Mozilla and the Reality of Homo-Fascist Bigotry: ‘Gay’ Activists Pressure CEO Brendan Eich to Resign

Another scalp for Big Gay Inc. means diminishing freedom of conscience for Americans

Brendan Eich

Ideology over Performance: Brendan Eich is extremely qualified to be Mozilla”s CEO. He just thinks the wrong way about the preservation of natural marriage–according to LGBT militants–igniting a homosexual activist campaign against him.

By Peter LaBarbera

In the type of story that has become all too common, the Los Angeles Times reports: “Just days after taking the job, Brendan Eich has resigned as chief executive of Mozilla, the maker of Firefox, after coming under fire for his 2008 support of Proposition 8, the California constitutional amendment that disallowed the marriage of same-sex couples in the state.” That prompted this comment by a smart reader (“brdcstr”):

So Mozilla promotes a lifelong employee based upon his skills and leadership qualities, presumably after an exhaustive search, only to fire him a week into his tenure based upon a donation he made to a cause they differed on?

What are they running over there, a business or a social club? Sounds like the type of company that only welcomes monolithic thinking.

I would be willing to bet that the cackling hyena who asked for his resignation voted for Obama in 2008… When he was opposed to gay marriage, before he was for it.

Gotta a love the liberals who falsely pride themselves as being tolerant, as long as you agree with them. If not, they would prefer to silence your voice instead of engage in debate to promote dialogue and better understanding.

Time to go uninstall my Firefox browser. Like the company, it keeps crashing, rendering it useless.

I’m afraid that my friend Matt Barber, founder of Barbwire.com and an AFTAH Board Member, is correct [see his piece below]: the rising tide of ‘homo-fascist’ bigotry–or call it ‘homo-Marxist’ cultural aggression if you choose–threatens to destroy freedom in this great nation. Note that it is no longer just disagreeing publicly with homosexuality that triggers the powerful forces of Homosexual Indignation and Hate, but merely standing up for natural marriage (one man, one woman), as EX-Mozilla CEO Eich did in supporting California’s Prop 8 in 2008.

Eich, who gave $1,000 to help pass Prop 8, was joined by over seven million “homophobic bigots” in 2008–if you believe pro-homosexual fanatics. Prop 8 passed by a margin of 52.24-47.76 percent, with a popular vote of 7,001,084 in favor and 6,401,482 against.

A troubling pattern of homosexual activist intimidation, corporate or individual capitulation, and then self-censorship or mandated ideological compliance seems to be the West’s New Normal–in defense of the abnormal.

Mozilla’s politically correct baloney

Reading Mozilla’s Executive Chairwoman Mitchell Baker’s statement on Eich’s resignation reminds me of the old Soviet propaganda: savvy citizens have to read through the obfuscatory lines (a fancy way of saying B.S.) to decipher the real meaning behind the DiversitySpeak. For example, there’s this:

Mozilla believes both in equality and freedom of speech….

Our organizational culture reflects diversity and inclusiveness. We welcome contributions from everyone regardless of age, culture, ethnicity, gender, gender-identity, language, race, sexual orientation, geographical location and religious views. Mozilla supports equality for all.

We have employees with a wide diversity of views. Our culture of openness extends to encouraging staff and community to share their beliefs and opinions in public.

Apparently Eich’s “equality” and “freedom of speech” did not extend to his freedom as an American to support a popular, pro-natural-marriage amendment, which prevailed in California in 2008 before being negated by left-leaning courts including the Supreme Court. Does Mozilla’s “culture of openness” and “inclusion” extend to Eich’s exercise of his constitutional liberty to support said ballot measure–which merely preserved the age-old understanding of marriage as between man and woman? No, it emphatically does not.

Mozilla's actions will lead to further intimidation and politically correct punishment against people of faith.

Mozilla’s actions will lead to further intimidation and politically correct punishments against people of faith.

So cut the diversity crap, Mozilla: you  pandered and succumbed to homosexual activist power and intimidation–plain and simple. Don’t insult us by pleading that you did so in the name of equality, inclusion and diversity. And do not pretend you respect “religious views” when you just neutralized Eich’s in the service of post-Christian, pro-sexual-perversion ideology.

Mozilla’s actions (not words) have made it clear, to paraphrase the prescient Orwell: “All employees and their beliefs are equal, but some are more equal than others.”

Can Pandora’s Box be shut?

Only in the minds of radical egalitarian ideologues can homosexual behavior, a sin and a destructive behavior, be considered “equal” to wholesome sexual morality as epitomized by God’s design of fidelity in marriage. The latter brings man and woman together in perfect complementary order. These wonderful unions then naturally, yet miraculously, produce children and families, and life goes on. As Chicago’s Catholic Cardinal Frances George has said, regardless of race or ethnicity or religion, marriage uniting the sexes is the same all over the world.

