Homosexual behavior is extremely unhealthy and frequently leads to the premature death of those who practice it — especially men. Many readers will remember homosexual activist Bob Hattoy’s 1992 Democratic National Convention speech [watch it on YouTube HERE] attacking Ronald Reagan and President George Herbert Walker Bush on AIDS. Now Hattoy is dead at age 56.
In his famous speech (read the full text on this pro-homosexual blog), Hattoy, who had AIDS, could not have been more wrong: the dreaded disease that ultimately killed him does “discriminate” — which is why the majority of AIDS cases in America continue to be linked to male homosexual behavior (and intravenous drug abuse).
The life-threatening health risks from practicing (male) homosexual behavior is the elephant in the room that self-styled “compassionate,” politically correct elites refuse to acknowledge.
It is our hope and prayer that men — young, old, and in between — will turn away from this, yes, immoral lifestyle which is deadly to both body and soul. — Peter LaBarbera
Gay.com reports on Hattoy’s life and tragically early death…

Excerpted from Democratic, AIDS Activist Bob Hattoy Dies, published Mar 5, 2007, by Gay.com:
Bob Hattoy, an advocate for gay and lesbian issues who accused the former President Bush of doing nothing about AIDS during a nationally televised speech at the Democratic National Convention, has died. He was 56.
Hattoy, president of the California Fish and Game Commission, died Sunday of complications from the disease, said Adrianna Shea, a special assistant to the commission.Hattoy arrived on the national scene in 1992, when he spoke at the Democratic National Convention and became the first openly gay person to address the national convention of a political party. In his historic speech, Hattoy spoke eloquently about being an HIV-positive American.
“I don’t want to die,” he said. “But I don’t want to live in an America where the president sees me as an enemy. I can face dying because of a disease, but not because of politics.”
Hattoy served as a political appointee in both Clinton administrations, but he was vocal about his opposition to President Clinton’s ‘don’t ask, don’t tell’ military policy. After critiquing the Administration, Hattoy was reassigned to the Department of the Interior. Despite their disagreements, Hattoy remained close with the Clinton family, according to the National Stonewall Democrats, the national LGBT Democratic advocacy group, of which Hattoy was a member.

Either General Peter Pace is right: Homosexual acts are immoral.
or
Homosexual activist Matt Foreman is right: “Pace is immoral, gays are fabulous.”
Which is it, America?
——————————
Excerpted from Rabbi arrested at New York demo over gays in the military, published Mar 15, 2007, by The Raw Story:
…Rabbi Sharon Kleinbaum and National Gay and Lesbian Taskforce chief Matt Foreman were detained after sitting down in the road to block traffic passing a military recruiting station in the bustling Times Square intersection. The ad hoc group of around 50 demonstrators were protesting comments made by the US military’s top officer, General Peter Pace, who said in an interview published Tuesday that homosexual acts were immoral.
Shouting “Pace is immoral, gays are fabulous” and “military bigots have got to go,” protesters, some wearing t-shirts saying “Queer Guerilla” and waving placards calling for Pace to quit, wrapped themselves in a giant rainbow flag.
Former New Jersey governor and gay activist Jim McGreevey condemned the US military’s official policy on gays in the military, known as “don’t ask, don’t tell,” saying it treated homosexuals as second class citizens.

MSNBC aired a debate on Sat, Mar 10, 2007, between Matt Foreman of the National Gay & Lesbian Task Force (Task Force) and Peter Sprigg, Vice President for Policy at Family Research Council (FRC) — and the topic was Deerfield High School’s “Freshman Advisory” which includes presentations by students who identify as homosexual, bisexual, or “transgendered.”
Watch the MSNBC debate HERE.
Matt Foreman suggested the “gay” panel was simply part of broader program that includes blacks, Latinos, etc. (We’re not sure how he knows that since District 113 officials have refused to release the curriculum to local parents.) He claimed that “gay” students are disproportionately the victim of bullying & violence.
Peter Sprigg said that FRC would prefer that the school do away with whole program, in part because they’re presenting only one side (which is viewpoint discrimination) which may encourage kids to prematurely label themselves as homosexual or bisexual. He pointed to studies that demonstrate younger kids are often unsure/confused but later heterosexual.
Matt Foreman asserted that only a small minority of parents object and claimed that opponents are spreading “lies & myths” about the panel — “this is part of gay agenda,” homosexual students are recruiting, etc.
Peter Sprigg suggested that anyone interested in learning about the homosexual agenda might go to www.frc.org.
Matt Foreman said to Peter Sprigg: “Your propaganda creates bullying and violence against gays — Why are you so obsessed with gays?”
Peter Sprigg said, and we agree: “We believe all kids should be protected against bullying & violence.” He went on to say that most bullying occurs because of appearance & body size and asked “Are we going to have a panel of obese students telling kids it’s good to be overweight?”

