Kirk honored by radical homosexual group that smear C-f-A’s “hate-filled homophobic ‘Chiken'” and tried to deny Christian-owned chain’s ‘freedom’ to do business in Illinois

Republican U.S. Sen. Mark KIrk of Illinois accepts “Freedom” award from the state’s leading homosexual lobby group, Equality Illinois. The group ran a nasty albeit unsuccessful “Flick the Hate” pressure campaign to run Chick-fil-A restaurants out of the state–by petitioning their stakeholders to deny the popular fast-food chain’s leases. Chick-fil-A is expanding in Illinois, and now has 32 restaurants in the state.

1. Call or write Sen. Mark Kirk (R-IL) [202-224-2854; Chicago 312-886-3506; online Comment Form HERE] and urge him to stop rewarding anti-Christian bigotry. Ask him to return this “Freedom Award” from the hateful anti-Christian homosexual group, Equality Illinois–which in 2012 launched a failed pressure campaign to kick Chick-fil-A restaurants out of Illinois.
2. Call or write the Republican National Committee [Contact Form HERE] and its Chairman, Reince Priebus [202-863-8500; choose ext. “1”], and urge them to stand firm against the aggressive Homosexual Lobby, which is targeting Christian leaders and businesses like Chick-fil-A for demonization. Tell Priebus that when Republicans like Sen. Mark Kirk embrace Democratic-type social liberalism, it only deflates the pro-family GOP grassroots. Lastly, urge Priebus to PUBLICLY oppose ENDA, the radical Employment Non-Discrimination Act. On Saturday evening (Feb. 8, 2014), U.S. Senator Mark Kirk (R-Illinois) was presented with the “Freedom” award by Equality Illinois, the state’s leading homosexual pressure group, at a swank fundraising banquet in Chicago. Kirk has become one of the most liberal Republicans on Capitol Hill on homosexual-related issues–with ever greater acts of pandering to the LGBT Lobby. (He came out for homosexual “marriage” and is pushing for passage of ENDA, the Employment Non-Discrimination Act [see homosexual activists release on Kirk and ENDA HERE], or–as we at AFTAH call it, alternatively the “Big Gay Government Act,”  “Gay Lawyers’ Dream Act,” or “ENDA Our Freedom Act”) [See an excellent Heritage Foundation report on the ENDA bill HERE.]

You might recall how Kirk–in a capitulation whose cowardice was eclipsed only by its pettiness–recently blocked the respected pro-family organization  World Congress of Families from securing a meeting room on Capitol Hill. This towering act in defense of “freedom” (sarcasm) came after the Senator heard complaints against WCF from some homosexual activists. World Congress, affiliated with The Howard Center, is based in Rockford, Illinois.

Thus it appears that Sen. Kirk’s conception of “freedom” matches that of his intolerant homosexual activist allies. In 2012, Equality Illinois launched a vicious and slanderous campaign to deny Chick-fil-A restaurants the “freedom” to operate in Illinois. As you can see below, EQ falsely accused C-f-A of “discriminatory policies” because the latter’s Chief Operating Officer, Dan Cathy, had spoken out publicly against homosexual “marriage” as tempting the judgment of God. The Chicago “gay” group launched this “Flick the Hate” petition campaign designed to boot the Christian-owned chicken fast food franchise out of several college towns:

Many observers were shocked that any group would try to run a successful business OUT of Illinois, whose economy is suffering under long-running Democratic political dominance.

As you can see, Equality Illinois’ malicious campaign smeared Chick-fil-A and its COO, Dan Cathy, as representing “hate”–merely because Cathy disagreed publicly with “gay marriage.” EQ sought to petition stakeholders into cancelling their rental leases to the 19 Chick-fil-A restaurants then operating in Illinois. (Thankfully, they failed; there are now 32 C-f-A franchises in Illinois, according to the company’s website.) The EQ page reads, in part (emphasis theirs):

Chick-fil-A has 19 restaurants across Illinois, mostly on university campuses and in shopping malls. This petition will be give to key stakeholders in Illinois who lease, rent or allow Chick-fil-A to continue to sell their hate-filled homophobic “Chiken,” asking them to cut ties….

That kind of hate has no place in a business, especially in Illinois. It is a shame to be associated with such extreme intolerance and hate.

NOT HIRED. TOO CHRISTIAN: Coach Dave Daubenmire with his trademark Christian cap that he wears as a no-nonsense, politically incorrect, Christian pro-family advocate. Despite his stellar coaching record of turning around failing high school football programs, Coach Dave was voted down 3-2 for head football coach at Lakewood [Ohio] High School–after pro-LGBT activists (e.g., “Change.org” and People for the American Way’s “Right-Wing Watch”) targeted the Lakewood, Ohio School Board with a pressure campaign.

Folks, the bad guys in the Culture War just won another one yesterday, and a very good guy, Coach Dave Daubenmire, lost–after getting cyber-smeared by a hateful social media campaign by the “Gay-KK” (or “Gay-stapo,” or “Gay Thought Police,” or “Homo-fascists,” or whatever you call today’s uber-intolerant, anti-Christian homosexual militants who target dissenters for retribution and recognize NO legitimate opposition to homosexualism).

