Video: ‘Dark Agenda’ Author David Horowitz Discusses Left’s War on Christian America

Wednesday, April 22nd, 2020

This excellent speech a year ago by former leftist David Horowitz is worth 50 minutes of your time. If you’re like me, you will learn a lot of things you probably should have known–such as the short, innocuous prayer that was part of the Supreme Court’s 1962 ruling (Engel v. Vitale) stripping prayer from our public schools. Enjoy. — Peter LaBarbera, AFTAH.org; Twitter: @PeterLaBarbera

“Almighty God, we acknowledge our dependence upon Thee, and we beg Thy blessings upon us, our parents, our teachers and our country. Amen.

Homosexuality Has Become Holy Grail to the Left — LaBarbera on HBO’s John Oliver’s Bunny Book Attack on Pence

Wednesday, March 28th, 2018

AFTAH in the News: intolerant “progressive” LGBTQ cheerleaders have become more “fundamentalist” than Christian “fundamentalists”

HBO late-night host John Oliver’s “children’s book mocking one by the vice-president’s daughter, Charlotte Pence, promotes homosexuality and same-sex “marriage” to children.

The following piece about HBO late-night host John Oliver’s nasty stunt, featuring comments by AFTAH, is from One News Now, the daily news site produced by our friends at American Family Association (AFA founder Don Wildmon received the first Americans For Truth “Truth Teller” award in 2009).

I am struck by the sheer meanness of self-righteous “progressives” and their obsession with homosexualism (and gender rebellion), which seems to have surpassed unlimited abortion as their Holy Grail. — Peter LaBarbera, Americans For Truth; Twitter: @PeterLaBarbera; [email protected]

P.S. The main problem with Charlotte Pence’s response to Oliver’s mock-book is that we should never applaud a book that corrupts children, as his does (by celebrating homosexual “marriage” and demonizing those who oppose it). Also, the LGBTQ group that benefits from Oliver’s book, Trevor Project, is hardly a “charity” as it pushes for laws to shut down pro-heterosexual change therapy for minors. But who can blame Charlotte Pence for trying to pivot away from the hateful attacks of “progressives” against her father and her family?

Pence’s Daughter One-betters Late-night Host

By Steve Jordahl, One News Now, March 19, 2018

A mean-spirited late-night host is mocking a children’s book simply because the authors are related to Vice-president Mike Pence.

Second-Daughter Charlotte Pence and her mom, Karen, wrote a kids book about Charlotte’s pet rabbit, Marlon Bundo, who has become popular on social media. It’s called, A day in the Life of the Vice President.

But late night television host John Oliver appears to believe that no one with the name Pence should be allowed out in public.

I would love to say, ‘Fine, it’s a fun, sweet book about a rabbit … Who gives a [expletive]?’” Oliver expressed on his show. “But unfortunately, one of the stops on that book tour is at Focus on the [expletive]-ing Family. So, congratulations, Pence, you’ve even managed to ruin Marlon Bundo.”

Not being content to just harangue the Pences with foul language, Oliver then decided to hit where he thought it would hurt the Pences most.

“We also wrote a book about Mike Pence’s rabbit that has also been published,” the vitriolic host continued. “You’ll notice right away that our rabbit has a bow tie, so there’s that. Also, our story is about Marlon Bundo falling in love with another boy rabbit because our Marlon Bundo is gay.”

Focus on the Family Vice President Paul Batura says the ministry is honored to have the Pences stop by.

“I’m not shocked that late-night TV would spoof or would mock, but I think it sort of goes to a new low to do it with a children’s book – to try and politicize something that’s clearly positive and fun and innocent, really,” Batura shared.

Meanwhile, Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth insists that celebrating homosexuality has become the Holy Grail to the left.

“Ironically, they despise biblically faithful Christians, but they’re more fundamentalist in their anti-faith than most Christians are with their faith,” LaBarbera insisted.

Shining above Oliver, Charlotte Pence is taking the high road. On her twitter feed, she has a picture of Marlon with a bow tie. On it, she wrote, “Not gonna lie, I do look pretty fly in a bow tie. The only thing better than one bunny book for charity is TWO bunny books for charity.”

VIDEO – Homosexual Activists Hold ‘Queer Dance Party’ Protest Party Outside Pence’s Temporary DC Home

Friday, January 20th, 2017

Protesters say ‘F- you” to Pence; can you imagine media’s reaction if conservatives did this to Obama’s VP?

WARNING: Explicit language from immature LGBTQ leftists in video

Folks, this is from our friends at Media Research Center; see the MRC NewsBusters story that accompanies the video HEREAs I tweeted:

“Petty, mean, spoiled, classless, hateful, intolerant, morally corrupt: LGBTQ leftists throw “queer” party outside Pence’s temporary DC home.”

The most ironic line from the protesters in this video is when the guy yells out, “We choose love over hate!” Are you kidding me? Vice President Mike Pence, a very decent man, has been on the receiving end of a non-stop barrage of LGBTQ activist and “progressive” *hate* since Trump picked him as running-mate. Thank God these leftists lost on Nov. 8. American needs a very long break from their self-righteous, destructive foolishness. — Peter LaBarbera, AFTAH; Twitter: @PeterLaBarbera

WARNING: explicit language. MRCC covered the “Queer Dance Party” through Mike Pence’s neighborhood Wednesday night. WATCH: We caught on camera everything from “f*ck you” interviews to vandalism to poking fun/dancing circles around a lone Trump supporter.