Why is “fair and balanced” FOX News, whose audience is largely conservative, joining with liberal media corporations to support an influential “gay” activist organization that falsely casts homosexuality as a civil rights issue?
Tonight (Thursday), Mar 15, 2007, the National Lesbian & Gay Journalists Association (NJGJA) hosts its 12th Annual New York Benefit. This isn’t the first time that FOX has given to the homosexual journalists’ group — whose national president made the spurious analogy that seeking both sides in media coverage on homosexuality is like going to “white supremacists” for a story about interracial marriage.
The following are sponsors for tonights event:
- FOX News is a “Silver Sponsor” with anchor Martha MacCallum (pictured below) as “special guest.”
- ABC News is the “Diamond Sponsor and Host” with anchor Brian Ross serving as master of ceremonies.
- CNN is a “Platinum Sponsor” with Soledad O’Brien of American Morning as “special guest.”
- NBC is a “Platinum Sponsor” with Rita Cosby of MSNBC, Natalie Morales and Meredith Viera of Today Show, and Carl Quintanilla of Squawkbox (CNBC) as “special guests.”
- CBS News is a “Gold Sponsor” with anchor Jason Bellini of LOGO, anchor Russ Mitchell, and Erin Moriarty of 48 Hours as “special guests.”
- The New York Times is a “Bronze Sponsor” with Robert Lipsyte as “special guest.”
Tickets to the VIP reception cost $500. With polls showing that about half the country supports Gen. Peter Pace’s belief that homosexual acts are immoral, we wonder how FOX and the dominant media can claim to be impartial in covering “gay”-related issues when they financially support pro-homosexual organizations like the NLGJA?
TAKE ACTION — Let FOX News know that you are not pleased with their contribution to tonight’s event.

Excerpted from The Crime of Conviction, by Chuck Colson, published Mar 15, 2007, by Breakpoint:
…While the world should be applauding a man who proposes that one of the most important institutions in our country should have moral integrity, instead we hammer him for having a conviction.
But I believe this goes far beyond the whole question of homosexuals in the military and the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy. This cuts to the core of the question of whether anyone in public office is free to speak his deepest religious or moral convictions. The Constitution says there will be no religious test for office, and yet we are applying one. We are basically saying that if you are the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, you are not allowed to express your moral or religious views — especially on matters of sexual preference and behavior.
This is another sign that we live in an age that no longer believes in objective truth or a moral order. Moral relativism is the rule, and personal preference trumps all. And government is there to ensure that no one place any restraint on the pursuit of our own desires.
I have long said that C. S. Lewis was prophetic when in 1943 he wrote about the irony of our education system, saying, “Such is the tragicomedy of our situation — we continue to clamour for those very qualities we are rendering impossible. . . . In a sort of ghastly simplicity we remove the organ and demand the function. We make men without chests and expect of them virtue and enterprise. We laugh at honour and are shocked to find traitors in our midst.”
Ironic that today, the head of our Joint Chiefs of Staff argues that the military should have consistent policies of moral integrity, and the world demands an apology. Maybe it is time to lock him up: General Pace is guilty. He has committed the intolerable crime of our day: He has stated his conviction in a value-free society that respects only so-called “tolerance.”
As for me, well, General Pace makes me proud that I am a former Marine.

From Exodus International, published Mar 15, 2007:
Montel Williams reveals his bias and hostility towards former homosexuals on today’s show, “Homosexuality . . . Can it be Cured?” Alan Chambers, President of Exodus International, accepted an invitation to discuss homosexuality and the option of change in the hopes that it would bring a message of hope to a broader audience, but instead, found himself the target of malicious questions, unfair accusations and open hostility.
Former Exodus Board Member, Tom Cole, and his wife Donna, both former homosexuals, were slated to be guests as well, but were thrown off the show for having told Montel Williams that their stories were just as valid as those on the pro-gay side of the argument. Williams became irate, immediately removed them from the panel and had them thrown off the studio premises.
Alan Chambers then found himself the lone voice opposing the views of four guests representing the other side of the debate. The only other former homosexual was placed in the audience and allowed only a short amount of speaking time.
On today’s show, Montel Williams promotes the documentary, “Abomination: Homosexuality and the Ex-Gay Movement.” The film, produced by Alicia Salzer, the director of William’s after-care program, is an inaccurate portrayal of former homosexuals and shows individuals undergoing shock therapy in order to be “cured” of their homosexuality.
Chambers commented on today’s show, “The world is full of many, like Montel Williams, who are hostile to our message. Yet it does not change the fact that thousands of us have experienced change through the power of Jesus Christ. We will continue to share the hope we have found and the freedom that is available to all.”
PLEASE PRAY — Please pray that many will hear a message of hope despite the hostility that is expressed towards those who have experienced change. Please pray for Montel Williams and his staff as well.
PLEASE VOICE YOUR OPINION — The media must hear from individuals like us who value personal freedom and the option of change. Please use this opportunity to voice your views in a manner that reflects Christ’s love.
