Peter LaBarbera is the founder and president of Americans for Truth About Homosexuality.

This Crosstalk began with news that on December 22nd, a judge issued a ruling in a case involving Peter who was arrested while protesting with Bill Whatcott at the University of Regina in Saskatchewan. Peter was put in jail for one night and charged with criminal mischief. The charge was thrown out in the recent ruling. [See AFTAH article HERE.]

Jim then updated listeners with a statement from the pro-homosexual organization known as the Human Rights Campaign as they looked back at 2014. Peter followed up by noting that what the homosexual community couldn’t pass through the people, they attempted to obtain via the courts.

As the program continued, Jim had Peter comment on the following:

• Same-sex divorce;
• The increasing acceptance of polyamory; 
• The push for special rights for transgender individuals;
• The Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA);
• Homosexual bakers refusing to bake cakes for Christian weddings;
• Support for alternative family lifestyles through the product known as Tylenol and LGBT support from Walmart [see AFTAH story HERE];
• Tim Cook at Apple references God to justify his homosexuality [see AFTAH stories HERE and HERE]; 
• The Obama FDA and their desire to modify the homosexual blood donor rules;
• The arrest of homosexual activist (and Human Rights Campaign and Gay & Lesbian Victory Fund co-founder) Terry Bean for allegedly sodomizing a 15-year-old boy;[see AFTAH stories HERE]
• The LGBT influence in sports.

Folks, here is the link for my September 26 interview with Christian Salem Radio talk show host Janet Mefferd [Click HERE to listen]. We discussed the Human Rights Campaign’s vicious “Export of Hate” report that smeared me and others in the pro-family movement as dark figures spreading “hate” around the world. In the interview I compared our treatment at the hands of “gay” propagandists to the Nazis’ dehumanization and demonization of Jews.

To make me look extreme, “gay” activist Jeremy Hooper of the powerful homosexual media advocacy group GLAAD absurdly extrapolated from my quotes in the interview to suggest that I was claiming (literally) that pro-family conservatives could expect to be victims of genocide, etc., identical to the Jews. Jeremy’s analytical skills are wanting to say the least–and he mischievously didn’t even include a reference or link to the actual HRC report with its obviously demonizing and dehumanizing graphics–which, after all, was the entire subject of our interview! [See Hooper’s sophomoric and dishonest GLAAD post HERE.]

MALIGNING PEOPLE OF FAITH: This dehumanizing graphic (of AFTAH president Peter LaBarbera) by the homosexual lobby group Human Rights Campaign in its nasty “Export of Hate” report was the subject of  the Janet Mefferd interview.

I tried to explain on Twitter to Hooper that I was referring to Nazi propaganda that dehumanized Jews, e.g., portraying them as rats, but he would have none of it. Then I asked Mefferd for her response to Hooper’s exaggerated take on our interview, and she responded in an email to me below:

“You clearly made the comparison ONLY in the context of “demonization,” not — by the wildest stretch — in the context of forced incarceration and/or genocide [like the Jews under Hitler]. It would be interesting to have read Jeremy’s analysis about the HRC report itself, but he doesn’t even mention it. And what is that report, if not the intentional demonization of Christian leaders who are standing up for marriage? The crux of the problem is that Jeremy approves of what the HRC wrote, while Christians don’t. Why not just address that subject directly, minus the pejoratives?”

In the past it was reported that one in ten individuals was said to be homosexual. In fact, in 2011 there was a Gallop Poll indicating that Americans thought that 25% of the population was homosexual. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has now released a survey indicating that 1.6% of the adult population is gay and lesbian with .7% being bisexual. This means the LGBT community only makes up 2.3% of the total American population. [See AFTAH story on the 2.3% figure HERE.]

• A new executive order signed by President Obama that applies to businesses that do business with the government that bans “discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity.”

Stemberger says senior BSA official admitted to him that new “gay” policy “will increase boy-on-boy sexual contact.”

John Stemberger has overseen the formation of a new, wholesome alternative to the Boy Scouts of America — which sold out to the immoral homosexual activist agenda by opening its membership to boys who openly identify as “gay.” Stemberger founded OnMyHonor.net.

Here is Part Two of AFTAH’s interview with “On My Honor” founder and CEO, John  Stemberger [click HERE to listen], who is also President and General Counsel of the Florida Family Policy Council. Stemberger discusses On My Honor’s upcoming inaugural 2013 National Leadership Convention in Nashville (Sept. 6-7) — where this new wholesome alternative to the (now pro-homosexual) Boy Scouts of America will unveil its new name and logo. Stemberger compares the new organization’s policies to the BSA’s (which he says is slated to lose 200,000-400,000 members). He says that one of the highest-ranking officials in the Boy Scout organization admitted to him privately: “This [the BSA’s new pro-“gay” policy] will increase boy-on-boy sexual contact” [listen at 12:20]. Folks, it is always a pleasure and a privilege for me to sit down with my good friend (and former boss) Sandy Rios for an interview, which I did Tuesday, as a guest on her “Sandy Rios in the Morning” show on American Family Radio (AFR Talk) network. (AFR is part of Don Wildmon’s wonderful organization, American Family Association.) In this interview [click HERE to listen] with Sandy — who is also a FOX News Contributor and the vice-president of Family-Pac Federal — we discuss media distortions of the pope’s recent comments about not judging “gay people.” I point out that the pope did not disavow but actually affirmed Catholic teaching, which proscribes ALL pro-homosexual advocacy and legislation. In fact, Pope Francis specifically stated that “the problem is lobbying by this [sexual] orientation” and compared that to lobbying on the basis of a greedy “orientation.” I tell Sandy:

The last thing that the Catholic Church needs is more homosexual priests…. The devastation that they wrought — the whole penetration of the Church [by] homosexual pederasts [who] got into the church ….by [relaxing] the rules to get in [the priesthood]… They molested boys and teenagers [which is consistent with] …the whole history of homosexuality and pederasty…Then they covered up the pederasty. They moved these priests around. And now the same homosexual activists say, “Well, you can’t believe the Catholic Church because they harbored pedophilia!” So homosexuality has done incredible devastation to this Church…But you listen to homosexual activists and it’s like they don’t acknowledge that. It’s so bizarre…Homosexual activists never take responsibility for their own behavior and the repercussions from it.

Rios agrees and notes that the “homosexual activist movement …is very narcissistic. Everything is about them….”

Next we discuss homosexual activist strategy (basically, more lawsuits) following the Supreme Court’s landmark rulings that cleared the way for recognition of homosexuality-based “marriages” by the federal government, and in California despite that state’s Prop 8 vote. Later, former homosexual Christopher Doyle, a former homosexual and director of International Healing Foundation, discusses “Ex-Gay Pride Month” and his take on why Exodus International leaders Alan Chambers and Randy Thomas brought about the downfall of that “ex-gay” umbrella organization.

This interview with John Stemberger [click HERE to listen], founder of OnMyHonor.net, was recorded today, July 18, 2013. Stemberger describes the formation of a new boys organization that will provide a wholesome alternative to the pro-homosexual Boy Scouts of America (BSA). [Watch an introductory video HERE.] The new boys organization [later named “Trail Life USA”] will be devoted to building good character among boys, centered on biblical principles. The new group holds its first national convention this September after holding a recent planning meeting of national pro-family leaders in Louisville, Kentucky. Stemberger, who is also president and general counsel of the Florida Family Policy Council, led the grassroots coalition effort to stop the Scouts’ tragic cave-in allowing openly homosexual youth members. (He explains how the BSA voting process on the proposed pro-“gay” change was weighted heavily in favor of the Scouts, in part because BSA leaders would not reveal who was voting.)

Stemberger clarifies the membership requirements for boys — saying that no immoral sexual behavior or advocacy of any kind will be tolerated in the new organization. He said if a boy struggles with same-sex issues (or other issues), it will be seen as a “ministry opportunity” in the organization — which, unlike the Scouts, will be explicitly Christian. (Membership will be open to boys of all religions and backgrounds.) Regarding the BSA, he said that within a couple of years, it will be driven by the courts to allow openly homosexual adult Scoutmasters, which will further cripple that once-noble organization. Stemberger said the BSA was done in by the paid “professionals” who ran the organization, who ultimately were not dedicated to upholding the BSA’s principles. This interview with pro-family advocate (and AFTAH Board Member) Matt Barber was taped June 27, 2013. It focuses mainly on the Supreme Court decision striking down Section 3 of DOMA, the Defense of Marriage Act, which was passed overwhelmingly by Congress in 1996 and signed into law by President Bill Clinton. Barber is Associate Dean of the Liberty University School of Law and Vice President of Liberty Counsel Action. He writes a weekly column for WND.com, and was thrust into the pro-family movement after being suddenly fired by a Fortune 500 corporation in 2005 after writing a column on his own time critical of homosexual activism.

Dave Smith of Ilinois Family Institute led the grassroots campaign to stop a homosexual “marriage” bill in Illinois. The bill was stalled despite Democrats possessing super-majority control of both House and Senate.

This is Part One of our interview with David Smith [click HERE to listen], Executive Director of Illinois Family Institute, which led the grassroots, pro-family coaltion effort to stall a homosexual “marriage” bill, SB 10, in Illinois. (Proponents of the bill, lacking the votes, did not call it for a vote by May 31, the last day of the legislative session. However, SB 10, which passed the Senate, remains alive to be called when legislators are back in session, through the lame-duck session in January 2015.) This interview was recorded June 6, 2012. Smith tells AFTAH President Peter LaBarbera and co-host John Kirkwood that the key to victory was the diverse grassroots opposition to the bill, especially the strong opposition from Black and Latino Christians. He describes how half the Black legislators in Springfield (all Democrats) ultimately declined to back the homosexual “marriage” bill, and calls its failure to pass in an Illinois General Assembly with Democratic super-majorities in both House and Senate a “miracle.” Smith also notes the well-funded lobby campaign on behalf of the same-sex “marriage” bill — including dozens of paid lobbyists — which far surpassed (monetarily speaking) that of pro-family advocates for natural, man-woman marriage. He said that the ability of grassroots citizens to stop SB 10 “marriage” in deep-blue, Democratic-dominated Illinois shows that “gay” activists and pundits are wrong in asserting that the national triumph of homosexuality-based “marriage” is “inevitable.”
