Fox News’ Shep Smith Goes Public with His Homosexual Problem

Monday, October 17th, 2016

No shock here:

  • Fox anchor silent as he was routinely “outed” by homosexual journalists;
  • Shep has history of making anti-conservative comments on air:
  • “Haters gonna hate,” he quipped about Kim Davis
  • Ridiculed 2012 “Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day,” calling it “National Day of Intolerance”

The Non-Secret Is “Out”: D.C.’s homosexual newspaper Washington Blade reported in 2014 that Shep Smith was a “closeted” (secret) homosexual. Here he attends a fund-raiser for the National Lesbian and Gay Journalists Association–which is funded by Fox News and other media corporations. Smith is the man on the farthest right. Read America’s Survival’s 2013 in-depth report on Fox’s escalation pro-homosexual bias HERE

Well, we called it on Shep, but so did just about every other conservative who is in the know about Fox News: the network’s afternoon news anchor, Shepard Smith, has publicly “come out” as homosexual, in an interview with Huffington Post. Notice that we reject the modern vernacular, that Shep “came out as gay,” because we regard every personal “coming out” embracing homosexuality as a tragedy. Shep is not nobly walking into truth, he’s publicly embracing a lie–identifying himself positively with a sexual sin.

The main reason we predicted this sad news is that Shep never denied it when homosexual “journalists” like the editors at OUT magazine routinely labeled him as a “closeted” homosexual. No normal guy doesn’t deny that. And a guy who is struggling to overcome unwanted same-sex desires doesn’t show up for happy photos at a homosexual journalists fundraiser (the same group that once auctioned off a male stripper to raise funds).

Also, Shep went out of his way–on air–to show his contempt for people like Christian Kim Davis (“Haters are gonna hate,” he quipped). Big clue.

Identifying publicly with a destructive and unnatural sin is a problem–not something to proud of, nor a natural identity, nor even a mere acknowledgement of an innocuous trait. We’re not buying it–as so many lazy thinkers in our country have–that Shep is inherently (or innately) “gay.”Hopefully one day he will ditch the lie and leave homosexuality behind, as so many people have.

In the HuffPo interview, Smith and his puff interviewer play up his “newsman” credentials–and he certainly is the guy to watch during, say, a terrorism crisis or natural disaster. But in covering cultural and political stories, Shep occasionally departs from objectivity and moves into–sometimes scathing–commentary that exposes his liberal bias. Exhibit A: his cheap shot at the hundreds of thousands of Americans taking part in Gov. Mike Huckabee’s 2012 “Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day” (see below).

As we have observed many times, “out” media elites have difficulty keeping their “proudly gay” politics from from influencing their public conduct. So we expect that the more comfortable Smith becomes in his “openly gay” shoes, the more he will let slip those unprofessional pro-“gay” quips that generally evince a contempt for religious and moral Americans.

And Fox News will continue to trend in a pro-LGBTQ direction, as it has since I wrote the 2013 America’s Survival report on the network’s growing pro-homosexual bias. — Peter LaBarbera, AFTAH; @PeterLaBarbera

Shepard Smith: the Next Anderson Cooper?

Is Fox News’ Shepard Smith the next Anderson Cooper? Shep raised a lot of eyebrows by snidely calling the “Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day” the “National Day of Intolerance” in his newscast.

AFTAH’s LaBarbera Stands with Dr. Michael Brown: No, Ted Shoebat, Jesus Would Not Have Killed ‘Gays’

Friday, February 19th, 2016

Shoebat slams LaBarbera as “filthy pig” for denouncing his holy-war approach toward homosexualism

Ted Shoebat

Ted Shoebat

“[W]e do not have the right to take the law into our hands and attack homosexual men and women. And if you have God’s heart of love and you want to see them saved and transformed, why would you want to beat them up?”–Dr. Michael Brown

______________________

Dear AFTAH Readers,

I support my friend and Christian leader Dr. Mike Brown in exposing the reckless rhetoric of Christian Ted Shoebat for condoning anti-homosexual violence. For my entire professional career in the pro-family and conservative movements, I have eschewed violence and real hatred against people caught up in homosexuality–and I’m not going to change now.

