The ‘Transgender’ Lobby’s Civil Rights Con – Common Sense Bathroom Laws Are Nothing Like Racist Jim Crow Laws

“Race and Transgenderism are utterly incomparable, and so are common sense bathroom laws and racist segregation. Yet this hasn’t stopped immoralists and pro-LGBT advocates from drawing a false equivalence between the two.”–Bruce Smith Jr.

Folks, we welcome Bruce Smith Jr., founder of Purity Quest Ministries, as a contributor to Americans For Truth. Smith analyzes the LGBT analogy between “transgender women” (men in dresses) being denied entry into female restrooms and racist Jim Crow laws of the past. Former GOP presidential candidate Dr. Ben Carson has called such analogies “a bunch of crap,” and we agree. Smith is also the author of the book, The Truth About Homosexuality, which I encourage you to purchase.–Peter LaBarbera, AFTAH; @PeterLaBarbera

We’re being lied to and the liars at the fore of the “transgender” movement hope we don’t notice. The problem is their falsehoods are so obvious that it is impossible to overlook them– except for those who just aren’t paying attention and the liberals who actually believe the lies are true.

In any case, it is time to set the record straight on the “transgender” activist movement, the lies on which it is based, and the liars that are perpetuating this insanity.

Let’s begin with the term itself. The common liberal definition of “transgender” is a person trapped inside the body of the opposite sex. This is telling because it assumes that it is possible for someone to be trapped in the wrong body, which is a false assumption. Moreover, it establishes that “transgenderism” is based entirely on feelings and opinions; it is a concept that only exists in the mind of the subject.

Race_Is_Not_A_Feeling_Graphic_Bruce_Smith_QuoteThus, “transgenderism” is subjective not objective. In other words, it does not correspond to reality. This is why “transgenderism” has been diagnosed as a “gender identity disorder.”

Race, on the other hand, is objective. I am a multiracial man—some would say person of color; that is a fact. Race is not limited to the mind of the subject. It is actual, it corresponds with reality and is verifiable.

Barack Obama’s Radical LGBT Legacy – An Immoral ‘Transformation’ of America

Wednesday, January 13th, 2016

Anti-Christian lobby group HRC tallies Obama’s long list of pro-homosexual and pro-transgender “accomplishments”

Another Dubious Obama LGBT "First": Barack Obama is obviously the first U.S. President to turn the White House--the people's house--into a symbol of homosexual-bisexual-transgender activism. The rainbow has been appropriated by the LGBTQ movement as the symbol of their sin movement.

Two More Dubious Obama LGBT “Firsts”: Obviously, Barack Obama is the first U.S. President to turn the White House–the American people’s house–into a symbol of homosexual-bisexual-transgender activism. (The rainbow has been appropriated by LGBTQ activists as the symbol of their de facto sin movement.) Obama is also the first president to sit for a photo-shoot for a homosexualist magazine, OUT Magazine, in its December 2015 issue.

Summary of President Obama’s Commitment to LGBT Equality [the homosexual-bisexual-transgender agenda]

Note to AFTAH readers: the following is a list of President Barack Obama’s homosexual-bisexual-transgender agenda “achievements,” produced by Human Rights Campaign, the world’s most powerful and well-funded LGBT lobby organization. [See the original HRC report on PDF HERE.] Even close followers of Obama’s socially left agenda will be surprised by the magnitude of his LGBT record. We have bolded some of the more important Obama actions–note especially #28 and #33 in which Obama undermined the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), thus accelerating the legal momentum for legalized same-sex “marriage.”

