This video comes courtesy of Illinois Family Institute, along with a terrific article by IFI’s Laurie Higgins. Illinois State Representative Tom Morrison is a good man, and certainly undeserving of this vicious smear by fellow State Rep. Kelly Cassidy. So many LGBTQ activists like Cassidy now view any opposition to their expansive and very radical agenda as “hate,” and then they rail against “hate speech”–and even support anti-“hate speech” laws like the one in Canada, which are inimical to America and our First Amendment. The transcript of Morrison’s floor speech is below the video. — Peter LaBarbera, AFTAH.org
Transcript of St. Rep. Tom Morrison’s floor speech:
For these past several weeks, we’ve been hearing facts about women’s history month, and I’m sure that we’ll hear more facts today and this week. When we hear those words, we think about our own mothers, wives, daughters, other notable women throughout history. We objectively know what a woman is, but it’s become increasingly common now to pretend that we don’t know. This is becoming George Orwell’s 1984. It’s Newspeak. It’s gaslighting. It’s activists pounding the table to declare that two plus two equals five. And that does not make it so. Demands that society accept lies as facts in the name of tolerance, inclusion, and justice is anything but. It’s not right, compassionate, or just. This past weekend, the NCAA allowed a man to become a national champion in women’s swimming. This action was months and years in the making, and it denied that rightful place of honor to actual female athletes, several of whom were denied being named All Americans because their place was taken by University of Pennsylvania swimmer Lia Thomas. Anyone who thinks that fairness in sports competition is the only issue here is missing the point. Months ago, teammates of Lia Thomas complained to school officials that Thomas had exposed male nudity repeatedly in their locker room. This should have been a clearcut case of indecency and harassment, but university officials ignored the women’s concerns and discomfort. “Listen to women.” In this case, hardly. Parents in Los Alamitos, California last month sent their fifth-grade girls on a three-day overnight school science field trip. After the weekend concluded, the girls told their parents that three male counselors who identify as non-binary shared those cabin quarters with the girls for each of the nights. Schools in Illinois already have similar policies. And most parents don’t even know, nor will they be told by school officials, less they be accused of discrimination. In several states, including California, Washington State, and even here in Illinois, hundreds of male inmates, many of whom are serving time for sexual crimes or other crimes of violence are self-declaring as female or non-binary. And they’re getting a transfer to a women’s-only facility. There’s no requirement for surgery, no requirement for hormone therapy. Even if that did make the policy less bad, any sane person realizes how outrageous this is, but the practice continues and is expanding as more individuals realize what they can get away with. According to a press report, President Joe Biden is now reportedly planning or considering I should say an executive order modeled after the California law, which would allow federal inmates to self-identify their gender and choose between a male or female prison. Ideas have consequences. It is a minority of vocal activists who continue to push this ideology on all levels of society, including to young school children. It’s an ideology that is at war with reality, and we must stop blindly going along. We can and should be kind to individuals who suffer from gender dysphoria, but we can do so without completely and irrationally upending society, which is already happening at lightning speed. If we really believe in the protection of women and women’s rights, we must acknowledge the harms being done and bring a stop to this, including the silence and passive acceptance about what’s really going on. I imagine that here in this body, and perhaps beyond this chamber, there will be some who will try to condemn me and my words, but I’d like to close with these words by columnist Selwyn Duke: “The further a society drifts from the truth, the more it will hate those that speak it.” Thank you.
Folks, here is another terrific response by Christian conservative Allie Beth Stuckey to “homocon” (homosexual conservative) Dave Rubin’s announcement that he and his same-sex “husband” are acquiring two babies through surrogacy. [See Mark Dice’s video challenging “woke conservatives” like PragerU, Christopher Rufo and The Blaze for congratulating Rubin.]
Beyond the Rubin controversy, this is a stellar teaching video on Christian (and conservative) sexual morality that every person of faith–indeed, anyone working to “conserve” God’s wonderful, created order–would benefit from watching. Use this as a teaching tool for your children or grandchildren. I realize this is self-edited, but rarely are Christians this good at succinctly defending biblical morality and compassionate, “truth in love” outreach to wayward friends.
Kudos to Stuckey for her clarity of thought and for sticking to biblical principles in an age when that brings much condemnation from the self-righteous mob who have decided they know better than their Creator, if they even believe in Him. — Peter LaBarbera, AmericansForTruth.News; Twitter: @PeterLaBarbera; Gettr (just starting on this): @PeterLaBarbera
Below is Stuckey’s information provided along with her YouTube video:
Folks, I love this video by conservative activist and YouTuber Mark Dice. Here’s why:
Dice understands that if top “conservatives” like PragerU and Glenn Beck’s The Blaze [see the 6:00-minute mark above] have reached the point where they’re CONGRATULATING a homosexual man and his male lover (Dave Rubin and “husband”) for acquiring (buying) children through surrogacy–to create an intentionally motherless household–then there is no sellout too big for these compromised leaders.
He goes to the language, which has been utterly corrupted by LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer) activists working hand-in-hand with their morally-corrupt “media” allies. How can any serious “conservative” say a man has a “husband”? (And so what if that’s currently “the law,” per Supreme Court dictate? So is abortion-on-demand since 1973 and conservatives don’t accept that as legitimate.)
Dice calls out the ongoing moral phoniness of Conservative Inc. Today the current outrage is transgender nonsense, but remember when the hill worth dying on was homosexual “marriage”?! Now so many on the Right have “moved on” from that cultural issue, and here we are seven years after Obergefell celebrating intentionally motherless homosexual-led households.
Lastly, Christian conservative Allie Beth Stuckey did produce a video on why she cannot congratulate Dave Rubin; also, see also Dice’s Twitter feed for his exchange with Matt Walsh.–Peter LaBarbera, AFTAH; (here’s my tweet echoing Dice on Rubin)
Here is the “Crosstalk” interview I did Monday with Jim Schneider of VCY America. You can listen on the Crosstalk site HERE or on Sermon Audio HERE.
Jim and I touched on a lot of issues–none more important than the surge in LGBT affiliation of Gen Z Americans, according to a new Gallup poll. Americans For Truth will have much more on the stunning poll numbers shown in the Gallup graphic above.
After a caller raised the issue, I discussed the mixed record of Donald Trump on homosexuality and LGBTQ issues. Although Trump reversed Obama-imposed policies pushing transgender activism, he also did more than any powerful Republican to normalize homosexual behavior (including same-sex “marriage”).
The following is Crosstalk’s description of our interview:

A Nation Heading Down the Wrong Path…LGBTQ+ Issues
– by vcyamerica
We are a world in conflict, not just in terms of nation against nation, but also in the realm of morality. Immorality is abounding and it’s also growing. That’s important because not only does the Bible foretell that at the Lord’s return things will be as they were in the days of Noah, where man did what was continually evil, it will also be as it was in the days of Lot (See Luke 17:26-30).
What are the trends showing that we’re headed in that direction? Joining Jim to discuss those was Peter LaBarbera. Peter is the founder and president of Americans for Truth.
Here’s a selection of news items that Jim had Peter comment on:
A Gallop Poll from earlier this month indicates that the number of individuals in the U.S. identifying as LGBT is at 7.1%, up from 5.6% in 2020. Peter believes this is due to a mass propaganda effort. This shouldn’t be surprising when you see that children as young as four are being taught to question their gender identity.
The media “buzz” over Will Thomas, a biological male, now smashing records under the name of Lia Thomas while competing as a women’s swimmer at the University of Pennsylvania.
The Texas governor directed all his state agencies to consider transgender drugs and surgeries for minors as illegal child abuse.
Lincoln, Nebraska, passed an ordinance that recognizes all gender identities and at the same time they forbid any counseling of individuals about their same sex attractions or gender dysphoria.
A group of parents from a California elementary school were outraged when they discovered that a high school science camp allowed male counselors to sleep in the same room with 10 year old girls.
There are more LGBTQ+ individuals running for Congress in 2022 than ever before in the history of the U.S.
This list will be regularly updated and is not comprehensive. Some groups and websites below do not oppose all aspects of the LGBTQ agenda (e.g., those that focus solely on countering Transgender activism):

CDC – Centers For Disease Control and Prevention – cdc.gov — Although the CDC is decidedly pro-LGBTQ in its “orientation” (e.g., it routinely blames societal “stigma” for disproportionate health risks among homosexuals), this federal agency nevertheless documents the high risks of LGBTQ behaviors, especially among men. A simple web (Google) search on “MSM” (men who have sex with men) and “YMSM” (young men who have sex with men) yields an abundance of papers detailing the extraordinary health risks associated with unnatural homosexual sexual behaviors. The past year saw the escalating and audacious censorship of conservatives by Left-biased Big Tech corporations, culminating in Twitter’s stunning ban against President Donald Trump a year ago. Americans For Truth About Homosexuality (AFTAH), too, was a target: on September 23, 2021, we received an email out of the blue from Mailchimp informing us that the email distribution company was permanently shutting down AFTAH’s paid email account, which we had had for almost a decade.
As you can see below, Mailchimp cited a general breach of its “Standard Terms of Use,” which contains a proscription of “Hateful Content” (see below), but it did not provide a specific “violation” on AFTAH’s part, i.e., an example of allegedly hateful or discriminatory content. When pressed for such an example by this writer, Mailchimp merely reiterated in a follow-up note that, “We’ve determined that we can’t support this account.”
Below is the correspondence sent by Mailchimp, which was recently acquired by Intuit, with the reply by this writer:

To Whom It May Concern at Mailchimp:
I was stunned to receive your notice today of an “Acceptable Use” violation by Americans For Truth (user ID: 9610693), leading to my suspension, as I have not even sent out an email through my Mailchimp account in at least a year. Obviously, I will need to acquire my entire mail list (please inform me how to do that), but first I would like to know exactly what constitutes my “violation.” I am extremely disappointed in Mailchimp for this communication, in which you did not even have the decency to tell me what “crime” I had committed. This is the antithesis of good service, and such maltreatment of customers is precisely why so [many] people are leaving companies like yours.
Frustrated and outraged,

The following is a portion of Mailchimp’s Standard Terms of Use policy relating to alleged “hateful conduct” (emphasis added). Note that given the pro-LGBTQ movement’s and allied “progressives'” penchant for conflating moral opposition with “hate,” the bolded portion on “Hateful Content” could easily provide a pretext for taking action against AFTAH, which (while eschewing all violence against and actual hatred of LGBTQ-identified persons) opposes all pro-homosexual, pro-transgender and Sexual-Left behavior and advocacy as a matter of principle:
Mailchimp doesn’t allow accounts that promote or incite harm toward others or that promote discriminatory, hateful, or harassing Content. To this end, we may suspend or terminate your account if you send a Campaign, create or manage a Site, or otherwise distribute any Content that we determine, in our sole discretion, contains either of the following:
A Threat of Physical Harm. This means any statement, photograph, advertisement, or other Content that in our sole judgment could be reasonably perceived to threaten, advocate, or incite physical harm to or violence against others.
Hateful Content. This means any statement, image, photograph, advertisement, or other Content that in our sole judgment could be reasonably perceived to harm, threaten, promote the harassment of, promote the intimidation of, promote the abuse of, or promote discrimination against others based solely on race, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, religious affiliation, age, disability, disease, or immigration status.
We also may suspend or terminate your account if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you are either:
an organization that has publicly stated or acknowledged that its goals, objectives, positions, or founding tenets include statements or principles that could be reasonably perceived to advocate, encourage, or sponsor Hateful Content or A Threat of Physical Harm;
a person that has publicly made a comment or statement, or otherwise publicly made known a position, including by membership in an organization as discussed above, that could be reasonably perceived as Hateful Content or A Threat of Physical Harm; or
a person or organization that has acted in such a way as could be reasonably perceived to support, condone, encourage, or represent Hateful Content or A Threat of Physical Harm.
Mailchimp also does not allow the distribution of Content that is, in our sole discretion, materially false, inaccurate, or misleading in a way that could deceive or confuse others about important events, topics, or circumstances.
If you violate any of these rules, then we may issue a warning to, suspend, or terminate your account.
Here is an interesting opinion column by Steve Gallagher of Pure Life Ministries, a Kentucky-based ministry that applies biblical principles to help men and women overcome sexual sin. You can contact them HERE and sign up for the Pure Life email newsletter HERE (at the bottom of the page). Let us dedicate ourselves in the New Year to reaching out in love and truth to sinners (like us) with the message that forgiveness and life transformation are possible when people humbly repent of their sins and accept Jesus Christ. –Peter LaBarbera, Americans For Truth; Twitter: @PeterLaBarbera

Is Homosexual Sin Worse than Heterosexual Sin?
By Steve Gallagher, Pure Life Ministries, originally published 12/21/21; reprinted with permission.
This is one of many hot-button questions in our day and age. Many years of well-intentioned Christian activism against homosexuality in our country has left the gay community with the impression that Christians are self-righteous and intolerant. Be that as it may, it is still a worthwhile issue to consider.
Before we get into that question, we will need to narrow down our categories a little to make sure we are measuring “like with like.” For instance, a man raping a woman is far worse than two men hooking up for casual sex. So simply putting homosexual activity up against heterosexual sin is too broad of a comparison. Perhaps a better way to ask the question would be, “Is homosexual promiscuity worse than heterosexual promiscuity?” Here we have two similar behaviors distinguished solely by gender orientation.
Despite hopes for a spiritual and moral revival, the worst terror assault ever on the USA did not turn Americans back to God.
We’re catching up in our posts, but this is distressing news from June, testifying to the massive effects of incessant and ubiquitous media propaganda on behalf of the LGBTQ lobby: Gallup reports:
Support for gay marriage at 70% for first time
A majority of Republicans now support same-sex marriage
Support among older adults has reached the 60% mark
