These interviews were recorded April 12, 2011, and aired April 16th [CLICK HERE to listen]. In the first part of the show, Pastor Ken Hutcherson of Antioch Bible Church in Redmond, Washington, discusses his new project to rally Christians nationwide in support of DOMA, the 1996 Defense of Marriage Act. He launched it after President Obama suddenly announced through his Attorney General that would stop defending in court Section 3 of DOMA, which defines marriage in federal law as between a man and a woman. Already Hutcherson is being lambasted by homosexual activists, but he said the response among Christian leaders, including his friend Dr. James Dobson, has been outstanding. The RealClearPolitics article by Matthew Franck to which AFTAH president Peter LaBarbera refers in the interview is HERE. (Hutcherson did a wonderful three-part interview with AFTAH last year [Click HERE for Part One]; spoke at our banquet in October; and received the 2010 AFTAH ‘Truth-Teller’ Award.)
Linda Harvey
The second half of the show features Linda Harvey, founder and president of Mission America, which co-sponsored our recent and highly informative Truth Academy in Columbus, Ohio, where she lives. Linda discusses that and the recent story that she broke about the ‘Gay-Straight Alliances” Facebook site of GLSEN (Gay, Lesbian, Straight Education Network) containing photos for a pornographic homosexual hook-up site, and photos for other inappropriate websites including a “Gay Thailand Today” site promoting sex tourism. Linda tells how she was informed about the inappropriate GLSEN FB photos by a grandmother and pro-family advocate in New York who came upon them. Incredibly, after AFTAH advanced the Mission America exposé, homosexual bloggers led by Alvin McEwen — an AFTAH-hating extremist with a penchant for twisting facts — began speculating that Americans For Truth might have placed the photos on GLSEN’s Facebook page as a “homophobic smear” to “frame” this homosexual activist organization! Just one more lie from a movement built upon lies… (Linda too has previously been interviewed by AFTAH; click HERE for Part One of her two-part 2010 interview.)

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” (2 Corinthians 5:17)
I’m reading Denise Jones’ book, “Who Said it Couldn’t Be Done? A Diamond from the Rough.” It is a shockingly honest yet faith-building story of godly transformation, told by a woman who shouldn’t even be alive, so hellish was her past. This is one of those amazing life stories that deserves to be made into a movie, so let’s hope and pray that perhaps a Christian filmmaker — or someone in Hollywood who believes in real diversity — will take that up as a project (over the sure protests of the intolerant folk at GLAAD, the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation).
You can order Denise’ book through Amazon HERE. To visit her website, go to www.WhoSaiditCouldntBeDone.com. Her Facebook page is HERE, and you can write Denise at AuthorDeniseJones@gmail.com. We certainly hope to hear a lot more from Denise, and we give praise to Jesus Christ this Easter season for His wonderfully redemptive work in her life! — Peter LaBarbera, www.aftah.org
David Kupelian addressing the Truth Academy in Columbus, Ohio, April 1, 2011.
This is Part Two of our interview with David Kupelian, managing editor of WorldNetDaily.com, and author of “The Marketing of Evil,” and “How Evil Works.” It was pre-recorded on March 29 and aired April 2, 2011 — the final day of the Truth Academy co-sponsored by AFTAH and Mission America, for which Kupelian was the keynote speaker. In this interview, he ably discusses the matter of a practicing homosexual’s conscience — and why it is that so many homosexual activists become so angry at critics who affirm that homosexuality is wrong.

David Kupelian, author of "The Marketing of Evil" and "How Evil Works," is keynote speaker this Friday evening at the Truth Academy in Columbus OH (April 1-2).
Here is Part One of our three-part interview with David Kupelian, managing editor of WorldNetDaily.com and the keynote speaker at the Truth Academy: Columbus, Ohio, April 1-2. [Click HERE to listen.] This interview aired March 26. Kupelian is author of “The Marketing of Evil” and “How Evil Works.” Kupelian and AFTAH President Peter LaBarbera discuss notorious sex researcher Alfred Kinsey, who, incredibly, included “data” from child molesters in his groundbreaking volume, “Sexual Behavior and the Human Male.” Despite the fact that the book included actual tables containing the sickening information about timed child (and even baby) “orgasms,” this never became a big media story when the book was published in the 1950s. It took decades for pro-family researcher Judith Reisman to bring the scandalous information to the attention of the U.S. public.
LaBarbera notes that just one crusading journalist or media company — armed with the appallingly evil “data” — could have taken Kinsey and his entire project down. But Kupelian says that U.S. society at the time was in awe of scientists, and ripe for manipulation by Kinsey (who was a masochistic sex pervert from his youth). At some level, Kupelina says, Americans were morally compromised enough to allow Kinsey’s “junk science” to help usher in a looser morality for the culture (precisely his goal). The Kinsey “research” is still used to advance the norming of homosexuality in society. Learn more about the Truth Academy (early registration expires midnight, March 28th) HERE.