VIDEO: Transgender Insanity – Steven Crowder on 52-Year-Old Man – Paul ‘Stefonknee’ Wolscht – Who Leaves Family to Become ‘6-Year-Old Girl’

Wednesday, December 16th, 2015

Paul_aka_Stefonknee_Wolscht_Little_Girl_Pinterest

“I’m allowed to be exactly who I am, and I don’t have to apologize or make excuses why I’m different. I can’t deny I was married. I can’t deny I have children. But I’ve moved forward now and I’ve gone back to being a child. I don’t want to be an adult now, and I live my life like I couldn’t when I was in school.”–Paul Wolscht, 52-year-old man with seven children who believes he’s a 6-year-old girl, “Stefonknee”

Folks, my son introduced me to Steven Crowder YouTube videos, and Crowder is spot on with this video response to a 52-year-old Canadian man, Paul (“Stefonknee”) Wolscht, who abandoned his wife and seven children a few years ago to embrace a “transgender” identity as a six-year-old “girl.” This pathetic story is astonishingly creepy and wicked at the same time. Crowder is right: this guy is mentally disturbed–but I do believe that he’d still be with his family if he did not have his “transgender” activist enablers egging on his delusion.

To say that Wolscht is self-absorbed might be the understatement of all time. As a Transgender Project website video on Wolscht’s story shows, several years ago his own children expressed their anger and embarrassment in letters to him about his wanting to be a “girl” (see photo below). No matter–he continued to pursue his twisted alter ego–and was encouraged in his “gender identity” by his new “progressive” friends including an LGBTQ “church.” Then he wonders why his desperate wife Maria fears that their kids would be “corrupted” by him living with them?! … [More comments and photos after the video and the jump:]

Much evil has come out of the LGBTQueer revolution, and many victims have been left in its wake–like Maria and her seven children. Does your heart not ache like mine in thinking about the suffering of Mrs. Wolscht and what these poor children have gone through after their dad embraced this sick, freakish “identity”? This is a form of child abuse–and everyone who supports Wolscht in his delusion is complicit.

In a forthcoming article I will discuss the parallels of me-centered transgenderism and me-centered homosexuality. One thing they share is the idea that creating one’s own fictional reality–a distorted “identity” or “orientation” at odds with reason, God’s creation and objectively observed Nature–somehow justifies one’s actions. Since LGBTQ activists and their “progressive” allies demand that we “respect” the ever-expanding array of “gender identities,” are we obligated to respect Wolscht’s little-girl identity–his own specialized, subjective “truth”? The thing about godless moral relativism is that there is no bottom to its depravity because–to paraphrase the “progressive” pope–who are we to judge?  — Peter LaBarbera, AFTAH; @PeterLaBarbera

Fox News’ Shepard Smith on Kim Davis Supporters – ‘Haters Are Gonna Hate’ – Compares Christians to Racists and Shariah Advocates

Shep draws false analogy between Christian supporters of Davis and segregationists opposed to interracial marriage

See larger graphic below.

See larger OUT magazine graphic below (after the jump).

TAKE ACTION: Watch the astonishingly Unfair & Unbalanced Fox “News” video clip below in which allegedly homosexual daytime anchor Shepard Smith (see Blade graphic below) snidely claims that pro-Kim-Davis Christians–and those opposed to the Supreme Court’s Obergefell ruling that imposed homosexual “marriage” on the nation–are akin to “haters,” racial segregation. Smith says on air: “Haters are gonna hate.” Contact Fox News using their online e-mail list for shows HERE or at their main number 888-369-4762 [hit #3] or 212-301-3000.

Fox News’ Shep Smith Attends Homosexual Journalists Fundraiser – The homosexual newspaper Washington Blade covers Fox News daytime anchor Shepard Smith’s participation in a 2014 fundraiser for the National Lesbian and Gay Journalists Association (photo: the Blade’s Michael Lavers). Note the Blade headline: “Closeted  Fox News Anchor Attends Gay Fundraiser.” It is a widely reported story in the homosexual media that Smith is living a homosexual lifestyle. OUT magazine lists Smith as a powerful homosexual every year. Fox News gives a major grant to the homosexual journalists organization, which engages in pro-“gay” advocacy. See Peter LaBarbera’s 2013 in-depth report on Fox News’ pro-homosexual bias for America’s Survival.

