosexual Activist “Plays” with God’s Redemption Plan: This photo is taken from a promotional video trailer for the documentary “Corpus Christi: Playing with Redemption,” which follows around and celebrates the highly controversial play “Corpus Christi.” In the original play, the Jesus Christ character (Joshua) is cast as a homosexual who in his youth engages in homosexual sex with Judas. In the scene above, Joshua “marries” two of his male “disciples,” James and Bartholomew, shown kissing. AFTAH has blocked the deviant kiss in this screen shot. Click to enlarge.
By Peter LaBarbera [Story in Progress…]
Southwest Airlines is among the major corporate sponsors of the 2015 “Creating Change” conference, an annual event drawing thousands of homosexual, bisexual, transgender, “queer” and “kink” (sadomasochistic) activists from across the country. The massive gathering of LGBTQueer activists opens today in Denver and includes a screening of a documentary film celebrating a “gay”-authored play casting “Jesus” as a homosexual.
The documentary, “Corpus Christi: Playing with Redemption,” celebrates the 1998 play “Corpus Christi,” by homosexual playwright Terrence McNally, in which “Joshua,” representing Jesus Christ, is cast as a homosexual who as a teenager had homosexual sex with Judas (who later becomes his traitorous “disciple”).
In the play, Jesus (Joshua) also conducts a homosexual “marriage” between two of his other “disciples,” James and Bartholomew, and he rebukes religious leaders who say homosexual behavior is sinful. Those who oppose homosexuality and the proudly “queer” Joshua are cast as pharisaical haters, and Jesus (Joshua) is crucified as “King of the Queers” rather than the “King of the Jews,” as in Scripture. The play describes all the disciples (i.e, mankind) as “divine,” while Jesus as worldly. Here is an excerpt from the written play where Joshua (Jesus) “marries” James and Bartholomew:
Joshua: It is good when two men love as James and Bartholomew do and we recognize their union….Now take each other’s hand. Love each other in sickness and health. Respect the divinity in your partner, Bartholomew….I bless this marriage in Your name, Father. Amen. Now let’s all get very, very drunk.
Bartholomew: You are truly the Messiah, son of the living God.
[Note: I have seen neither the play nor the documentary, but I have read the full play by McNally–more excerpts of which are provided at below.–PL]
McNally’s original play–which has been labelled “gay hate speech” by Catholic advocate Bill Donohue— naturally and deservedly has been engulfed in controversy and protests at its showings over the last 17 years. This is not the first time that Southwest Airlines has helped fund a “gay” event where Corpus Christi: Playing with Redemption, was screened. In 2013, Southwest helped sponsor “Reelings 31,” a homosexual film festival in Chicago where the homosexual-Jesus documentary was shown.
Creating Change: as extreme as it gets
Creating Change (CC) is the annual organizing project sponsored by the National LGBTQ Task Force (Q is for “Queer”)–formerly the National Lesbian and Gay Task Force. The leftist Task Force is easily the most radical major “gay” organization: CC includes sessions and caucuses on Polyamory, pansexuality, transgenderism, and sadomasochism.
Every year Creating Change organizers give out a “Leather Leadership” award to their favorite “leatherman”–this year Mark Frazier, former president of the National Leather Association and co-owner of a homosexual “leather bar” called the Dallas Eagle. There are also sessions for pro-abortion activists.
Sponsors of Perversion and Anti-Christian Bigotry: Creating Change program lists the above as National Corporate Partners of the National LGBTQ Task Force.
Creating Change seems to grow every year; this year’s program is 160 pages long [see PDF HERE]. The program lists the National Corporate Partners of the Task Force as:
Southwest Airlines
Comcast/NBCUniversal
Wells Fargo
Hilton Worldwide
Office Depot
Showtime
Grey Goose Vodka
Other CC sponsors: AARP, Kaiser Permanente, Gilead (maker of the HIV-prevention PReP drug Truvada), Pepsico, Gill Foundation, JPMorgan Chase, and Chipotle.
The following are a few of the radical workshop sessions and caucuses at Creating Change:
The Biblical Case for Same-Sex Marriage
Being a Queer Teacher 101
PolyAnarchy
Queering Education: Struggles & Support
Porn This Way: Queering Porn
Queer & Sexy Parenting
Alternative Relationship Structures 101
Kink/BDSM/Leather Caucus
Practicing Kink: Let’s Get Visual
Empowering Trans Youth in Transition
LGBT Advocacy in the Evangelical Church
Queering Immigration
Bias in Statistics: Debunking Hate “Research” (we’re the “haters,” of course)
Beyond Choice: Reproductive Justice Organizing & Advocacy [abortion]
A Queer Church Beyond Inclusion
Rousing Catholics in the Age of [Pope] Francis
Battling Bigotry in the Black Church
Bi and Trans Adventures in Judaism
Turning Christian Opponents into Allies
The showing of the “gay-Jesus” documentary is part of the Task Force’s larger agenda of “re-writing” Christianity to accommodate homosexuality and gender confusion. Dozens of Creating Change workshops deal with the topic. On page 27 of the Creating Change program is a description of Corpus Christi: Playing with Redemption:
This is the entry for “Corpus Christi: Playing with Redemption,” a documentary that celebrates a play (Corpus Christi) that portrays Jesus Christ and his disciples as homosexuals and male lovers. The documentary will be screened Saturday at the homosexual Task Force’s “Creating Change” conference in Denver. Click to enlarge.

