Here is the Washington Examiner report (video and print excerpt) on the shooting of a security guard at Family Research Council in Washington, D.C. As we will not in forthcoming posts, some major media are already ignoring the obvious political motive of this attack — by a troubled man who volunteered at a “gay” community center in Washington, D.C. Thanks to the heroics of Mr. Johnson, a potential massacre was prevented.
FBI officials took a man into custody after a security guard was shot at the downtown headquarters of the conservative Family Research Council on Wednesday morning.
Sources familiar with the incident told The Washington Examiner they believe the shooter had issues with the Christian group’s support for “traditional marriage” and opposition to same-sex marriage. The FBI and D.C. police are investigating the incident and wouldn’t comment on a potential motive.
ROCKFORD, Illinois–More than 120 pro-family and pro-life leaders from 11 countries signed a letter initiated by the World Congress of Families, protesting the U.S. Embassy’s participation in the Prague “Gay Pride” parade on August 18.
Signers include a former President of the Southern Baptist Convention, a former Majority Leader of the U.S. House of Representatives, a former Arkansas Governor, the head of Torah Jews for Decency and the former Venezuelan Ambassador to the Vatican.
The letter notes that the Obama administration has made promoting gay rights – including same-sex marriage – a foreign policy priority. If also observes the irony of those who complain ceaselessly about “cultural imperialism,” trying to force the worldviews of the American left on societies with traditional values.
It further comments that: “The United Nations has never affirmed homosexual marriage or rights” and that the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights specifically says that “men and women…have a right to marry and found a family.” Family is described as “the natural and fundamental group unit of society” and, as such, “is entitled to protection by society and the state.”
Nothing screams “Perversion!” like the annual Folsom Street Fair in San Francisco, America’s first homosexual Mecca — where mostly homosexual men (and some “straights,” using that term loosely) party in the city’s streets — many in near- or total nudity. No pro-family group or business, including Chick-fil-A, could match GLN’s hate
Pro-family Americans by the tens of thousands packed Chick-fil-A restaurants last Wednesday to counter the leftist, pro-homosexual campaign against this wonderful, Christian-run corporation. A “gay kiss-in” protest two days later fizzled.

Hello all: Americans For Truth will be standing up for the lone, embattled Chick-fil-A restaurant in downtown Chicago this afternoon at 4:30 — to counter the Gay Liberation Network (GLN) protest at the same restaurant (located at 30 E. Chicago Ave). As longtime AFTAH followers know, GLN is one of the most extreme and hateful organizations in the world. In fact, these hard-core Marxists are so radical that they REFUSED to condemn the pro-homosexual brick attack against AFTAH’s banquet last year at Christian Liberty Academy. (Incidentally, don’t forget to save Saturday, Oct. 27th for this year’s banquet at CLA featuring Dr. Judith Reisman!)
Imagine if Chick-fil-A COO Dan Cathy publicly and pointedly refused to condemn a violent attack against a homosexual “rights” organization. He’d be pilloried the media, and rightly so. Yes, we live in a world of media double-standards. And believe it or not, it was the hate-mongering Gay Liberation Network that lobbied the Southern Poverty Law Center to smear AFTAH by labeling us a “hate group.”
I don’t exaggerate when I label GLN “bullies.” Not only did they refuse to condemn the hate-violence against Americans For Truth (for which a “gay” blogger called them hateful), but their co-leader, Bob Schwartz, once threatened to push me into oncoming traffic in downtown Chicago! (He told me that “my friends,” a few cops standing nearby, prevented him from doing so.) These zealots champion homosexual “Wikileaks” traitor Bradley Manning as a “hero,” and they have successfully pressured hotels to reject hosting AFTAH events by smearing us as a “hate group” — when the truth is nobody on the pro-family side, including Chick-fil-A, comes close to the brand of hate practiced by GLN.

Another retailer gets behind ‘gay marriage’
With Target’s new wedding registry ad featuring a male couple, one proponent of natural marriage says the retailer is apparently promoting homosexual marriage.

In recent months, JC Penney’s advertising has promoted homosexuality — both through print ads and the selection of lesbian comedian Ellen DeGeneres as the company’s spokesperson. Not to be outdone, Target’s ad promoting its wedding registry depicts two men holding hands, standing nose-to-nose. They are accompanied by the slogan, “Be yourself, together. Build a Target wedding gift registry as unique as the two of you.”
Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth About Homosexuality (AFTAH) is troubled that Target or any other corporation would sell out to the same-sex “marriage” agenda.
“So, once again, American consumers are going to face a choice,” he notes. “Do we spend a lot of money at Target or not. Do we patronize a business that celebrates counterfeit marriage, as blasphemous as that is, attaching the noble institution of marriage to homosexuality, or do we take our business elsewhere?”

I came away with renewed hope for America, and feeling that perhaps the Silent Majority of decent, churchgoing Americans is finally rising up. Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel and others on the Intolerant, ‘Homo-Fanatical’ Left may have helped wake up a sleeping giant.