Dear AFTAH Readers,

On Tuesday I watched the Fox News coverage of the pro-Kim-Davis rally outside the Kentucky jail where she was held for six days. Let me say that anchor Shep Smith’s snide “reporting” was reprehensible and deeply disturbing–especially for a network created to give conservatives a fair shake.

You had to see it to believe it: “Shep” started out using words like “divisive,” “obscene,” and “grandstanding” to discuss the pro-Davis rally. But it only got worse. After repeatedly drawing a ridiculous and malicious connection between current opponents of homosexual “marriage” and racist foes of interracial marriage, Smith uttered the ultimate left-wing attack-line equating biblical beliefs with malice: “Haters are gonna hate”! Was I watching Fox News or MSNBC?

But the Fox News star–who infamous recast Mike Huckabee’s 2013 “Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day” in as the “National Day of Intolerance”–wasn’t finished: he drew another comparison, this time between Christians opposed to the Supreme Court’s national imposition of homosexual “marriage” to Islamists trying to impose Shariah Law. Subtlety is apparently not Smith’s forte.

As I told Cliff Kincaid in an interview recently, if Jorge Ramos is truly an immigration activist masquerading as a journalist, then Shep Smith is a homosexual activist

And let me tell you: the rest of Fox News’ daytime coverage of Davis wasn’t much better. The media’s sneering condescension on the issue of sodomy-based “marriage” is palpable.

Fox News is undermining its brand: the pro-“gay” bias at the supposed “Fair and Balanced” network has only gotten worse since I wrote my in-depth report on the subject for America’s Survival two years ago. TAKE ACTION: contact Fox News through their online form here. And keep fighting for Truth!— Peter LaBarbera, AFTAH; @Peter LaBarberaamericansfortruth@gmail.com.

Cliff Kincaid of America’s Survival writes:

Shepard Smith Calls Christians “Haters”

By Cliff Kincaid  — September 9, 2015

“Haters are going to hate” is how Shepard Smith of Fox News referred to supporters of Christian clerk Kim Davis on his Tuesday afternoon show. It was another example of the anti-Christian bias that has been rearing its ugly head on a channel that many conservatives had looked to for “fair and balanced” coverage of the issues they care about.

But calls to several Fox News officials, asking for reaction to Smith’s anti-Christian comments, were not returned.

In other controversial comments about a pro-Davis rally being broadcast during his show, Smith ripped conservative Christians for “a religious play again,” saying, “This is the same crowd that says, ‘We don’t want Sharia law, don’t let them tell us what to do, keep their religion out of our lives and out of our government.’ Well, here we go again.”

Smith seems not to understand the difference between Christianity, a foundation of the American system that protects religious rights and liberty, and Islam, an authoritarian religion which wants to impose its values on others.

It was expected that the liberals in the media complaining about “mass incarceration” would make an exception for Davis to go to jail. That’s just the way the liberals are. But it was somewhat unexpected that Fox News would break its promise to air “fair and balanced” coverage of the issue by permitting Smith to take such a crude stand against Davis on the “Shepard Smith Reporting” 3:00 p.m. ET show.

Michael Brown Responds to ‘Gay Christian’ Activist Matthew Vines’ 40 Questions on Homosexuality and Christianity

Thursday, August 6th, 2015
The Answer Is No: Michael Brown ably answers the lie of "gay Christianity" in his book, "Can You Be Gay and Christian?"

