In Obama’s Navy, lesbians get the traditional “first kiss”
Below is a redacted copy of President Barack Obama’s Campaign 2012 Tumblr page celebrating another tragic “first” for his Administration: the traditional Naval “first kiss” following a ship’s return to port occurred Dec. 21 between two women — as opposed to the normal and natural male-female spousal kiss. The AP photo below (covered up here by AFTAH for the sake of decency) appeared worldwide, and Obama reposted it along with a portion of the story as it appeared in the British newspaper The Guardian. As you can read in the (typically one-sided) AP story, David Bauer, commanding office of the USS Oak Hill, was in cahoots with this homosexuals-in-the-military promotional stunt, telling AP that the crew was fine with the lesbians’ selection. Said Bauer of the publicly perverse kiss: “It’s going to happen and the crew’s going to enjoy it.” (That’s an order!)
It must be remembered that despite Western modernists’ curious obsession with homosexuality, this lesbian kiss is indecent by historic moral and religious (Judeo-Christian) standards. We are tempted to say Shame on the President, but it is all too obvious by now that this Commander-in-Chief sees no shame in celebrating sexual deviance (sin) — even open displays like this. (Obama infamously pooh-poohed a New Testament passage in Romans that clearly proscribes lesbianism and male homosexual acts.) Liberals cannot rewrite the moral code nor can they redefine decency to accommodate anything-goes sexuality.
Now Obama and the Democrats have ensured that wherever public displays of affection between married spouses and boyfriends-and-girlfriends occur, indecent spectacles like this will be in close proximity. I hope you are having a blessed Christmas season and enjoying spending time with your family during this special season that reminds us of God’s great love for mankind: “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)
Three lesser-known verses follow that point to belief in Jesus as the key to salvation and eternal life: “For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.” (John 3:17-19)
This has been a challenging year for Americans For Truth, as we prepare for some big changes that will put us on solid footing to continue for decades in our unique calling of telling the unvarnished truth about a Sin Movement that calls itself “gay.”
Like previous years, 2011 saw the aggressive homosexual-transsexual lobby grow more arrogant, intolerant and anti-Christian with each passing day — commensurate with its expanding power and utter lack of accountability from the liberal media. But since Christmas Day is just around the corner, I’ll hold off on recounting the lowlights of 2011 until next week. Jesus is the reason…
Instead, I’d like to talk about Jesus Christ. My mother, who has passed away, used to love this rejoinder to the fluff and commercialism surrounding Christmas: “Jesus is the reason for the season.” As much as I love the Christmas season, the secular- and Santa overkill surrounding the holiday only accentuates the trivialization of deep spiritual truth that plagues our nation. These days, even non-Christians recognize that America is in a severe moral crisis – yet unlike our fiscal woes, the secular media block any serious discussion of this social and spiritual malady.
Many give lip service to Jesus, without personal faith, out of sense of history and cultural tradition. “Cultural Christians,” we call them. But the Left has long recognized the value of using Christian idealism to advance its ungodly agendas, e.g., communism. In recent years, the self-styled “queer” lobby has latched on to this strategy – pushing the full homosexualist and gender confusion agenda in the name of “civil rights,” “social justice,” and even morality.
Yes, advocates of sexual sin (masquerading as civil rights crusaders) now embrace Jesus, too. Heck, the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), the world’s most powerful homosexual lobby group, has an online, pro-LGBT Bible study! (Here is one Christmas lesson from “Out in the Scriptures”; note the curious analogy to Mary and emphasis on “gay” victimization.)
Proudly ‘Gay’ Christians?
Another ominous development is the rise of a proud “gay Christian” movement — which to me makes about as much sense as the “Christian porn-users” movement or “Adulterers for Christ.” It just doesn’t work, biblically speaking (see www.RobGagnon.net). Some who take part in this movement are just spiritually confused people, but others are cunning strategists attempting to co-opt Christ and manipulate Bible-believing Christians to win the Culture War. That means sounding more religious and moral in this religious nation, a tactic I saw being honed at the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force organizing conference I attended undercover earlier this year.
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has used the office to promote the acceptance of homosexuality and transgenderism abroad.

On Dec. 6, 2011 Secretary of State Hillary Clinton delivered a speech in honor of International Human Rights Day which is celebrated on Dec. 10, the date in 1948 when the United Nations formally adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. But as we should have expected from a representative of the fervently pro-perversion Obama Administration, Clinton used the occasion to promulgate unproven, liberal assumptions about homosexuality and Gender Identity Disorder (GID).
With the usual cunning of the Left, Clinton begins her speech by referring to the “beating, terrorizing, and executing” of homosexuals, but then with some skillful bait-and-switch rhetoric, she starts talking about undefined “discrimination.” Such a speech would be justified if Clinton were actually concerned only with real human rights abuses such as draconian laws that call for the execution of homosexuals or for acts of violence ignored by police. But anyone familiar with the incoherent world of “progressivism,” understands that moral disapproval of homosexual acts becomes “discrimination” which ineluctably results in “bullying” or “terrorizing.”
Clinton’s repeated use of the absurd comparison of race to homosexuality reveals that intelligence is no guarantee of wisdom. Even really smart people often hold ignorant and foolish ideas. Whereas race is 100 percent heritable, in all cases immutable, and has no behavioral implications that are amenable to moral evaluation, homosexuality is not biologically determined, is in some cases changeable, and is constituted by volitional acts that are legitimate objects of moral evaluation. Someone should ask Clinton to explain the ways she believes race is analogous to homosexuality.