Discuss web-based intimidation network that is wearing down conservatives
Salem Radio host Janet Mefferd interviewed AFTAH’s Peter LaBarbera yesterday (Jan. 20, 2015) about Fox News’ decision to request that its nightly “Special Report” anchor Bret Baier pull out as a scheduled speaker at a Legatus conference after a homosexual activist complained that Legatus, a national Catholic businessmen’s group, is “very anti-gay.” Baier himself is a Catholic, and defended his withdrawal from the event. Fox News is a major donor to a homosexual journalists group. Click HERE for the MP3 audio link to the hour-long interview [or click on the image at right].
It may be easier to listen at Janet’s website audio player: [go HERE].
The two also discussed Hollywood’s current obsession with promoting homosexuality and gender confusion.
Here is Mefferd’s website description of the show:

Both justices performed homosexual “marriages”
No Justice: U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is hardly impartial on the issue of homosexuality-based “marriage’ (just as she isn’t on abortion). According to AFA, Ginsburg has “officiated” at five counterfeit same-sex “weddings.” Justice Elena Kagan has also performed sodomy-based “marriage” rituals. AFA says both “activist” justices should recuse themselves from SCOTUS cases on the issue.

Kagan and Ginsburg: Recuse Yourselves!
American Family Association Says Supreme Court Justices Should Step Down on SCOTUS Marriage Cases
[Note: AFTAH has added quote marks around the word “marriage”–as in same-sex “marriage”–in all non-quotation references to the term in the original release–to preserve the natural, age-old understanding of the word.]
TUPELO, Miss.—The issue of same-sex “marriage” in America has divided the country this past year, with state, district and federal courts issuing ruling after ruling.
In light of the U.S. Supreme Court’s announcement that it will hear the issue, American Family Association (AFA, www.afa.net) says Supreme Court Justices Elena Kagan and Ruth Bader Ginsburg should recuse themselves from making any same-sex “marriage” decisions because they have both conducted same-sex marriage ceremonies.
“Both of these justices’ personal and private actions that actively endorse gay marriage clearly indicate how they would vote on same-sex marriage cases before the Supreme Court,” said AFA President Tim Wildmon. “Congress has directed that federal judicial officers must disqualify themselves from hearing cases in specified circumstances. Both Kagan and Ginsburg have not only been partial to same-sex marriage but they have also proven themselves to be activists in favor of it. In order to ensure the Court’s integrity and impartiality, both should recuse themselves from same-sex marriage cases. Congress has an obligation to Americans to see that members of the Supreme Court are held to the highest standards of integrity. The law demands it, and the people deserve it.”
AFA sent an Action Alert to its one million-plus supporters, asking them to write a letter to their members of Congress, urging them to remind members of the nation’s highest court of their charge to maintain impartiality. Title 28, Part I, Chapter 21, Section 455 of the U.S. Code titled “Disqualification of justice, judge, or magistrate judge,” states that “Any justice, judge, or magistrate judge of the United States shall disqualify himself in any proceeding in which his impartiality might reasonably be questioned.”
Kagan performed a September 21, 2014, same-sex “marriage” ceremony for her former law clerk and his partner in Maryland. And Ginsburg performed a same-sex “marriage” ceremony at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington D.C., in August 2013.
OneNewsNow.com, AFA’s news service, also reported that Ginsburg has officiated at least five same-sex “marriage” ceremonies.

