I was deeply moved by this speech, and which everyone could hear it. As if this young woman wasn’t already brave enough, as she spoke she was heckled by crazed, pro-trans protesters trying to drown out her and other speakers by yelling things like “[F–k] you, Fascist.” (Like fascists and communists everywhere throughout history, American leftists routinely try to shout down, or shut down, speech they do not like.) This rally at the state capitol was part of a GOP-led effort in Tennessee to ban so-called “gender affirming transition care”–mutilations masquerading as trans “surgeries” and cross-sex “hormone therapy”–for minors. Folks, this is an important presentation by my good friend Doug Mainwaring, who is as brave and principled a pro-family advocate as I’ve ever known. Doug, who is ex-“gay” and writes for LifeSiteNews (where I once worked), has been a leading, albeit lonely, voice in urging the Right not to abandon the traditional, age-old conservative defense of Judeo-Christian morality. In this case, that means NOT latching on to a newfangled, libertarian brand of “conservatism” that not only tolerates, but celebrates homosexual unions–you know, the Republican ones (think Dave Rubin, Rick Grenell, Guy Benson, etc.)–ostensibly for political gain.
Last I checked, there was no “GOP exception” in Romans 1 and other passages of the Bible proscribing homosexual behavior as sinful. Moreover, among the many reasons to oppose legalized same-sex “marriage” (no matter what the courts rule) is that it provides a launching pad for the inevitable pleas to recognize “gay unions” in the Christian Church, always in the name of compassion. Normalizing sexual perversion is not and never will be a “conservative” value, nor a compassionate one.

Under the guise of LGBTQ+ activism, the calendar is being exploited again. We’ve been through pride month, now it’s LGBTQ history month, while today has been declared National Coming Out Day. With these days of recognition comes an avalanche of behaviors, legislation and other societal changes that are clearly unscriptural.
Returning to Crosstalk for the latest news concerning LGBTQ activism was Peter LaBarbera. Peter is the founder and president of Americans for Truth. Jim had Peter comment on the following news items.
National “Coming Out” Day. Originally this was about simply coming out as homosexual. According to Peter, the significance is that this was a strategy. Homosexual activists knew that the effect would be to reduce the opposition by making people less likely to speak out against homosexuality as well as redefining what’s considered normal. The result is that all these years later it’s metastasized to include those “coming out” and identifying as being one of the many other perverse identities society now recognizes.
An adult drag queen is identifying as a child. So how can you prosecute someone who identifies as an 8 year old if they molest another 8 year old?
Congressman Mark Pocan of Wisconsin has introduced 2 pieces of legislation. One is H.R.9070. This would establish within the Smithsonian Institution, the National Museum of American LGBTQ+ History and Culture. It already has 64 co-sponsors. He’s also introduced H.R.9071 that would establish a commission to study the potential creation of a national museum of LGBTQ+ history and culture.
A homosexual couple in New York is suing the city government because under the city’s current insurance policy they don’t qualify for fertility treatments, yet they claim they have a right to parenthood even though their biology doesn’t allow for it. As a result, they’ve filed a class action complaint against the city. They claim that since both of them are male and biologically incapable of naturally procreating, that they meet the medical definition of being infertile and thus they’re entitled to insurance that will cover the cost of using a woman to have a baby for them.
A judge has ruled that those in polyamorous relationships are entitled to the same legal protections as married couples.
The Scooby-Doo cartoon now presents Velma as a lesbian.
This is just a brief summary of points discussed during the early portion of the program. There’s much more that’s examined, and as you’ll see, it’s all about normalizing perversion. Jim and Peter present the evidence that proves why, on this Crosstalk broadcast.
Below are the 45 House Republicans who joined 220 Democrats in voting for the pro-homosexual “marriage” bill, named the “Respect for Marriage Act,” H.B. 8404, which passed the House July 19, 2022. Not a single Democrat voted against the bill, which pro-natural-marriage critics have dubbed the “Disrespect for Marriage Act.”

Respect for Marriage Act
This bill provides statutory authority for same-sex and interracial marriages.
Specifically, the bill repeals and replaces provisions that define, for purposes of federal law, marriage as between a man and a woman and spouse as a person of the opposite sex with provisions that recognize any marriage that is valid under state law. (The Supreme Court held that the current provisions were unconstitutional in United States v. Windsor in 2013.)
The bill also repeals and replaces provisions that do not require states to recognize same-sex marriages from other states with provisions that prohibit the denial of full faith and credit or any right or claim relating to out-of-state marriages on the basis of sex, race, ethnicity, or national origin. (The Supreme Court held that state laws barring same-sex marriages were unconstitutional in Obergefell v. Hodges in 2015; the Court held that state laws barring interracial marriages were unconstitutional in Loving v. Virginia in 1967.) The bill allows the Department of Justice to bring a civil action and establishes a private right of action for violations.

BRUCE JENNER ERASED:Bruce Jenner shown on the iconic Wheaties box after winning decathlon gold in the 1976 Olympics in Montreal, competing as the biological man that he was (and is today). After Jenner’s “gender transition” to faux womanhood under the name “Caitlyn Jenner,” websites like the History Channel rewrote their headlines about his Olympic victory so that “Caitlyn” became the champion. Christian conservatives: Do not put your trust in Fox News Michael Brown on network hiring ‘Caitlyn’ Jenner: ‘It has lost its voice and sold its soul’
For those who have watched Fox News over the years, it is no surprise that they announced the hiring of Bruce “Caitlyn” Jenner with great fanfare and hype. In the words of CEO Suzanne Scott, “Caitlyn’s story is an inspiration to us all. She is a trailblazer in the LGBTQ+ community, and her illustrious career spans a variety of fields that will be a tremendous asset for our audience.”
Perhaps these words could be used as an epitaph on Fox’s legacy. Mark the day carefully.
All the talking points are in order in Scott’s short, effusive statement: Jenner’s transition from Bruce to Caitlyn is “an inspiration to us all.” This famous biological male is “she.” And LGBTQ+ activism is something to celebrate. You go, girl!
Surely this is the death knell for Fox, even if it remains large and influential for decades to come. It has lost its voice and sold its soul. And with what moral authority can Fox call on Jenner to speak against “Lia” Thomas competing against women? Is this Fox’s new message? “Transitioning is fine and sex and gender are whatever you perceive them to be. Just play fair!”
But, to repeat, this should come as no surprise to those who have watched Fox over the years. Although some of the biggest names on the station were Catholic (such as Bill O’Reilly and Sean Hannity), it was clear that O’Reilly’s views were hardly Bible-based.
The same with Megyn Kelly and others, whose names I mention not to demonize them but simply to say, “They are hardly basing their worldview on the Scriptures.”
As for Hannity, as much as he identifies proudly as a Christian, he had no trouble having Jenner on as a guest last year, not to criticize him but to interview him as a California gubernatorial candidate.
To quote Jenner’s words during the interview, “For me as a trans woman, I think role models are extremely important for young people.”
What? Jenner a role model for young people?
The transitioning of young people is nothing less than child abuse. (More on this in a moment.) And Hannity didn’t object?
Jenner continued, “Trans issues people struggle with, big time. Our suicide rate is nine times higher than the general public. And for me to be a role model for them, to be out there, I am running for governor of the state of California. Who would have ever thunk that? We’ve never even had a woman governor.”
So Jenner, already crowned “Woman of the Year” by Glamour, would be California’s first “woman governor.”