Recently, Shoebat viciously attacked yours truly as as a “filthy pig” because I–like Dr. Brown, Matt Barber and Linda Harvey and many other pro-family leaders–criticized his “holy war” approach toward the homosexual agenda. (See video below captured by the pro-homosexual organization People For the American Way’s “Right Wing Watch.“) [See the new Shoebat video criticized by Brown HERE; more on this controversy will follow.]

Some of my friends in the movement opposed to Big Gay Inc have opined that Shoebat sounds more like a fundamentalist Muslim than a Christian with his irresponsible rhetoric. Jihadist, Sharia-loving Islamists–not faithful Christians–advocate stoning homosexuals and pushing them off of tall buildings. Shouldn’t we emulate our Savior, Jesus Christ, who said to the Pharisees who were about to stone a woman they caught in adultery:

“Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her.” (John 8; see Matthew Henry commentary HERE)

And to the woman shown mercy the Lord said:

“Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?” She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said, “Neither do I condemn you; go, and from now on sin no more.”

We must, as Dr. Brown often says, Resist the homosexual-bisexual-transgender agenda, while Reaching Out to homosexuals with the Gospel and love of Christ. Having said that, I am not like one of those namby-pamby evangelicals or “cafeteria Catholics” who seeks an accommodation with homosexualism. Shoebat below derisively references “Chick-fil-A Christians”–but AFTAH was almost alone in challenging Chick-fil-A C.O.O. Dan Cathy’s regrettable 2014 capitulation to Political Correctness when he decided to “step back from the gay marriage debate.” This effectively sold out the many thousands of Christians who stood in line at CfA restaurants on “Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day” in 2012 to defend Cathy’s right to speak out for Truth in the Public Square. But more importantly, Cathy sold out his God. Not coincidentally, one of the people who advised Cathy to retreat on marriage was Shane Windmeyer, a homosexual activist (the founder of Campus Pridewhom Cathy had befriended.

Loving sinners biblically should not abet a sin movement, and going silent on homosexualism does just that.

In contrast, Mike Brown is not seeking the world’s favor. He ably works to achieve the right balance of loving homosexual and gender-confused strugglers while bravely challenging the LGBTQ-IAAM (“It’s All About Me”) sin lobby. Shoebat’s rhetoric not only justifies thuggery against homosexuals and does harm to the Gospel, as Mike states. It also makes it easier for “gay” radicals and their allies to advance legislation like the Criminalizing Christianity Act (aka LGBT “Equality Act”)–thus inadvertently helping them to extinguish the voice of believers in the culture. All in the name of “stopping anti-gay violence and hate.” — Peter LaBarbera, AFTAH; @PeterLaBarbera

No, Theodore Shoebat, Jesus Would Not Have Killed Gays

By Dr. Michael Brown

In a very troubling video, Theodore Shoebat, son of former Muslim Walid Shoebat, has claimed that if “sodomites” had walked into the temple of Jerusalem, Jesus would have killed them.

This is absolutely outrageous, totally unscriptural and downright dangerous.

Mr. Shoebat, I urge you to repent.

To be perfectly clear, I agree with Theodore that homosexual practice is detestable in God’s sight (as stated plainly in the Scriptures); I totally oppose same-sex “marriage”; and I firmly believe that homosexual activism is the principle threat to our freedoms of religion, speech, and conscience.

I also share Theodore’s abhorrence of the abusive acts of homosexual predators, just as I abhor the abusive acts of heterosexual predators.

At the same time, I categorically reject his encouragement of violent acts against homosexual men and women, and I renounce his statement that Jesus would have killed homosexuals who walked into the temple.

That is utter rubbish.

