Wow, confident pro-life advocacy from the White House. What a welcome contrast to eight years of social leftism under Obama. We know that opposition to abortion does not automatically translate into resistance to the homosexual-bisexual-transgender agenda. But, pro-family folks, here is our mission field: the millions of Americans who stand up boldly for the unborn.
There is no true justice in defending life but not defending natural marriage, or not defending children against the push to indoctrinate them in aberrant sex and gender “identies” and “lifestyles.” We must not honor God by rallying to support innocent life but then dishonor Him by acquiescing to deviant reconfigurations of marriage and family. (Why again is Walmart selling Heather Has Two Mommies?) Rather, we must be all about the whole Truth. Remember that homosexualism, too, is anti-life.
As Vice President Pence stated, 44 years ago the Supreme Court turned away from the “timeless ideal” of the inalienable right to life. But just two years ago, the Court in its arrogance–helped by Obama’s treachery–turned away from God’s wonderful plan for marriage as uniting the sexes to create children and families. As Prepared for Delivery –
On behalf of President Donald Trump, my wife Karen, and our daughter Charlotte, I’d like to welcome you all to Washington, D.C. for the 44th annual March for Life.
And I am deeply humbled to be the first Vice President of the United States to ever have the privilege to attend this historic gathering.
More than two-hundred and forty years ago, our Founders wrote words that have echoed through the ages.
They declared “these truths to be self-evident.” That we are, all of us, “endowed by our Creator with certain unalienable rights,” and “that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.”
Forty-four years ago, our Supreme Court turned away from the first of these timeless ideals.
But today, three generations hence, because of all of you, and the many more who stand with us in marches just like this across this nation, life is winning in America again.
That is evident in the election of pro-life majorities in the Congress of the United States.
But it is no more evident than in the historic election of a president who stands for a stronger America, a more prosperous America, and a president who I proudly say stands for the right to life – President Donald Trump.

On Wednesday night, an estimated crowd of 200 queer folks and LGBT activists shook their booties and danced their way to VP-elect Mike Pence’s neighborhood. And the media were all over it.
“We are here tonight to send a clear message to Daddy Pence that we will not tolerate bigotry and hate in our country,” yelled organizer Firas Nasr amidst cheers at the protest gathering point. “We are here today to take the streets as our dance floor,” he continued. “Through dance, we choose to embrace one another, we choose to choose love over hate!”

SAN DIEGO, July 25, 2016 — Christian Newswire/ — Dr. Tim F. LaHaye (photo above), the son of a Detroit autoworker who grew up to become a respected pastor, international best-seller and prominent evangelical leader, died July 25, 2016 in a San Diego area hospital, just days after suffering a stroke. Born in Detroit, Michigan on April 27, 1926, he was 90 years old.
Dr. LaHaye, an Air Force veteran, is perhaps most noted for his blockbuster best-selling book series “Left Behind,” which he co-authored with Jerry B. Jenkins.
“Thrilled as I am that he is where he has always wanted to be, his departure leaves a void in my soul I don’t expect to fill until I see him again,” Jenkins said of his co-author’s passing.
Over seven decades Dr. LaHaye influenced others from the pulpit, in books, the political arena and at home.
Jenkins said that Dr. LaHaye had become a “spiritual giant” to him.
“The Tim LaHaye I got to know had a pastor’s heart and lived to share his faith,” Jenkins said. “He listened to and cared about everyone, regardless of age, gender, or social standing. If Tim was missing from the autograph table or the green room of a network television show, he was likely in a corner praying with someone he’d just met-from a reader to a part-time bookstore stock clerk to a TV network anchorman.”

