Homosexual takes credit for switching Rep. David Dreier’s vote on ENDA
Homosexual "outing" activist Mike Rogers takes credit for Rep. David Dreier's and Rep. Jim McCrery's pro-homosexual voting switch on ENDA in 2007.
“Gay” “outing” activist Mike Rogers (right) attempts to expose the secret homosexuality of politicians who vote against the homosexual activist agenda. Below he responds to my call for potential Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan, Rep. David Dreier (R-CA), Rep. Patrick McHenry (R-NC) and Florida Gov. Charlie Crist to answer the question of whether they practice (or have practiced) homosexual behavior.
Rogers’ questions, though perverse, are fair, I suppose, since AFTAH is demanding transparency and honesty from others in the public arena who will influence public policy on the homosexual issue. But once again I disappoint our many homosexual critics because I do not have — and never had — a homosexual problem.
Shocking claim: As you can read HERE on my political site, Rogers takes credit for Rep. Dreier (and Rep. Jim McCrery, R-La.) switching in 2007 to support ENDA, the Employment Non-Discrimination Act, which would federalize employment “rights” based on homosexuality, bisexuality and transsexuality. If his report is even close to the truth, then it constitutes further evidence of the dangers of hidden homosexuality in the Republican Party.
We’ll see if the GOP leadership — which still can’t say no to homosexual activist “Republicans” — has learned anything from the Mark Foley scandal. (Dreier’s staff hung up on two calls by this writer inquiring about the Congressman’s sexual preference.)
My response follows Rogers’ very “queer” query after the jump. — Peter LaBarbera, www.aftah.org

Laurie Higgins fought the teaching of the pornographic homosexual-authored play "Angels in America" as a high school writing instructor.
Our interview with Laurie Higgins, a writer with Illinois Family Institute, aired on May 8, 2010. Higgins is a relative newcomer to the pro-family scene but has distinguished herself with her brilliant and cogent analyses of homosexual activism and with her “deconstruction” — to borrow a leftist term — of “queer” argumentation and concepts (e.g., “sexual orientation”).
Higgins is a former writing instructor at Deerfield High School in the northern Chicago suburb of Deerfield, Illinois. In Part One of this two-part interview, she describes how she was demoted at the school after speaking out about the promotion of homosexuality to students. She objected to the teaching of Angels in America: A Gay Fantasia on National Themes, a pornographic and blasphemous play by homosexual activist playwright Tony Kushner, to senior English students, and it was all downhill from there. In the end, after she had left Deerfield, Higgins learned that the district superintendent, George Fornero, a homosexual, had helped to spread malicious misinformation about Higgins and her family to other educators.
For a sample of Higgins’ writing, go HERE and HERE and HERE.

 Solicitor General Elena Kagan
CHICAGO, Ill. — In the wake of AP’s report that Solicitor General Elena Kagan is President Obama’s choice to fill the Supreme Court vacancy, Americans For Truth About Homosexuality (AFTAH) reiterates its call for Kagan to answer the question: ‘Are (or were) you a practicing homosexual?’
According to some reports it is an open secret that Kagan is a practicing lesbian — to which AFTAH President Peter LaBarbera responds:
“If Kagan is practicing immoral sexual behavior, it reflects on her character as a judicial nominee and her personal bias as potentially one of the most important public officials in America. The popular mantra — even among conservatives — is that Kagan’s sexuality is ‘irrelevant.’ But a Justice Kagan would help decide some critically important constitutional issues dealing with: homosexual ‘marriage’ as a supposed civil right; religious liberty and freedom of conscience; and the First Amendment as applied to citizens’ right to oppose homosexuality. So it certainly matters if she, as a lifetime judge, could emerge as a crusading (openly) ‘gay’ advocate on the court.
“Kagan has a strong pro-homosexual record, including, as Harvard dean, fighting to keep military recruiters off the campus because the military bars homosexuals. Americans certainly have a right to know if her activism is driven by deeply personal motivations that could undermine her fairness as a judge.”
“Besides, in an era of ubiquitous pro-gay messages and pop culture celebration of homosexuality, it’s ridiculous that Americans should be left guessing as to whether a Supreme Court nominee has a special, personal interest in homosexuality.