Chick fil-A CEO Dan Cathy Sells Out – Heeds Advice of ‘Gay’ Activist to Retreat on Pro-Natural-Marriage Advocacy

Chick-fil-A's new CEO, Dan Cathy, befriend homosexual activist and Campus Pride executive director Shame Windmeyer in the wake of the media hubbub over Cathy's defense of natural marriage. Now Cathy heeded Windmeyer's advice to pull back from publicly

Dear AFTAH Reader,

As usual, the Culture War over sexually immoral same-sex behavior is hot, and AFTAH is in the thick of it. We will have more on the regrettable backpedaling by Chick-fil-A CEO Dan Cathy, who says it was a “mistake” for him to speak out for natural marriage. The Atlanta Journal Constitution, which interviewed the chicken fast-food exec, reports:

“Cathy said he decided to step back from the gay marriage debate after prayer and conversations with co-workers and friends, including Shane Windmeyer, a gay supporter of marriage equality who helped Cathy understand why marriage was important to the gay community.”

Talk about snatching defeat out of the jaws of victory!

NOTE: Shane Windmeyer is a homosexual activist and the founder and executive director of Campus Pride, which aggressively pushes for the acceptance of homosexuality, bisexuality and transgenderism on college campuses. Gee, what a shock that Windmeyer wants his friend, Dan Cathy, to SHUT UP about homosexual “marriage”….Lesson for pro-family advocates: in my experience, when Christians “dialogue” with homosexuality activists, the “gay” activists usually end up winning the most concessions and biblical values are compromised.

I wish I could say I’m stunned, but I’ve grown used to Christians and “pro-family conservatives” selling out in the Culture War over homosexualism. As I told American Family Radio talk show host Bryan Fischer Thursday, the “Gay” Lobby is playing hard ball, and Christians are playing tee-ball. Click HERE to view a “Right Wing Watch” clip of my interview with Fischer. And go HERE to view a story in Huffington Post (“Huff Post Gay Voices”) about my comments. (Yes, HuffPo has its own “gay cheerleading” section–No Moral Voices Allowed!)

I told Bryan that Cathy “sold out” all those good Americans who–after all–had rallied by the hundreds of thousands to support his RIGHT TO SPEAK OUT for God’s natural design for marriage as between a man and a woman. I mean, isn’t that why so many people showed up on “Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day”–because we were sick and tired of people of faith being silenced by homosexual militants and their pro-LGBT media enablers?

Also, the Journal-Constitution reports, “Progressive website Think Progress earlier this month reported that Chick-fil-A’s foundations — WinShape Foundation and its namesake Chick-fil-A Foundation — “dramatically” cut donations to groups gay marriage supporters consider anti-gay.” AFTAH will be checking into this as well. How sad if this is true.

One last thing: isn’t it interesting that PRO-homosexual-“marriage” execs like Starbuck’s CEO Howard Schultz don’t retreat from publicly speaking out FOR counterfeit “marriage”? In fact, liberal corporations are more sold out than ever in publicly supporting–and funding–All Things “Gay”–so once again it’s the Christian, “pro-family” side that is engaging in unilateral surrender in the battle for Truth on homosexuality and marriage. Meanwhile, the Homosexual Lobby is louder and more aggressive than ever in pushing its lies and demands!

AFTAH will have much more on this story and other examples of Christian defeatism in the Culture War….

Republican Sen. Mark Kirk Accepts ‘Freedom’ Award from Homo-Fascist ‘Gay Equality’ Group that Tried to Force Chick-fil-A Out of Illinois

Friday, February 14th, 2014

Kirk honored by radical homosexual group that smear C-f-A’s “hate-filled homophobic ‘Chiken'” and tried to deny Christian-owned chain’s ‘freedom’ to do business in Illinois

Kirk_Equality_IL_Award

Republican U.S. Sen. Mark KIrk of Illinois accepts “Freedom” award from the state’s leading homosexual lobby group, Equality Illinois. The group ran a nasty albeit unsuccessful “Flick the Hate” pressure campaign to run Chick-fil-A restaurants out of the state–by petitioning their stakeholders to deny the popular fast-food chain’s leases. Chick-fil-A is expanding in Illinois, and now has 32 restaurants in the state.