All this was once take for granted in saner times. But the Pandora’s Box of Proud Perversion has been flung wide open, and if may be well-nigh impossible now to preserve respect and liberty for moral and religious advocates of sexual normalcy and the natural (and biblical) marital ethic. Of course, that is precisely the goal of Big Gay Inc. and its media enablers. Who knew that homosexuality in the West would so rapidly morph from “the love that dare not speak its name” into the “love against which practical people dare not speak in public” (without fear of reprisals from Big Gay Inc.)?

They’re Here, They’re Queer, Get Used to … mandatory, enforced pro-homosexual groupthink–to paraphrase the old Queer Nation chant.

Always remember: God is not mocked, and He does not take His cues from the Sin Movement that calls itself “Gay.” Stay strong, keep your head and never stop defending Truth against Big Lies like the folly of what homosexual activists call “marriage equality.” It’s not equal. It’s not marriage. It’s just sin, on steroids. — Peter LaBarbera, AFTAH.org

PS. Speaking of politically correct tyranny, go HERE to read about the escalating homo-fascist campaign to kick me off as a speaker at the upcoming Saskatchewan Pro-Life Association conference in Canada April 11-12.

Why They Are Called ‘Homofascists’ — Here’s Why…

By Matt Barber, reprinted from Barbwire.com

Many Christians have been warning for years that the radical homosexual activist lobby is made up of Christian-hating fascists who are in rebellion against both God and nature, who are hell-bent on criminalizing Christianity and pushing to the fringes anyone who publicly acknowledges natural human sexuality and the age-old, immutable institution of legitimate marriage as created by God.

Sadly, many people, even many Christians, think that I and others are using hyperbole when we refer to this sexual anarchist “LGBT” movement as “homofascist” or the “Gaystapo.” I hope you’ll think again. It’s time to wake up and smell the impending anti-Christian persecution. It’s fully at hand.

BarbWire contributor [and Illinois Family Institute writer] Laurie Higgins, commenting on the Washington Examiner story below, summed it up well in an email tonight:

CEO and co-founder of Mozilla (and inventor of JavaScript) Brendan Eich is forced to resign because of his $1,000 donation to Prop 8 six years ago. So, I guess it’s semi-official: American citizens who believe marriage is inherently sexually complementary cannot work in America–not even in their own companies. First Amendment: R.I.P.

Reports the Washington Examiner:

Mozilla CEO Brendan Eich resigned under pressure after gay rights activists demanded that he step down or recant his support of traditional marriage laws.

Eich donated $1,000 to support Proposition 8, the California ballot initiative that amended the state’s constitution to define marriage as between one man and one woman.

“I don’t want to talk about my personal beliefs because I kept them out of Mozilla all these 15 years we’ve been going,” Eich told The Guardian. “I don’t believe they’re relevant.”

That wasn’t an option. “CEO Brendan Eich should make an unequivocal statement of support for marriage equality,” a Credoaction petition signed by almost 75,000 people said, per The Inquirer. “If he cannot, he should resign. And if he will not, the board should fire him immediately.”

When asked if his beliefs about marriage should constitute a firing offense the way racism or sexism does, Eich argued that these religious beliefs — and beliefs popular as of 2008 — should not be used as a basis for dismissal.

“I don’t believe that’s true, on the basis of what’s permissible to support or vote on in 2008,” he told CNET. “It’s still permissible. Beliefs that are protected, that include political and religious speech, are generally not something that can be held against even a CEO. I understand there are people who disagree with me on this one.”

Oh, oh, Mr. Eich, how wrong you are. That’s the America we used to live in. That’s the America of our founding. Welcome to “Amerika.” Homofascism is the order of the day and Christian “intolerance” simply will not be tolerated. That was before we became the godless, wicked nation we are today. A once-great nation that now takes “pride” in calling “evil good and good evil.”

Continues the Examiner:

On Thursday, Mozilla announced that he had resigned. “Mozilla prides itself on being held to a different standard and, this past week, we didn’t live up to it,” executive chairwoman Mitchell Baker wrote. “We know why people are hurt and angry, and they are right: it’s because we haven’t stayed true to ourselves. We didn’t act like you’d expect Mozilla to act. We didn’t move fast enough to engage with people once the controversy started. We’re sorry. We must do better.”

Do you see what’s happening? Did you read that? That’s fear — deathly fear. Fear of a radical, hateful, intolerant, obnoxious, fascist, evil and power-crazed group of sex-obsessed anarchists who demand that we all affirmatively celebrate their deviant and self-destructive sexual sins and unnatural perversions.

Christians, buckle up. Your whole world is about to change. The Rainbowshirts are emboldened and they’ve broken out the long knives. “Therefore pride is their necklace; they clothe themselves with violence” – Psalm 73:6.

They smell blood in the water. I’ve often said that these folks want those who speak Biblical truth about human sexuality and legitimate marriage either 1) dead, 2) imprisoned or, if they can have neither of these, 3) marginalized to the point where they can’t even support their families.

Check No. 3 off the list. I guess they’re working backwards.

Freedom is hanging on by a thread, America, and it is those who worship the sin of Sodom that are determined to finish it off once and for all.