‘Moderation’ and avoiding homosexual issue were NOT the key to upset victory, says pro-family veteran
This pre-taped interview [click HERE to listen] with Brian Camenker of Mass Resistance aired on Chicago Christian radio station WYLL on March 19, 2011. Camenker discusses the successful grassroots effort in Maryland to stop a pro-homosexual “marriage” bill — which he helped by advising pro-family Md. activists and sharing with them what legalized “same-sex marriage” did to Massachusetts. AFTAH President Peter LaBarbera and Camenker discuss how the Maryland victory was NOT the result of careful, non-offensive packaging — i.e., avoiding the issue of homosexuality — that has characterized several statewide battles against homosexual “marriage.” They talk about Camenker’s advice below from the M.R. article, Maryland pro-family victory analysis: Top 10 reasons why it was WON when it looked like it would lose”:
They ignored the moderate conservative “expert”s.” Early on, a pro-family group made an effort to pull all the Maryland groups into a “coalition” under a unified leadership. They would dictate strategy. They also insisted that the pro-marriage message be tightly controlled, that it be “moderate” and not anti-gay or otherwise “fringe” sounding, be calm and not too emotional, and that they decide who testifies at the marriage hearings, and what the testimony would be. That’s what happened in Massachusetts in 2005-2007 and it led to a huge failure.
On our MassResistance conference calls we advised Maryland activists to ignore that — and act independently with their own messages, and be as emotional and outspoken as they feel appropriate. Luckily eventually everyone did that and the coalition effectively fell apart. It was the best thing that could have happened.

Truth Academy in Columbus Examines New Liberal Trend Labeling Christians as ‘Haters’ for Opposing Homosexual Agenda
CHICAGO— Americans For Truth about Homosexuality (AFTAH) is joining with Mission America to co-sponsor an educational “Truth Academy” April 1-2 in Columbus, Ohio, on how to respond to the aggressive homosexual-bisexual-transsexual agenda.
The theme is: “The Hate Labeling of Christians: Why It’s Happening and What We Can Do.” Key details follow:
When:Friday, April 1 (1:00 – 9:00 PM) and Saturday, April 2 (9:30 AM-3:30 PM); Truth Academy doors open Friday at noon; Friday evening dinner-lecture by award-winning journalist David Kupelian, WorldNetDaily editor and author, “The Marketing of Evil,” and “How Evil Works,” (Dinner is included in registration; see full hourly schedule HERE]
Here is Part Two of my radio interview [click HERE to listen] with Greg Quinlan, president of PFOX (Parents and Friends of Ex-Gays and Gays) and a speaker at next month’s Truth Academy co-sponsored by Americans For Truth About Homsexuality and Mission America (April 1-2, in Columbus, Ohio). This pre-recorded interview aired March 5, 2011. Quinlan walked away from homosexuality years ago and now helps others do the same. He also testifies across the nation (most recently in Maryland) against legalizing homosexual “marriage” and other LGBT activist agenda goals. You’ll want to listen to the interview for Greg’s informed answers to some common pro-homosexual objections to idea of leaving homosexuality (ex-“gays”). For example, he responds to those who say, “I prayed for God to remove my homosexuality and he didn’t answer my prayer.” (He stresses that homosexual strugglers who are committed to change can do so.)
Greg calls homosexuality a “wounding” — i.e., it develops as a maladaption to trauma, abuse or emotional wounds in a person’s life. Of course, as a very public former homosexual and one-time “gay” activist, Greg has been targeted by hateful LGBT militants like “Truth Win’s Out” founder Wayne Besen (who derides people trying to — as he mockingly puts it — “pray away the gay”). Today’s young people (and the rest of us) are inundated with “gay”-positive messages that glorify sin and undermine God’s Word. What a blessing it would be to expose a young person to the Truth Academy to hear Greg’s uplifting story in person. This is the first of a three-part interview with ex-gay Greg Quinlan [click HERE to listen], president of PFOX (Parents and Friends of Ex-Gays and Gays” and a consultant to the New Jersey Family Policy Council. This was pre-recorded and aired Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011. Greg describes his rocky childhood, his angry and unloving father, and his seduction into homosexual acts in his teen years. (Quinlan says nobody is “born gay,” and cites the shoddy research behind this canard.) He tells how he got involved as a volunteer for the Human Rights Campaign Fund, the original name of the homosexual lobby group Human Rights Campaign. Greg also recalls how he saw many of his “gay” friends die of HIV/AIDS, which added to his growing doubts about his sexual lifestyle. He also comments on President Obama’s decision not to fully defend the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA).
Quinlan is a speaker at AFTAH’s and Mission America’s upcoming Truth Academy in Columbus, OH, April 1-2 [go HERE for details], which has the theme: “The ‘Hate’ Labeling of Christians— Why it’s Happening and What We Can Do.”