By Peter LaBarbera

TAKE ACTION:

  1. Call or write Sen. Mark Kirk (R-IL) [202-224-2854; Chicago 312-886-3506; online Comment Form HERE] and urge him to stop rewarding anti-Christian bigotry. Ask him to return this “Freedom Award” from the hateful anti-Christian homosexual group, Equality Illinois–which in 2012 launched a failed pressure campaign to kick Chick-fil-A restaurants out of Illinois.
  2. Call or write the Republican National Committee [Contact Form HERE] and its Chairman, Reince Priebus [202-863-8500; choose ext. “1”], and urge them to stand firm against the aggressive Homosexual Lobby, which is targeting Christian leaders and businesses like Chick-fil-A for demonization. Tell Priebus that when Republicans like Sen. Mark Kirk embrace Democratic-type social liberalism, it only deflates the pro-family GOP grassroots. Lastly, urge Priebus to PUBLICLY oppose ENDA, the radical Employment Non-Discrimination Act. Thank Chairman Priebus for being publicly pro-life–but urge him also to make the case against “Big Gay Government” (e.g., ENDA)–and Obama’s push to nationalize “same-sex marriage”–as part of the RNC’s regular public Talking Points.

__________________________

Dear AFTAH Readers:

On Saturday evening (Feb. 8, 2014), U.S. Senator Mark Kirk (R-Illinois) was presented with the “Freedom” award by Equality Illinois, the state’s leading homosexual pressure group, at a swank fundraising banquet in Chicago. You can watch a video of the presentation below [or on YouTube HERE]. Sen. Kirk has become one of the most liberal Republicans on Capitol Hill on homosexual-related issues–with ever greater acts of pandering to the LGBT Lobby. (He came out for homosexual “marriage” and is pushing for passage of ENDA, the Employment Non-Discrimination Act [see homosexual activists release on Kirk and ENDA HERE], or–as we at AFTAH call it, alternatively the “Big Gay Government Act,”  “Gay Lawyers’ Dream Act,” or “ENDA Our Freedom Act”) [See an excellent Heritage Foundation report on the ENDA bill HERE.]

You might recall how Kirk–in a capitulation whose cowardice was eclipsed only by its pettiness–recently blocked the respected pro-family organization  World Congress of Families from securing a meeting room on Capitol Hill. This towering act in defense of “freedom” (sarcasm) came after the Senator heard complaints against WCF from some homosexual activists. World Congress, affiliated with The Howard Center, is based in Rockford, Illinois.

Thus it appears that Sen. Kirk’s conception of “freedom” matches that of his intolerant homosexual activist allies. In 2012, Equality Illinois launched a vicious and slanderous campaign to deny Chick-fil-A restaurants the “freedom” to operate in Illinois. As you can see below, EQ falsely accused C-f-A of “discriminatory policies” because the latter’s Chief Operating Officer, Dan Cathy, had spoken out publicly against homosexual “marriage” as tempting the judgment of God. The Chicago “gay” group launched this “Flick the Hate” petition campaign designed to boot the Christian-owned chicken fast food franchise out of several college towns:

Chick-fil-Equality-IL-Flick-the-Hate

The above is a web graphic from radical homosexual group Equality Illinois’ 2012 “Flick the Hate” campaign against Chick-fil-A. Many observers were shocked that any group would try to run a successful business OUT of Illinois, whose economy is suffering under long-running Democratic political dominance.

As you can see, Equality Illinois’ malicious campaign smeared Chick-fil-A and its COO, Dan Cathy, as representing “hate”–merely because Cathy disagreed publicly with “gay marriage.” EQ sought to petition stakeholders into cancelling their rental leases to the 19 Chick-fil-A restaurants then operating in Illinois. (Thankfully, they failed; there are now 32 C-f-A franchises in Illinois, according to the company’s website.) The EQ page reads, in part (emphasis theirs):

Chick-fil-A has 19 restaurants across Illinois, mostly on university campuses and in shopping malls. This petition will be give to key stakeholders in Illinois who lease, rent or allow Chick-fil-A to continue to sell their hate-filled homophobic “Chiken,” asking them to cut ties….

That kind of hate has no place in a business, especially in Illinois. It is a shame to be associated with such extreme intolerance and hate.