The Answer Is No: …if “gay” means positively and proudly homosexual. Dr. Michael Brown ably answers the lies of “gay Christianity” in his book, “Can You Be Gay and Christian? Responding with Love & Truth to Questions About Homosexuality.” He similarly responds with “love & truth” to homosexual activist Matthew Vines’ self-serving “40 Questions” below. “I cannot see our [Heavenly] Father responding positively to the threat of, ‘Unless you let me have a relationship that satisfies me, I will kill myself.’ [Answer # 9]

“What is explicitly affirmed over and again in the Bible is that God requires holiness of all His people and that the only outlet for sexual intimacy is in the confines of marriage, which…can only be the union of a man and woman. This is as explicit as anything in the Word. [#25]

“…the Word never says that an inherently sinful act somehow becomes sanctified by repeating it with the same person. [#27)]

“…your [Matthew Vines’] emphasis is all wrong. In fact, it’s the common theme through your questions, namely, ‘Surely God wouldn’t want me to live without sex and intimacy, therefore I must reinterpret the Bible in that light.'” [#39] — Dr. Michael Brown, author of Can You Be Gay and Christian?

This essay first appeared July 10, 2015, on the Charisma magazine website:

________________________________

Dear Readers,

My prolific author friend Dr. Michael Brown–whose book, “Can You Be Gay and Christian?” is available for purchase from AFTAH at right–does a terrific job below answering homosexual “Christian” activist Matthew Vines’ 40 tendentious questions. As Brown notes, Vines’ line of questioning is built on false premises and spurious analogies. For example, Vines repeats the tired homosexual talking point comparing infertile straight couples to same-sex partners (see Brown’s response to Questions 30 and 31).

I would like Michael to try a “do-over” on #12: it is bizarre and, indeed, blasphemous for young Vines (misapplying Galatians 5–which mentions “sexual immorality”) to associate unnatural, sexual-sin-based “relationships” with Holy Spirit-led “goodness” and “self-control,” etc. I understand what Michael is saying, but I would not compare these disordered relationships with normal unions between husband and wife–including marriages that are not Christian.

Vines’ questions themselves are a study in the error of homosexuality-positive “Christianity”: can you see the intense self-focus in them, as Vines does his biblical “exegesis” backwards:–starting with his politically correct premise (committed homosexual relationship are fine) and trying to rationalize it as somehow being compatible with Scripture? He utterly fails. It is no wonder that Vines will not publicly appear in the same debate forum with Dr. Brown or Prof. Rob Gagnon. By the way, Dr. Brown received AFTAH’s “American Truth-Teller Award” in 2014; we commend him for his diligence and faithfulness in defending Truth. — Peter LaBarbera, AFTAH; Twitter: @PeterLaBarbera; Like the AFTAH Facebook Page

Dr. Michael Brown Has 40 Answers and 2 Questions for ‘Gay’ Christian Matthew Vines

By Michael Brown; Twitter: @DrMichaelLBrown

I am answering the 40 questions put forward by “gay Christian” advocate Matthew Vines, after which I will put two simple questions to Matthew (and his allies). What is absolutely stunning, though, is that in these 40 questions, he failed to ask the only one that really matters, namely, “What does the Bible say about homosexual practice?” The reason for that is self-evident, namely, it is impossible to make a case for homosexual relationships using the Word of God alone.

That’s why, for the last decade (and until this moment), I have offered to debate the issue of the Bible and homosexual practice with any qualified representative of the “gay Christian” position, yet I have had no takers. (Matthew and I did engage in a brief debate hosted by Moody radio, but as is well known, Matthew agreed to do the broadcast before realizing he would be debating me, after which he felt it would be worse publicity to drop out rather than do the show. Those interested can watch the debate here. (For a relevant follow-up article, go here.) I also address many of the questions Matthew raises in my book Can You Be Gay and Christian?, but for the benefit of those who don’t have the book, and so as to answer all the questions conveniently in one place, I’ve responded to each of them here.