Last night, the Lakewood, Ohio School Board voted 3-2 against hiring Coach Dave–despite the recommendation of Daubenmire by Lakewood Superintendent Jay Gault [mailto:jgault@laca.org; 740-928-4552; ext. 2]. Coach Dave is a bold, outspoken, politically incorrect Christian–pro-life, pro-real-marriage, anti-pornography. But he is also an accomplished coach with a an outstanding record for turning around failing high school football programs:

He coached at Heath High from 1982 to 1988 before taking over at London [(Ohio) High School], where he coached for the next 11 seasons, guiding that team to the playoffs five times between 1992 and 1999. Most recently, he started the football program at Fairfield Christian Academy in Lancaster in 2008, going 23-8 with two playoff appearances in his final three seasons.

Daubenmire also was recommended for hire by the Lakewood superintendent, but no matter, because he was branded “anti-gay,” “hateful” and “homophobic” by LGBT militants who spread lies and half-truths about him using a high-tech online lobbying website (Change.org) that targeted the School Board.

Of course, guess who will suffer most from this Politically Correct vote:  a bunch of teenage boys who now have been denied an outstanding Coach and motivator–but more importantly, a great Christian role model.

We will have much more on this story, but the bottom line is that the pro-homosexual Left–which has gotten very good at getting Bible-believing Christians fired or punished [see my WND Whistleblower piece]–is saying that you cannot be a role model for youth if you are publicly “anti-gay.” Our society is now completely upside-down: a college football star (Michael Sam) is treated like a hero for going public with his homosexuality (i.e., his besetting sin)–while a God-fearing, Christian family man (Dave Daubenmire) is denied a coaching job at his alma mater–a job  for which he is superbly qualified–merely because he holds views on sexual morality that are despised by the LGBT Lobby. When it started, who could possibly have known it would turn out like this?

After all, it emerged right after the historic ’60s Civil Rights movement, which nobly outlawed racial segregation in America. And in the warm glow of the Martin Luther King era, many people came to believe “gays” were simply the next group needing protection from discrimination.

Of course, being an overwhelmingly Christian nation meant millions of Americans strongly objected to homosexuality on moral and religious grounds. But Americans are also the most pluralistic, tolerant and open-minded people on earth, and were increasingly inclined to give “gay rights” activists the benefit of the doubt.

Eventually warming up to a growing “gay-friendly” culture (promoted at every turn by the news and entertainment media), Americans abandoned their previous caution, flung their doors wide open and heartily welcomed the “gay rights” agenda with open arms.

However, it was a Trojan Horse. And most people had no idea what lay in waiting.

Today – as documented in October’s groundbreaking Whistleblower issue, titled “THE NEW SEXUAL REVOLUTION” – a new totalitarian order is sweeping the land.

Parts of this burgeoning totalitarianism are already evident – like legislation that flat-out prohibits counseling help for minors who want to overcome unwanted same-sex attractions; the prosecution and criminalization of ever-larger numbers of Christian businesspeople for simply declining to promote homosexuality on moral and religious grounds; the new California law decreeing that boys must be allowed to use girls’ restrooms and locker rooms if they identify with the opposite sex, and vice versa; forced integration of open homosexuals into the military; and the imposition on the nation of homosexual marriage.

The following video was published by the Family Research Council  (FRC) on September 20, 2013. I agree with Leo Johnson [at 6:40 on the vide0] that “gay” activist Floyd Corkins deserved a tougher sentence than 25 years (especially considering that only Johnson’s heroics likely kept Corkins from committing mass murder). Newsbusters documents HERE how the major networks ABC, NBC and CBS ignored the sentencing of Corkins, who targeted FRC based on a spurious “hate map” put out by the far-left Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC).

Friends,Today Federal Judge Michael Ponsor denied my motion to allow me to appeal his denial of my Motion to Dismiss the outrageous SMUG lawsuit. Sexual Minorities Uganda (SMUG) has sued me for “Crimes Against Humanity” for preaching against homosexuality in Uganda. (But it is not the Africans that are at fault in this travesty, the real scoundrels are a coalition of Cultural Marxists led by the Center for Constitutional Rights.)

I am being judged according to a European legal standard in my own federal court system for speech that is 100% protected in both America and Uganda. The Alien Tort Statute (ATS) which allowed this abomination into our U.S. court system was recently stripped of its power to hold Americans accountable for their conduct in foreign countries by the United States Supreme Court in the Kiobel case. Since then every case which had been filed under the ATS has been dismissed except for two. One which had unusual facts was not dismissed but the judge in that case certified it for immediate appeal on his own initiative.The other is my case. Today, Judge Ponsor denied my motion to appeal the part of his recent ruling (against my Motion to Dismiss) that dealt with the ATS. I am thus the only defendant in America still being sued under the ATS.