Folks, I know we’re three weeks into 2015, but these videos get my award for the smartest pro-family activism of 2014. Congrats to Theodore Shoebat–the son of ex-radical-Muslim-turned-Christian Walid Shoebat–for exposing the hypocrisy of homosexual activists, or at least those who would force Christian and moral-minded small businessmen to violate their conscience in the name of “gay equality.” Watch it on YouTube HERE.
Shoebat asks pro-homosexual bakeries to make anti-homosexual “marriage” cakes (that say, “Gay Marriage Is Wrong”) and watch what happens. And for the record, AFTAH completely supports the right of bakers of any political or religious persuasion to refuse to bake cakes that convey ideas with which they disagree. It’s called Freedom. Of course, that includes Christian, Orthodox Jewish or Muslim bakers who are asked to celebrate homo-sexual immorality (e.g., “Gay Pride”) and counterfeit, sodomy-based “marriage.” This is Part 1, and Part 2 follows after the jump; they were published December 12, 2014.–Peter LaBarbera, AFTAH.org; Twitter: @PeterLaBarbera

Fox News-enforced Political Correctness: Anchor Bret Baier [e-mail: special@foxnews.com] confirms that Fox News requested that he pull out of a Jan 28-29 conference for the Catholic group Legatus. Baier chided a Legatus writer for not being “loving” enough, and for calling homosexuality a “disorder.” Yet the Catholic Catechism teaches that both homosexual behavior and inclinations are “disordered.” Meanwhile, FOX News funds a “gay journalists” group that promotes sexual behavior condemned by the Catholic Church and the Bible. [See Peter LaBarbera’s in-depth report on Fox’s pro-homosexual bias and funding of an activist-minded homosexual journalists association HERE.] [E-mail: special@FOXNEWS.COM]
-
Anchor cites Pope Francis in agreeing with network decision to withdraw as speaker;
-
Baier says Legatus writer not “loving” enough; criticizes calling homosexuality a “disorder” even though that is Catholic teaching;
-
Gov. Mike Huckabee, Austin Ruse sign up as new Legatus speakers, defying “Gay Thought Police”
-
Do Bret Baier, Gary Sinise and Pete Coors owe Legatus and Catholics an apology?
By Peter LaBarbera
The following e-mail note was sent Friday by Fox News’ “Special Report” anchor Bret Baier [E-mail: special@FOXNEWS.COM] in response to an AFTAH newsletter subscriber who wrote him expressing concern over Baier’s decision to pull out as a scheduled speaker from a conference later this month by the Catholic group Legatus. [See previous AFTAH story on Legatus HERE.]
As you can read below, as justification for abandoning his commitment to Legatus, Baier criticizes a Legatus writer who wrote about “same-sex attraction disorder” for not being “loving” and “accepting” enough–e.g., for referring to homosexuality as a “disorder.” However, Baier, who describes himself as a “lifelong mass attending Catholic,” might want to study up on his own Church’s moral teachings. The Catholic Church Catechism describes the homosexual “inclination” as “objectively disordered,” and same-sex acts as “intrinsically disordered.”
The good news is that Legatus has had no trouble filling the politically correct speakers’ void, with former GOP presidential contender Mike Huckabee–a former Fox News host himself–sending a powerful message by leading the pack of new speakers advertised for the January 28-29 summit. Joining Huckabee are Catholic pro-family activist Austin Ruse and ex-CEO and professor Harry Kraemer.
Also, as AFTAH reported, Louisana Gov. Bobby Jindal never buckled to “gay” activist pressure by remaining as a speaker [call Gov. Jindal at 225-342-7015], and New York Catholic Cardinal Timothy Dolan will say a Mass at the Legatus event.
Bottom Line: Fox News’ Values Upside-Down
Here is the bottom line of this controversy: Fox News directly finances and sponsors pro-“gay” media events that promote homosexual behavior and ideology–including same-sex “marriage”–condemned by the Catholic Church. They also recruit at these activist-oriented events: see their sponsorship of last year’s National Lesbian & Gay Journalists Association (NLGJA) conference in Chicago, attended by this writer, and my in-depth special report on Fox News pro-“gay” bias and ongoing funding of the NLGJA.
At the same time, Fox News apparently discourages its on-air talent from participating in wholesome, faith-based events that uphold traditional sexual morality, e.g., those espoused by longstanding Catholic Church teachings on sex and marriage.
What a shame. The good news is that more and more Americans despise the upside-down world of political correctness and the emerging “gay activist hecklers’ veto” that demonizes pro-family leaders and groups with the loaded accusation of being “anti-gay” and falsely smears them as being “hateful” merely because they uphold historic Judeo-Christian morality.
Enough is enough. Thank you, Mike Huckabee and Austin Ruse (Center for Family and Human Rights) for defying the intolerant “Gay” Censors! [Contact Huckabee HERE and Ruse at (202)393-7002.]
Personally, I believe Fox News and Bret Baier–as well as actor Gary Sinise and businessman Pete Coors—owe an apology to Legatus and all faithful Catholics–and defenders of biblical morality everywhere. Here is Legatus’ gracious media statement on the speakers situation. AFTAH will have more on this story. Full contact information to reach Baier and the others can be found HERE.–Peter LaBarbera, AFTAH