Thorner: Robert Reilly Keynotes Annual AFTAH Dinner-Banquet

The Americans for Truth annual dinner-banquet was held on Saturday, October 17 at Christian Liberty Academy in Arlington Heights, IL. The Church of Christian Liberty, Calvin Lindstrom, pastor, provides oversight for the Academy as one of its ministries, though students and parents are not required to be members or attend the church. Pastor Lindstrom succeeded his dad, Dr. Paul Lindstrom, in 2002, who was the founder of Christian Liberty Academy and the Church of Christian Liberty.
Peter LaBarbera is founder & president of “Americans for Truth About Homosexuality (AFTAH),” a non-profit group, founded as a part-time venture in 1996, but later reorganized in August of 2006. AFTAH remains a rare single issue group that seeks to apply the same single-minded determination to opposing the radical homosexual agenda and standing for God-ordained sexuality and the natural family, as countless homosexual groups do in promoting their agenda.
John Kirkwood, Pastor at Grace Gospel Fellowship in Bensenville, Illinois, and a weekly contributor for Clash Daily, was on hand to assist LaBarbera in the night’s activities.
In his opening remarks, Peter LaBarbera informed attendees that his organization, “Americans for Truth” will be moving from its Illinois headquarters to Washington D.C. where there is a greater media platform to get his message out. Despite the change of name, the group’s purpose will not change. LaBarbera used to work in Washington, D.C., so he has a network of friends to draw upon. LaBarbera, however, did promise to come back to Illinois every year hold the annual AFT banquet at Christian Liberty Academy.
Following the “Pledge of Allegiance” led by LaBarbara and the prayer by Pastor Lindstrom, two short clips were shown prior to dinner being served. By far the most disturbing one was a clip about Emily who is now Emmett. View here the imbalanced 6-minute segment on the sad story of a 17-year-old teen from Gurnee, Illinois. “Emmett” Paschal (née Emily), who attends Warren Township High School, is a girl who wishes she were a boy. “Emmett” recently underwent a double mastectomy and began taking the cross-sex steroid testosterone in her quest to conceal her objective biological sex.
Peter LaBarbera reasoned that medical decisions requiring body disfiguring operations should be delayed until adulthood. Further comments by LaBarbara mentioned 1) the existence of a Chicago Leather Archives which is referred to in tourist guides as a museum, even though this facility contains pedophile information, and 2) the sponsorship of this year’s gay parade in New York City by Walmart to which many children viewed when brought by their parents.
Linda Harvey of “Mission America” condemns “Inequality and Injustice Act”
Linda Harvey, founder of “Mission America”, was introduced by Peter LaBarbera as the night’s first speaker. LaBarbera used the occasion to announce that Harvey would be the keynote speaker at next year’s “Americans For Truth” banquet.
“Mission America” is an American Christian organization based in Columbus, Ohio founded in 1995 that seeks to “cover the latest cultural and social trends in our country and what they might mean for Christians. This media ministry of Linda Harvey is an outgrowth of her Christian faith and a successful career in journalism, marketing and public relations. Her articles have appeared in national publications, including the Internet news site World Net Daily.
Harvey spoke about the “Inequality and Injustice Act” [pro-LGBTQ “Equality Act”] which cannot be permitted to pass. Its purpose is to change the 1964 Civil Rights codes. The bill in the House is designated as HR 3185, while in the Senate it is listed under S 1858. So far there are 170 sponsors in the House, no Republicans, but they are vulnerable to caving in. If enacted, the deceptively titled Equality Act would punish dissenters who disagree with same-sex marriage by using the enforcement tools of the amended Civil Rights Act of 1964, but with even greater force and scope. The Equality Act seeks to weaponize Obergefell, moving with lightning speed from a contentious five-to-four victory on same-sex marriage to a nationwide rule that “sexual orientation” and “gender identity” are privileged classes that give no quarter to Americans who continue to believe and seek to exercise their millennia-old religious belief that marriage and sexual relations are reserved to the union of one man and one woman, Harvey said.
Jack Roeser, a phenomenally successful entrepreneur, leading Illinois conservative philanthropist and a faithful AFTAH and pro-family benefactor, passed away June 13 at the age of 90.
I got to know Jack long after he had achieved his business success. I remember a decade ago when he gave me a tour of Otto Engineering–which he started humbly in his basement in 1961 in Park Ridge, Illinois (childhood home of Hillary Rodham Clinton)–and which makes specialty electronic and communications products, including control switches for American fighter jets. Though by this point Jack was retired from day-to-day operations at Otto, he was hardly detached as he proudly explained the history of Otto, including products he invented that were still key to the company’s success.
It was Jack’s ingenuity and determination that builtOtto. A friend, relaying a conversation with Jack, told how he was awarded a coveted supplier contract by simply out-hustling much larger, competing corporations and by demonstrating Otto’s ability to rapidly turn around his innovative switch design. Jack was truly a classic American success story–a living testimony of what one person can accomplish in a free society that rewards hard work and creativity. [See this Breitbart tribute to Jack.]
A little-known legacy of Jack’s is how Otto’s continued growth and success dramatically transformed the small town of Carpentersville, Illinois, where it is based. Otto, now run by Jack’s son, Tom, employs around 600 people in its beautifully-restored factory complex on Main Street along the Fox River. In 2008, Tom and Jack launched a remarkable home renovation project, Homes by Otto, that has rejuvenated Carpentersville, one gutted-and-rebuilt house at a time. It is a model for private industry and charity doing efficiently what governments the world over have failed to do despite their profligate spending of taxpayer dollars (think HUD projects). So Jack’s legacy of productive and compassionate conservatism lives on through his son. I guess the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree after all.