Update: leftist group fixes error but retains inaccurate claim about LaBarbera
Southern Poverty Law Center director Mark Potok sent AFTAH a snide message to point out a small factual error, yet for years the SPLC has confused AFTAH's Peter LaBarbera with Family Research Institute founder Paul Cameron on its website.
EDTIORS NOTE: After the publication of our article, the SPLC fixed the major error described below of (twice) confusing AFTAH President Peter LaBarbera for Family Research Institute founder Paul Cameron. However, the leftist group’s website retains one error, claiming that LaBarbera called for closing down all homosexual “establishments.” In actuality, LaBarbera called for closing down all “gay” sex clubs and bathhouses (where men go to have anonymous sexual encounters with other men) in the interest of protecting the public’s health.
By AFTAH Staff
The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), a left-wing organization under fire for expanding its “hate” designations beyond racist fringe groups to pro-family organizations like Americans For Truth About Homosexuality (AFTAH) and the conservative Tea Party movement — has mistaken AFTAH President Peter LaBarbera for Family Research Institute researcher Paul Cameron in two longstanding “Intelligence Report” posts on its website.
The sophomoric error first appeared in a Spring 2005 SPLC “Intelligence Report,” “A Mighty Army,” about pro-family organizations opposed to homosexuality (see the section on Page 3 of Concerned Women for America). It was repeated in a Summer 2006 SPLC “Intelligence Report” article, “Passive Aggressive,” by Heidi Beirich. Both fallacious reports have been posted on the Southern Poverty Law Center website for years and have been repeated by sympathetic liberal activists on the web. The SPLC, which raises and spends millions of dollars annually for its “anti-hate” political and research activities, works with government and law enforcement authorities to provide research on alleged “hate” groups.

The above excerpt from the 2005 Southern Poverty Law Center report "A Mighty Army" mistakes Peter LaBarbera, founder of Americans For Truth, with Paul Cameron, founder of Family Research Institute. The typo in the first sentence (should be "In") appears in the original report.
Ironically, after the Southern Poverty Law Center outrageously designated Americans For Truth as a “hate” website — urged on by the pro-communist “Gay Liberation Network” — SPLC director Mark Potok sent Americans For Truth the following snide e-mail message to correct an inadvertent error in a column by (AFTAH Board Member) Matt Barber:
I know you all value accuracy above all things — I can tell that from the fine and incisive quality of your writing and research. Therefore, I\’m sure you\’ll want to let Matt know that we\’re based in Montgomery, Ala., not Atlanta, Ga. I know these places all seem the same to you — kind of like the unspeakable horrors of homosexuality — but hey, they\’re not. Of course, Matt does appear incapable of doing any actual reporting — his little attack piece is a compendium of ancient quotes he dredges from a 10-year-old Harper\’s magazine article.

Knight describes freedom-crushing effects of ENDA
 Robert Knight
In Part Two of our interview with pro-family veteran Robert Knight, he discusses the reality of “sexual orientation” and the law — specifically, the potential of ENDA (the Employment Non-Discrimination Act) to destroy freedom. Knight is a senior writer for Coral Ridge Ministries and the author of, among other works, “Radical Rulers: The White House Elites Who Are Pushing America Towards Socialism.”
Also in this interview (go HERE to listen to Part One), Knight discusses now-discredited sex researcher Alfred Kinsey, Obama’s effort to allow open homosexuals in the U.S. military, and Obama’s radical new appointee to the EEOC, lesbian Chai Feldblum.