The University of Texas has cleared its scholar, Sociology Prof. Mark Regnerus, of any “professional misconduct” related to his landmark study implicating homosexual parenting. Thus U-T rejects the tendentious ethics complaint by Scott Rose (aka Scott Rosenweig), who bills himself as an “investigative reporter,” but is in reality a hateful homosexual activist who viciously and crudely demonizes pro-family leaders.

How hateful and vindictive is Rose? Above is a malicious graphic created by Rose for an attack-piece (since scrubbed from his own blog, which has been down for weeks). Its target is Laurie Thompson, a leader of the Parents Action League, a pro-family group that opposes pro-homosexual policies and curricula in Minneapolis schools. AFTAH has also acquired e-mail correspondence between Thomson and Rose that exposes his abusive tactics, e.g., calling Thompson a “gay-bashing monster.” (Rose writes for a homosexual advocacy website, “The New Civil Rights Movement.”)

In a further demonstration of Rose’s cruelty and penchant for nasty attacks, see the graphic further below in this article — in which he labels pro-marriage leader Maggie Gallagher, a founder of the National Organization for Marriage, as “Maggie Gagginwhore,” under a photo of a pig. Kirkwood, LaBarbera discuss victim-mongering behind latest FAKE homosexual “hate crime”

This is a copy of the Southern Poverty Law Center’s spurious online “Hate Map” listing for the District of Columbia. Note the inclusion of Family Research Council and Traditional Values Coalition on the list. The graphic for the “Hate Map” is a photo of what appears to be neo-Nazis with one giving a Heil Hitler salute. After police arrested “gay” activist Floyd Corkins for shooting  a staffer at FRC, they reportedly learned that he also had TVC’s address on his person, as a potential second target. It is highly likely that Corkins got his “hit list” from the SPLC’s devious and politically skewed “hate” listings.

Barber, AFTAH President Peter LaBarbera and co-host John Kirkwood (pastor at Grace Gospel Fellowship Church in Bensenville, IL) discuss the shooting at Family Research Council (FRC) by reported “gay” advocate Floyd Corkins. Barber and LaBarbera note the linkage to the leftist Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), which famously has labeled FRC, AFTAH and other pro-family organizations “hate groups” to diminish their credibility and influence in society. (In the wake of the shootking, Barber calls the preposterous SPLC designation a “Hit List.”) Now it has been reported that Corkins might also have targeted Traditional Values Coalition— a much lesser-known pro-family group that just happens to be on the same SPLC “hate group” list for the D.C. area as FRC.

In the second half hour, LaBarbera and Kirkwood discuss a fake lesbian “hate crime” in Nebraska that’s getting lots of attention, and also the recent “kitchen table debate” betweetn National Organization for Marriage President Brian Brown and homosexual militant and cyber-hater Dan Savage. Kirkwood says it was foolish for Brown to agree to the debate at Savage’s home, because it only lends credibility to Savage. Kirkwood and LaBarbera note that Brown did not bring up some of Savage’s more notorious and extreme statements (e.g., his own personal involvement in sexual “three-ways”), and Kirkwood says the event almost comes off as an “infomercial for Savage.”

No pro-family group or business, including Chick-fil-A, could match GLN’s hate

Pro-family Americans by the tens of thousands packed Chick-fil-A restaurants last Wednesday to counter the leftist, pro-homosexual campaign against this wonderful, Christian-run corporation. A “gay kiss-in” protest two days later fizzled.

Hello all: Americans For Truth will be standing up for the lone, embattled Chick-fil-A restaurant in downtown Chicago this afternoon at 4:30 — to counter the Gay Liberation Network (GLN) protest at the same restaurant (located at 30 E. Chicago Ave). As longtime AFTAH followers know, GLN is one of the most extreme and hateful organizations in the world. In fact, these hard-core Marxists are so radical that they REFUSED to condemn the pro-homosexual brick attack against AFTAH’s banquet last year at Christian Liberty Academy. (Incidentally, don’t forget to save Saturday, Oct. 27th for this year’s banquet at CLA featuring Dr. Judith Reisman!)

Imagine if Chick-fil-A COO Dan Cathy publicly and pointedly refused to condemn a violent attack against a homosexual “rights” organization. He’d be pilloried the media, and rightly so. Yes, we live in a world of media double-standards. And believe it or not, it was the hate-mongering Gay Liberation Network that lobbied the Southern Poverty Law Center to smear AFTAH by labeling us a “hate group.”

I don’t exaggerate when I label GLN “bullies.” Not only did they refuse to condemn the hate-violence against Americans For Truth (for which a “gay” blogger called them hateful), but their co-leader, Bob Schwartz, once threatened to push me into oncoming traffic in downtown Chicago! (He told me that “my friends,” a few cops standing nearby, prevented him from doing so.) These zealots champion homosexual “Wikileaks” traitor Bradley Manning as a “hero,” and they have successfully pressured hotels to reject hosting AFTAH events by smearing us as a “hate group” — when the truth is nobody on the pro-family side, including Chick-fil-A, comes close to the brand of hate practiced by GLN.
