LISTEN: AFTAH Interview with Ex-Transsexual Walt Heyer – Part OneJuly 19th, 2011“You can’t change your gender,” says man who triedOver the years I’ve interviewed or met many former homosexual men and ex-lesbians, but never an ex-transgender. Walt Heyer is one such man: with Christ’s help he walked away from the “transgender” lifestyle (gender confusion). Unfortunately, his godly change occurred long after he’d undergone a radical “sex-change” operation that mutilated his genitalia — as part of his quest to become the woman in his head, “Laura” (see photo below). This interview [listen HERE], the first of three parts, was pre-recorded and aired July 16, 2011 on WYLL 1160-AM Chicago. Heyer describes his very troubled childhood — including being beaten by his father and victimized at a young age by his grandmother — who dressed him up as a girl. Walt was also sexually molested over a period of three years by his uncle. Heyer now crusades against “Gender Reassignment Surgery” and counsels others seeking to overcome the pull of gender confusion in their lives. He has also authored three books including his autobiography, “Trading My Sorrows,” and “Paper Genders” — all available on his website, www.tradingmysorrows.com/. Please share this interview with your friends and especially young people, who are barraged with pro-“transgender” and pro-homosexual messages. — Peter LaBarbera, www.aftah.org HOW TO LISTEN: Left click once on the link below to play. LISTEN: AFTAH Interview Stephen Black – Part Two – Criticizes ‘Gutless,’ Pro-‘Gay’ GospelJuly 15th, 2011“Does this mean you’re not going to be gay anymore?”Here is Part Two of our pre-recorded interview with Stephen Black [click HERE to listen] of First Stone Ministries, based in Oklahoma City. This interview with Black (?www.stephenblack.org), who once considered himself “gay,” aired July 9, 2011. Stephen and AFTAH President Peter LaBarbera discuss the ideal of speaking the truth about homosexual sin, in the love of Christ. They criticize the soft, defensive message of “emergent” Christians like Andy Marin (author of “Love Is and Orientation”) — as a false form of love bereft of biblical truth. (Marin is reluctant to call homosexual practice sinful and has launched an “I’m Sorry” campaign whereby evangelicals apologize to homosexuals (and others) for the alleged “homophobic” shortcomings of the Church; see the video of pro-same-sex-“marriage” evangelical Peggy Campolo currently at the top of Marin’s blog HERE [dated July 14th].) Black and LaBarbera agree with ex-“gay” Andy Comiskey that the “emergent”-type approach like Marin’s is a “gutless gospel.” Yet they also agree that harsh or insensitive Christians can preach a lot of truths about homosexuality. but without the love and humility demanded of those advancing the Gospel (Black says some have been “cruel and mean” toward homosexuals). Stephen gives a short version of his personal testimony, but in Part One of this interview he lays out his life story (including being molested as a boy) and exodus from homosexuality; click HERE for Part One. You can visit the archive page containing all the AFTAH Hour interviews HERE. P.S. LaBarbera has extended an open invitation to Andy Marin to appear on the AFTAH radio show, or speak/debate at at a neutral forum on the proper attitude of Bible-believing Christians toward people practicing homosexuality. We hope he accepts; you can contact Marin at info@themarinfoundation.org. HOW TO LISTEN: Left click once on the link below to play. ABC Hit-Piece Targets Michele Bachmann and Ex-Gay ChangeJuly 12th, 2011AFTAH in the News: ABC uses homosexual activist’s mocking slogan, “Pray Away the Gay”Folks, it sure didn’t take long for the liberal media to go into Christian-bashing mode against GOP presidential candidate Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.). Watch this almost comically biased hit-piece by ABC’s Brian Ross — featuring the militantly anti-Christian homosexual organization Truth Wins Out. (TWO denies the reality that people can leave homosexuality behind; I call them “Focus on the Failures” because their nonsensical argument seems to be that since many practicing “gays” fail in their quest to change, transformation away from homosexuality is a myth.) Incredibly, ABC even went so far as to title its piece “Pray Away the Gay at Bachmann Clinic?” — recycling TWO founder Wayne Besen’s mocking and bigoted attack-slogan for the idea that people can overcome homosexual desires through faith in God. Shouldn’t it have occurred to Ross to sit down with and interview a SUCCESSFUL former homosexual like Janet Boynes, who:

Cisco Fires Marriage Defender Frank Turek – Latest Victim of Homosexual IntoleranceJuly 8th, 2011No “diversity” for stellar Christian vendor who opposes homosexual “marriage”Editor’s Note/Correction: our original story labeled Frank Turek as an “employee” of Cisco Systems. Turek was in fact a vendor with Cisco (with high marks for his performance). Thus he lacked the protections of an actual employee. This does not detract from the main story of Cisco’s hypocrisy and anti-Christian bigotry (we call it homo-fascism), which led Turek to be fired abruptly for his private, pro-traditional-marriage advocacy — by a company that champions “diversity.” — Peter LaBarbera _________________________________ Below is a reprint of a Townhall.com column by Christian apologist Frank Turek, an eloquent defender of natural (i.e., real) marriage – who was recently fired as a vendor by Cisco Systems (408-526-4000) due to his off-the-job, pro-family advocacy. Turek’s sudden firing was instigated by a homosexual fellow-employee at Cisco who — acting