Fighting the Left
Jack was an engineering genius with more than 50 patents, but he was no fan of the Left’s social engineering. He possessed the wisdom and common sense of a more grounded and God-fearing generation that instinctively knows the difference between right and wrong. Scoffing at the idea of legal “same-sex marriage,” he didn’t need to be convinced of the immorality of homosexuality–and the folly of promoting it through the government as a “civil right.”

Like many of you, I’m a big fan of Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (Republican). He fought off the Left in that state and enacted some key fiscal reforms that have turned Wisconsin around. But I was stunned to see a Bloomberg Report where the Governor backed ENDA — the pro-homosexual, pro-transgender Employment Non-Discrimination Act — which will vastly grow homosexual/transgender activist power in the United States if it passes the House. There is a powerful push by LGBT activists and “moderate” Republicans to make the Party pro-homosexual. Every conservative I have told about Walker’s statement has been shocked by it — yes, “change” is coming fast and hard in the GOP. All Christians and pro-family Americans (even non-Republicans) should fight those working to erode the Party’s values. A pro-family activist who works to expose the truth about homosexuality is deeply disappointed in Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker’s recent statement in defense of his state’s Employment Non-Discrimination Act.
In an appearance on Bloomberg TV last month, Governor Walker – whose name has come up in recent discussions as a possible GOP presidential candidate – praised the state’s non-discrimination protections for homosexual workers. The Republican leader also suggested that the U.S. House of Representatives should consider passing a federal ENDA because there have only been “limited problems” with it in Wisconsin. At the same time he also steadfastly defended the state’s ban on same-sex “marriage,” saying Wisconsin has struck a “healthy balance” of rights for LGBT people.
“First of all, people – especially Christians – are being persecuted all over the nation under these so-called ‘sexual orientation non-discrimination laws,'” he notes. “So if Christians are already being persecuted under state and local gay rights laws, why would you support a federal gay rights law which is only going to give the homosexual lawyers more power to oppress people of faith?”
LaBarbera hopes the governor will change his position on ENDA.
“I think he’s getting bad advice from the libertarians who basically want the Republican Party to jettison the social issues,” he suggests. “Governor Walker has to see that Christians and pro-family people of faith make up the grassroots conservative army that is the strength of the GOP. And so I hope he still changes his mind on this.”
LaBarbera says it’s sad to see many Republicans selling out when it comes to the homosexual rights agenda. He believes one can’t support ENDA and religious freedom at the same time.