Folks, the audacity and hypocrisy of wicked homosexual activists — and Wayne Besen is just that — never cease to amaze me. Besen and his comically named “Truth Wins Out” — currently playing the victim — are all about defamation and anti-religious slander. He dehumanizes former homosexuals like PFOX’sGreg Quinlan by effectively claiming that they do not exist. (TWO’s propaganda tactic, which I call “Focus on the Failures,” presumes that all “ex-gays” are frauds because a few went back into the homosexual lifestyle; using such illogic, one could highlight ex-druggies who start abusing their bodies again as “proof” that there is no hope for anyone to leave drug addiction behind.)
The belligerent Besen regularly mocks me as “Porno Pete” — even on Barry Lynn’s live radio program [click HERE to listen] — and then cries “Defamation!” when a good man like Greg recounts the venom that flows so effortlessly from Besen’s lips. Greg Quinlan, President of Parents and Friends of Ex-Gays and Gays (PFOX), issued the following statement today in response to a press release emailed to PFOX on behalf of Wayne Besen, an anti-ex-gay blogger, from the paradoxically named “Truth Wins Out” (TWO) hate site: The press release referenced a letter signed by militant gay activist attorney Michael B. Hamar and demanded that Quinlan retract factual statements he recently made about Besen on WDCW-TV.

“I’m not sure what law school Mr. Hamar went to, but apparently he missed class on the day his professor covered defamation. You see, truth is an absolute and affirmative defense to a charge of defamation. I know this and I’m not even a lawyer.”

AFTAH Says Obama’s and Hillary’s International ‘Gay Rights’ Push Will Only Alienate Nations Who Reject America’s Moral Corruption
CHICAGO – Peter LaBarbera, president of Americans For Truth About Homosexuality, issued the following statement in response to the Obama Administration’s announcement Tuesday of a campaign to link American foreign aid to the promotion of homosexuality-based “rights” abroad [a YouTube of Sec. of State Hillary Clinton’s U.N. speech follows] :
With their new escalation of promoting homosexual behavior to other nations through U.S. foreign policy, President Barack Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton have raised America’s defiance toward her Creator to a new level — while needlessly alienating nations less morally compromised than our own. Not content to keep our decadence between our shores, the United States – through aggressively pro-“gay” Democratic administrations – now demands that other countries sink to our level by embracing homosexuality as a “human right.”
Who knew that when President Ronald Reagan spoke idealistically about America becoming a “shining city on the hill,” that city would turn out to be Sodom? Hillary earned plaudits from the Left with her U.N. speech on international “gay rights,” but her words were an affront to our Declaration of Independence, which appeals to “Nature and Nature’s God.”
By redefining “human rights” to include the normalization of same-sex behaviors and gender confusion, Obama and Clinton have turned God’s natural moral order on its head. There are many countries – including Muslim-dominated nations and major powers like Russia – that reject homosexuality. By pushing sexual deviance on these nations, we only confirm their perception of America as a corrupt and declining – and very arrogant — superpower.
America, rooted in the Bible, historically embraced anti-sodomy laws, but now we are in the grip of an unprecedented moral and spiritual crisis that blackens our reputation worldwide. As one Muslim tweeted in reaction to Obama’s international “gay rights” plan: “There is a great divide between the Founding Fathers and the pro-gay regime ruling America [today].”
Aberrant sexuality is not a fundamental liberty, and defending morality is not hateful “bigotry.” Hillary claims, “Being gay is not a Western invention, it is a human reality.” But homosexuality is about changeable behavior – not intrinsic, innate identity – as evidenced by countless men and women who now live happy lives apart from homosexuality, despite once considering themselves “gay” or “lesbian.”

ACKNOWLEDGE HIGH RISK ‘GAY’ SEX: Recognize HIV/AIDS as a predominantly “gay disease” in the USA (as some LGBT leaders like Matt Foreman have admitted) — linked to male homosexual behavior (and IV drug abuse—another high-risk behavior). Gay writer Jack Hart has called gay male sex practices like anal sex “highly efficient ways of transmitting disease.”
TEACH KIDS REAL RISKS IN THE CLASSROOM: Stop pretending that all lifestyles are at equal risk for AIDS – because HIV is NOT behaviorally- or lifestyle-neutral. Instead, teach students in school health classes the DOCUMENTED REALITY that certain behaviors, especially male homosexual sex, are particularly high-risk for contracting HIV (and other STDs like hepatitis). See this September 2011 CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) fact sheet, which points out: “MSM [men who have sex with men] account for more than half of all new HIV infections in the United States each year (61%, or an estimated 29,300 infections).”
RE-STIGMATIZE DANGEROUS BEHAVIORS: In the wider culture and especially among youth, re-stigmatize anal sex and other (predominantly) homosexual acts (e.g., “rimming,” homosexual slang for oral-anus perversion). If other behaviors were as dangerous as homosexual male sex, there would be well-funded PR campaigns and government mobilizations to curtail them. Political Correctness is no excuse for failing to educate against bad and harmful behaviors.
CLOSE DOWN GAY BATHHOUSES: Using whatever means and laws necessary, shut down all “gay” bathhouses (e.g., Steamworks in Chicago, and Flex Baths in Cleveland). These anonymous sex clubs facilitate unnatural and deviant, disease-spreading sex. Moreover, because they are used by bisexual men and those on the “down low” (homosexuality-practicing men who do not identify as “gay”), bathhouses help spread AIDS to innocent women. For the record, AFTAH also supports citizen action against heterosexual swinger clubs as well as strip clubs and pornographic video stores, which promote promiscuity and undermine natural marriage.
CHICAGO—The discovery that former Penn State University defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky has been molesting boys as young as 10 years old – and that university officials including head coach Joe Paterno did not do more to apprehend this predator – has shocked America.