To order “Making Gay Okay: How Rationalizing Homosexual Behavior Is Changing Everything,” through Amazon, go HERE.
Folks, this is a wonderful and important interview by my friend Cliff Kincaid of America’s Survival’s with Robert Reilly, author of “Making Gay Okay: How Rationalizing Homosexual Behavior Is Changing Everything” [order through Amazon HERE]. The interview occurred July 4, 2014, which is appropriate as Mr. Reilly is an American patriot–having served this nation with distinction in the Armed Forces and in various esteemed positions including the director of Voice of America (2001-2002). Sadly, as Reilly states in this video, he would not even be considered for the top job at VOA–or any other government agency–today given the hysterical nature of pro-“gay” political correctness.
I’m finally reading “Making Gay Okay” and can already say that it is an immense contribution to the literature opposing the normalization of homosexuality in our culture. Go HERE to view the Ignatius Press page for the book. — Peter LaBarbera, AFTAH

Peter LaBarbera is the founder and president of Americans for Truth About Homosexuality.
This Crosstalk began with news that on December 22nd, a judge issued a ruling in a case involving Peter who was arrested while protesting with Bill Whatcott at the University of Regina in Saskatchewan. Peter was put in jail for one night and charged with criminal mischief. The charge was thrown out in the recent ruling. [See AFTAH article HERE.]
Jim then updated listeners with a statement from the pro-homosexual organization known as the Human Rights Campaign as they looked back at 2014. Peter followed up by noting that what the homosexual community couldn’t pass through the people, they attempted to obtain via the courts.
As the program continued, Jim had Peter comment on the following:
- Same-sex divorce;
- The increasing acceptance of polyamory;
- The push for special rights for transgender individuals;
- The Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA);
- Homosexual bakers refusing to bake cakes for Christian weddings;
- Support for alternative family lifestyles through the product known as Tylenol and LGBT support from Walmart [see AFTAH story HERE];
- Tim Cook at Apple references God to justify his homosexuality [see AFTAH stories HERE and HERE];
- The Obama FDA and their desire to modify the homosexual blood donor rules;
- The arrest of homosexual activist (and Human Rights Campaign and Gay & Lesbian Victory Fund co-founder) Terry Bean for allegedly sodomizing a 15-year-old boy;[see AFTAH stories HERE]
- The LGBT influence in sports.

Jeb Bush: GOP Too “Anti-Gay”: Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush worries that Republicans come off as being too “anti-gay.” He said Floridians need to “respect the rule of law” after a Clinton-appointed judge struck down the state’s marriage-protection amendment, passed by 62 percent of the Sunshine State’s voters in 2008.

It is becoming apparent that Jeb Bush is the favorite Republican Party presidential contender of the Washington Blade—D.C.’s “gay news source”–due to his politically-correct evolution on homosexuality and same-sex “marriage.”
The Blade and other liberal media report favorably every time the former Florida governor moves away from the conservative, pro-family, Republican platform defending marriage as between man and woman.
On January 5, the “gay” Blade happily reported that Bush “struck a softer tone” with his nuanced response to District Judge Robert Hinkle’s overthrow of Florida’s pro-natural-marriage amendment, which had passed with 62 percent of the vote in 2008. Here is Bush’s wishy-washy reaction to the Clinton-appointed judge’s outrageous overreach:
“We live in a democracy, and regardless of our disagreements, we have to respect the rule of law…I hope that we can show respect for the good people on all sides of the gay and lesbian marriage issue – including couples making lifetime commitments to each other who are seeking greater legal protections and those of us who believe marriage is a sacrament and want to safeguard religious liberty.”
Rule of law? What rule of law?! Perhaps a few hundred thousand Republicans–of the 4,890,883 Florida voters who cast ballots to preserve the common-sense definition marriage–might demand an answer from Bush to this question:
“Why should we respect a judge’s ‘evolving-Constitution’ interpretation of the law when the same judge shows zero respect for We the People—as he arrogantly casts aside the people’s clearly expressed will against legalizing homosexuality-based ‘marriage’?”
Of course, such trivialities as rendering nearly five million Florida votes meaningless matter little to the “gay” Blade, whose reporter cooed:
“While [Bush’s] remarks don’t signal support for the right of same-sex couples to marry, they’re a shift in tone from comments the former Florida governor made to The Miami Herald in which he said states should decide the marriage issue. [Bush said:} ‘It ought to be a…state decision…The people of the state decided. But it’s been overturned by the courts, I guess.’”
A few weeks earlier, under the gushy headline, “Is Jeb a kindler, more gay-friendly Bush?” the Blade reported excitedly Bush’s complaint that Republicans come off as being too “anti-gay” (and anti-immigrant, etc.).