Micah Clark on Pearl Harbor, FDR and the Leftward Drift of the Democratic Party

Wednesday, December 7th, 2016

Micah Clark, president of American Family Association of Indiana, writes on this 75th anniversary of the Japanese sneak bombing attack that drew America into World War II that killed 2,403 Americans and wounded 1,143. It was FDR who famously called December 7th “a Day that will live in infamy” in his speech asking Congress for a Declaration of War against Japan. Clark writes:

“Re: As we remember Pearl Harbor Day (Dec. 7th)… FDR said:

“The world is too small to provide adequate living room for both Hitler and God. In proof of that, the Nazis have now announced their plan for enforcing their new German, pagan religion all over the world — a plan by which the Holy Bible and the Cross of Mercy would be displaced by Mein Kampf and the swastika and the naked sword.” President Franklin Roosevelt’s State of the Union Address, Jan 6, 1942

“…Not too bad for a liberal Democrat…Note in contrast how secular and far to the Left the Democrats are today. If a Republican said this today–even after a terrorist attack–he’d be blistered by every newspaper and TV talking head in America for mixing church and state.”

Gary Bauer: ‘The Left Must Think We Are All Idiots’

Black Lives Matter

Black Lives Matter: Firmly on the Left. The above combines graphics from the “Guiding principles” page on the BLM website. The organization defines itself as “Queer Affirming” and “Transgender Affirming.”

Whether it’s downplaying the radicalism and deceit of Black Lives Matter or puffing up Alfred Kinsey–the pervert whose (pedophilia-inclusive) pseudo-science helped launch the “gay” revolution in postwar America–leftists can always count on the liberal media to advance their narrative. Below Gary Bauer ably summarizes the Left’s double-standard modus operandi on violence and racism:

PS. Did you know that Black Lives Matter is radically pro-“queer”?— @PeterLaBarbera, AFTAH

Clueless Or Ignorant?

Progressives and socialists constantly come to conclusions about the motives of whole groups of people with virtually no proof to justify their views. For example, when working class Christians did not rally to Obama’s banner in 2008, he said it was because they were bitter and clung to their guns and Bibles.

If a professor has a run-in with the police, as happened early on in his administration, without little knowledge of the facts, Obama concluded that the police acted stupidly.

After the tragic confrontations in Baton Rouge and Minneapolis, the facts of which are still largely unknown, leftists everywhere concluded that racism motivated the police officers to shoot Alton Sterling and Philando Castile.

When a large number of minorities are in jail, the Left insists that is evidence of racism in the justice system rather than evidence of crime in minority communities.

Canadian Judge Finds LaBarbera, Whatcott Not Guilty of ‘Mischief’ Charge for Protesting at University of Regina

Tuesday, December 23rd, 2014

AFTAH President Peter LaBarbera being arrested at the University of Regina. Yesterday, Judge MaryLynne Beaton rejected the university's claim that a peaceful protest at U-R against abortion and sodomy somehow interfered with students' education.

JUDGE SAYS NO TO CAMPUS CENSORS: AFTAH President Peter LaBarbera being arrested at the University of Regina last April. Yesterday, Saskatchewan Provincial Judge MaryLynne Beaton rejected the university’s claim that a peaceful protest at U-R against abortion and sodomy somehow interfered with students’ education. Canadian pro-family advocate Bill Whatcott–who with LaBarbera was arrested on a “Mischief” charge–says he will return to the camps to disseminate biblical truth.

“I find that the purpose of (their) attending the University of Regina was to communicate information and their actions were passive and non-aggressive,” Judge Beaton wrote. “The university’s response was disproportionate to the peaceful distribution of flyers.” [page 14, decision]

_________________________

Saskatchewan Provincial Court Judge Marylynne Beaton ruled yesterday that AFTAH President Peter LaBarbera and Canadian pro-family advocate Bill Whatcott are not guilty of criminal “mischief” after being arrested and jailed April 14, 2014 after peacefully protesting and disseminating factual literature at the University of Regina–against the wishes of school administrators.

In the 27-page decision, available HERE, Judge Beaton relied heavily on Whatcott’s claim under Canada’s Charter of Rights and Freedoms that he had a right to disseminate his religious views–and rejected the notion put forth by the prosecution that the two pro-family activists disrupted the educational mission of U-Regina.

Below is YouTube of a Regina Leader Post audio-story with Whatcott’s reaction to the decision, and beneath that the print report by the Leader-Post. You can go to Whatcott’s website HERE, and beneath that an excerpt the Leader-Post’s story on the decision.

Said LaBarbera in response to the ruling:

“I am gratified by Judge Beaton’s well-reasoned decision, and I congratulate my friend Bill Whatcott for once again leading the way in challenging Canada to live up to her ideals of liberty and freedom of conscience. It is preposterous in a country that claims to be free to criminalize dissenting speech at a public university. Yet this is what University of Regina administrators sought to do by cowardly attempting to banish Bill Whatcott and me from their campus. In the process they dishonored their students–who deserved better than clumsy attempts at censorship justified by condescending and odious appeals to ‘protect’ them from ‘hate.’

“Hopefully, this ruling will open up the door to a resurgence of true tolerance and freedom in Canada. The Left in Canada, as in the United States, does not want debate but rather control. They fear unfettered exposure to moral truth and compelling facts about homosexuality–hence their campaign to silence Christians and others who speak out against sexual immorality and gender rebellion.

“The very fact that I was detained and searched at length twice by Border police upon entering Canada–merely because I and AFTAH espouse historic, biblical, Judeo-Christian teachings on homosexuality–reflects escalating ‘thought tyranny’ and anti-intellectualism in Canada which, if allowed to take root, will only lead to more rigid repression against believers in this great land.”