Before addressing the questions, it’s important to address Matthew’s premise, namely, those of us who uphold Scripture “oppose marriage equality.” Actually, we oppose redefining marriage; as for so-called “marriage equality,” as I have pointed out, advocates of “same-sex marriage” represent just one group clamoring for changes in marriage laws, including polygamists, polyamorists, and adult incestuous couples. That’s why the Marriage Equality Blogspot calls for “Full Marriage Equality,” specifically, “for the right of consenting adults to share and enjoy love, sex, residence and marriage without limits on the gender, number or relation of participants.” So, from that point of view, Matthew also opposes “marriage equality.”

To answer the 40 questions:

1. Do you accept that sexual orientation is not a choice? Sexual orientation is a relatively modern construct, but if you mean is it true that, generally speaking, homosexual men and women did not choose to be attracted to the same sex, the answer would be yes, it is not a conscious choice they made, any more than someone who struggles with angry desires, violent desires, or adulterous desires consciously chose to have those desires.

2. Do you accept that sexual orientation is highly resistant to attempts to change it? Again, using your definition, in the majority of cases, certainly. However, we must not downplay the many successful stories of change through counseling and, more importantly, the possibility of change through the gospel. Cannot Almighty God change a homosexual into a heterosexual if it so pleases Him? Has the church really devoted itself to seeking God to help men and women who struggle with same-sex attractions?

3. How many meaningful relationships with lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender (LGBT) people do you have? My first organ teacher, when I was barely 7-years old, was openly gay, and he and his partner would come to our home and have dinner with our family. Over the years, I’ve had good friends who came out of homosexuality (including someone very close to my family), and I interact as often I can in as much depth as I can with those who identify as LGBT.

4. How many openly LGBT people would say you are one of their closest friends? None that I know of, but that is not because of my rejection of them. I have never turned away from a person because of their sexual brokenness or sexual desires. If, however, they openly scorned God’s Word and God’s ways, I’m afraid it would be hard for us to be close friends. That being said, I have close friends who are very religious Jews, yet they still believe my faith in Jesus is wrong and I still believe they are lost without Him. In other words, friendship with people (or lack thereof) has absolutely nothing to do with determining the truth of God’s Word.

Self-described "gay Christian" Matthew Vines refuses to debate Bible scholars and apologists with expert knowledge on Scripture and homosexuality, like Dr. Michael Brown and Prof. Robert Gagnon.

Dodging Debates: Self-described “gay Christian” Matthew Vines refuses to debate Bible scholars and apologists with expert knowledge on Scripture and homosexuality, like Dr. Michael Brown and Prof. Robert Gagnon.

5. How much time have you spent in one-on-one conversation with LGBT Christians about their faith and sexuality? Many hours, and many more hours reading their stories prayerfully, sometimes having to put down the book I’m reading and get on my knees in prayer, even with tears and a heavy burden. I hurt deeply over the pain they have experienced and I long to see them find wholeness in the Lord.

6. Do you accept that heterosexual marriage is not a realistic option for most gay people? Probably so—again, with God, all things are possible—but this too has nothing to do with what God has to say about homosexual practice. It calls for great compassion from the church, but not for rewriting the Bible. Also, unless we get caught up with the spirit of the age, it’s important to realize that “heterosexual marriage” is the only marriage God acknowledges.

7. Do you accept that lifelong celibacy is the only valid option for most gay people if all same-sex relationships are sinful? I accept that our Father knows best, that His ways are ways of life, and that if He does not enable someone to enter into a heterosexual relationship then He will give grace to that person to be celibate, just as He gives grace to a believer suffering decades of imprisonment and torture, just as He gives grace to a drug addict to get free from addictions, and just as He gives grace to many heterosexuals to live in lifelong, non-chosen celibacy.

8. How many gay brothers and sisters in Christ have you walked with on the path of mandatory celibacy, and for how long? Less than 10, and not more than 10 years so far, but the term “mandatory celibacy” is misleading, since I’ve walked with heterosexual believers for decades who did not choose celibacy but never met their mate, and they found Jesus to be more than enough to carry them through. Plus, Jesus requires all of us to deny ourselves and take up the cross and follow Him, and He does not promise any of us a spouse. I also have close friends whose spouses divorced them and who believe they cannot remarry as long as their spouse is alive, and they too have survived and even thrived by God’s grace despite years of singleness imposed on them by their convictions.