like a homo-fascist — turned in Turek to the Cisco authorities (actually an HR exec), despite the latter’s stellar and completely professional work record. Conservative columnist Mike Adams has written three terrific pieces about “diversity”-touting Cisco’s outrageous action. (Read them in order HERE, HERE and HERE.) Needless to say, if Turek were a practicing homosexual who had been canned, this would be a huge media story and Cisco would be contracting with the services of GLAAD (Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation). I have never met Mr. Turek – I’ve only read some of his excellent columns – but I gather that he is a compassionate man who models the Christian ideal of speaking the Truth boldly, in love. One reason I deduce this is that while attending (undercover) the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force “Creating Change” meeting earlier this year, I listened as a homosexual activist described (to a room full of fellow “gay” activists) a church talk given by Turek that he had attended as a critic. The homosexual advocate described Turek’s presentation and demeanor as kind and bereft of malice. This particular LGBT activist works diligently to convert Christians to a pro-“gay rights” mindset, and yet – even as he opposed Turek’s ideas – he found no hatred for homosexuals in the man. (You can buy Turek’s book, “Correct, Not Politically Correct: How Same-Sex ‘Marriage’ Hurts Everyone” HERE; and watch him debate atheist Christopher Hitchens HERE; also see Turek’s outstanding Christian youth site here: http://crossexamined.org/.) The bottom line for Christians and opponents of homosexuality who are not silent about their moral beliefs? If it’s OK to fire Frank Turek merely because he disagrees with homosexuality and “same-sex marriage,” then you, too, are vulnerable. Christians and all defenders of sexual normalcy: we have no other choice but to fight back against the emerging liberal homo-fascism — unless you are content to live as a muted serf in the land of the “free.” – Peter LaBarbera, www.aftah.org Write Cisco here: Mr. John Chambers Phone: 408-526-4000; hit “0” for operator ________________________________________ Read the rest of this article » AFTAH Dinner-Lecture: Former Lesbian Linda Jernigan Discusses Reality of HomosexualityJuly 5th, 2011Rather than the usual interview, we offer portions of ex-lesbian Linda Jernigan’s dinner-lecture presentation at Americans For Truth headquarters in Carol Stream, Illinois, June 17th [click HERE to listen]. Linda, who left the lesbian lifestyle, is founder of the Chicago-based Rescuing Ministries (www.RescuingHomosexuals.net; e-mail her at: RescueMeNowLord@aol.com). AFTAH Interview with Dr. Judith Reisman – Part ThreeJune 30th, 2011Here is Part Three of our interview [click HERE to listen] with Dr. Judith Reisman, now a Visiting Professor of Law at Liberty University’s School of Law. This interview, which delves deeper into the twisted “research” of perverted pioneering sexologist Alfred Kinsey, aired June 18, 2011. Reisman’s website is www.DrJudithReisman.com; her most recent book, Sexual Sabotage, is available through WorldNetDaily (for which Judith has written extensively). Reisman’s book Kinsey: Crimes & Consequences — discussed at length in this interview — is available through Amazon.com. AFTAH President Peter LaBarbera and Reisman discuss how Indiana University’s “Kinsey Institute” should be investigated by lawmakers and government officials due to Kinsey’s now-exposed and shockingly fraudulent “science” — including his working partnership with child molesters to gather “orgasm” “data.” HOW TO LISTEN: This is an mp3 file, supported in most operating systems by Windows Media Player, Quick Time and/or I-Tunes. Wrong Diagnosis, Wrong Cure: Harvey Assails CDC’s Pro-‘Gay Youth’ SpinJune 24th, 2011This essay by my friend Linda Harvey of Mission America was published by WorldNetDaily.com on June 21, 2011.
By Linda Harvey What’s worse than asking ninth-graders intrusive and sexually explicit questions on a school survey, even if they do live in a liberal district? It’s discovering misbehavior, coming to exactly the wrong conclusion about the causes and recommending more harm be done. A new report published by the Centers for Disease Control shows that teenagers in public schools who believe themselves to be homosexual or bisexual are taking more risks all across the board. While this should not come as a big surprise to the average American with common sense, it is a stunning revelation to our psychobabbly federal public health professionals. After all, they can’t even bring themselves to say “Stop it!” to men who have anal sex with other men. The National Youth Risk Behavior Surveys are given to high schoolers, and the Centers for Disease Control looked at the data from 2001 to 2009 in the states of Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Vermont, Wisconsin and the cities of Boston, Chicago, Milwaukee, New York City, San Francisco and San Diego, locales where the schools permitted questions about homosexual identity/behavior, which isn’t always the case in less “progressive” areas. Teens who called themselves “gay, lesbian or bisexual,” or who were unsure, as well as those who didn’t use those labels but had sexual contact only with same-sex people or with both sexes, were found to be more likely than heterosexually identified students to engage in seven out of the 10 risk behavior categories. These were: 1) behaviors that contribute to violence; 2) behaviors related to attempted suicide; 3) tobacco use; 4) alcohol use; 5) other drug use; 6) sexual behaviors; and 7) weight management.