Homosexual activists are using the schools to indoctrinate very young children in the idea that homosexuality "is just one more kind of love," to quote from the homosexual picture book, "Daddy's Roommate." Many Christians still are unaware of how aggressively pro-homosexual "change agents" are pushing their unbiblical agenda in schools.
The follow public prayer was offered by AFTAH President Peter LaBarbera’s yesterday on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C. It was part of the national repentance event, “May Day: A Cry to God for a Nation in Distress,” organized by Faith2Action’s Janet Porter:
___________________________________
Dear Heavenly Father,
Forgive our nation for our sexual sin. Forgive us for our excessive “tolerance” as a nation – and, as individuals, for the creeping sins, sexual and otherwise, that we have “tolerated” in our own lives. Father, forgive us for not hating sin like you hate sin. And forgive us for confusing merciful love for homosexuals with ungodly acceptance of homosexual behavior itself.
Indeed, it is a long, secular road that America has traveled from “abomination” to “gay.” Forgive us for caring more about the prideful words of men than the eternal Word of God. But Father, forgive us most of all for doing so little to protect the next generations of young people from a sexual sin movement known – deceptively – as “Gay.”
The Lord Jesus Himself warned us against putting the eternal destinies of children in danger. Yet that is what we have allowed to happen on our watch in this, the most blessed nation on earth. We barely put up resistance as the Gay, Lesbian, Straight Education Network set up pro-homosexual student clubs – first in our high schools, next in our middle schools – and one day (God forbid) they will try to set up these homosexual booster clubs in our elementary schools.

Mike Heath (left) -- pictured above with AFA founder Don Wildmon and Heath's wife, Paulie -- discusses political correctness within the pro-traditional-marriage movement on the "Americans For Truth Hour" radio program (April 24th). Heath is the new director of American Family Association of Maine, and AFA of New England.
To listen online to any AFTAH Hour Radio program: go HERE to access MP3s of the “Americans For Truth Hour” radio program, heard every Saturday night at 11:00 PM Central on Chicagoland station WYLL, AM-1160, www.wyll.com. On the “AFTAH Hour” page are interviews with Dawn Stefanowicz, Pete Lines, Brian Camenker, Michael Glatze and Mike Heath. Listen on May 1st for Part Two of our interview with Robert Knight, Coral Ridge Ministries.
Latest Program Highlights: Mike Heath, new executive director of American Family Association of New England (and AFA of Maine), discusses the new evangelical politics of the fight against “gay marriage.” Heath himself — despite his veteran status as the leading pro-family advocate opposing the homosexualist agenda in Maine — was “thrown under the bus” in the most recent pro-marriage campaign in Maine, because he was deemed too much of an “anti-gay” lightning rod.
NOTE: this interview is a substitute for Part Two of our interview with Bob Knight, author of “Radical Rulers: The White House Elites Who Are Pushing America Towards Socialism” (listen to Part One online HERE). Due to a scheduling conflict, so the second part of Knight’s interview with AFTAH will air this Saturday, May 1 at 11:00 PM on www.wyll.com.

 Elena Kagan
Folks, in an era of ubiquitous pro-“gay” messages and pop culture celebration of homosexuality, it is ridiculous that citizens and constituents should be left guessing as to whether a judicial nominee or politician has a special interest in homosexuality. Speculation is rife over whether potential Supreme Court nominee and Solicitor General Elena Kagan is a practicing lesbian. Kagan has a radical pro-homosexual record, including, during her tenure as Harvard law school dean, fighting to keep military recruiters off campus because the military bans open homosexuals.
Given the important issues dealing with homosexuality and opposition to it that could come before the court, Kagan should answer the question of whether she has a special, personal interest in lesbianism. In the same way, any politician — especially those representing more conservative areas — should come clean on the homosexuality question, especially if it is an “open secret” or becomes the subject of wide discussion. Just as a “conservative” politician’s constituents have a right to know whether he is secretly a skirt-chaser, they have a right to know if he is practicing immoral homosexual behavior.
Our appeal to Ms. Kagan and all hiding-in-the-closet pols: answer the question — “Are you a practicing homosexual or do you consider yourself homosexual (gay)? — and move on. Homosexuals’ privacy interests do not outweigh the public’s right to know about potential conflicts-of-interest in the lives of their representatives and judges. — Peter LaBarbera, www.aftah.org
American Family Association’s “One News Now” reports:

What the people don’t know could hurt them
By Charlie Butts – OneNewsNow – 4/28/2010
The president of Americans for Truth About Homosexuality (AFTAH) addresses whether a candidate for public office, including the Supreme Court, should declare their sexual preference or leanings.
LaBarbera has raised the question because of hints in the press that some of the possible picks for a Supreme Court vacancy are either homosexual or heavily favor special rights for homosexuals.