9. What is your answer for gay Christians who struggled for years to live out a celibacy mandate but were driven to suicidal despair in the process? This is a heartrending issue that I do not take lightly, but my answer is that anyone who says, “I will kill myself unless I can have sex and be intimate with another human being” is not taking hold of what God has for them. Generally speaking, it’s also true that people who commit suicide are struggling with other emotional issues; otherwise, no matter how acute their problems, they would not take their own lives. Ultimately, though, I cannot see our Father responding positively to the threat of, “Unless you let me have a relationship that satisfies me, I will kill myself.”

10. Has mandatory celibacy produced good fruit in the lives of most gay Christians you know? Again, I object to the term “mandatory celibacy,” and I believe the term “gay Christian” is misleading and unhelpful, but yes, the single Christians I know who are still same-sex attracted are enjoying the Lord, enjoying healthy friendships, and are really quite vibrant. Others have seen a shift (or complete change) in their attractions, and they are happily married to their heterosexual partner. I’ve been quite close with some of them over the years.

VIDEO: Bruce (‘Caitlyn’) Jenner Sounds Like a Man Because He IS a Man – ESPY Awards Speech

Thursday, July 16th, 2015
The Bruce Jenner of old, when America--despite all her problems--was a much saner nation than today.

Saner Days: The Bruce Jenner of old, when America–despite all of her problems–was a much saner nation than today.

In a way, Bruce (“Caitlyn”)* Jenner’s pitiable attempt to become a “woman” is symbolic of the precipitous moral and spiritual decline of our nation. The America of just a few decades past–when Jenner won the Olympic Decathlon (1976)–did not honor gender confusion and sexual deviance. But the new America, Obama’s and the Democrats’ America, not only celebrates both perversions here in the U.S. but uses American foreign aid dollars to push them on unwilling nations abroad. (Kenya’s political leaders are warning President Obama not to lecture them on homosexual “rights” and “gay marriage” in his upcoming visit to their country.)

Below, Jenner accepts ESPN’s “Arthur Ashe Courage Award”–not for any athletic achievement but because he fits the media’s and the Left’s upside-down redefinition of “courage.” Defying God and Nature in the most radical way imaginable–attempting to change your own God-given sex–is a lot of things–tragic, impossible, rebellious, confused, irrational, self-deceived–but it is not ‘courageous.’ And yet powerful opinion-makers guide us in a daily exercise of mass-lying as they push this and other politically correct myths on an increasingly dumbed-down culture.

AFTAH has urged Americans and people worldwide to pray for Bruce Jenner, but keep in mind that in his now-public role as a “transgender” change agent, he goes from being one who struggles with gender confusion to an ACTIVIST who promotes the extreme transgender agenda, even to young people and children. As such, like the entire LGBTQueer movement that seeks to impose its warped “morality” on the country, Jenner must be fought at every turn. Americans possessing common sense, morals and biblical faith lack the media’s power–notice ABC’s shameless championing of Jenner as a hero–but we possess the Truth. And Bruce’s distinctly male voice, the hardest thing for male-to-female transsexuals to change, stubbornly reveals that Truth, too. Close your eyes and listen; as my daughter said, “That’s a guy.”

Watch this ABC broadcast and weep–for Jenner, for the death of journalism and for our nation–which is undergoing a “transition” as godless, as destructive and as revolutionary as this poor man in a dress. –Peter LaBarbera, AFTAH; Twitter: @PeterLaBarbera

*As a matter of policy and principle, Americans For Truth will not refer to Bruce Jenner by his chosen female name, “Caitlyn”–especially considering his assumed role as transgender change agent, using his influence to confirm other men and women–even boys and girls–in similar gender confusion.
