Deluded out-and-proud ‘gays’ reject pedophilia as causing their sexual confusion
CNN evening anchor Don Lemon has declared his homosexuality — to the surprise of few who have followed his biased reporting on homosexuality issues — including his direct promotion of the “gay” activist political agenda. (In 2006, as a Chicago newsman for NBC5, Lemon hosted a fundraiser for Equality Illinois, a homosexual lobby group, thus violating the principle of journalistic non-involvement in politics.) In the 2010 CNN video below about the alleged pederastic activity of Atlanta mega-pastor Bishop Eddie Long[Read DL Foster’s “Gay Christian Movement Watch” post on Bishop Long HERE.], Lemon reveals that he was molested as a boy (about 5:21 in the YouTube video). What is perplexing is that Lemon, like so many self-styled “gay” men, apparently does not view his molestation as a major causative factor in his homosexual identity and behavior. “People are going to say: ‘Oh, he was molested as a kid and now he is coming out [as homosexual].’ I get it,” Lemon told the New York Times dismissively, in discussing his new book. “Transparent,” in which he reveals his homosexuality. To me, there is no greater proof of the perverse self-deception of homosexuality than to behold how sexually confused adults incorporate their victimization at the hands of pedophiles into their out-and-proud “gay” identity. Which is to say — even before reading his book: “Don, you are not ‘gay,’ but the victim of a homosexual child molester, who corrupted your mind, body and soul — and innocence — at a tender young age!” More on this later. — Peter LaBarbera, www.aftah.org
‘Gay’ “Bullying Tactics” won’t dissuade marriage defenders, says TFP leader
Pro-homosexual "marriage" activist attacks TFP banner that proclaimed marriage as it truly is: between a man and a woman. TFP members shouted "Aggressor!" as the assailant did his dirty deed. Later, a TFP member was hit in the head by a beer bottle thrown from a car passing by.
Folks, we’ve seen this nasty brand of homosexual bullying and intolerance so often that we’re no longer shocked by it. Watch the TFP Student Action video as peaceful TFP members shout “Aggressor!” as this troubled man walks up and destroys their banner, in Fairport, New York. Imagine if a bunch of pro-family activists did this to a pro-“gay banner” banner! (CBS, ABC, NBC, and CNN would be lining up to tell the story.) TFP is a Catholic group that has done yeoman’s work standing up for real marriage across the nation. Watch the TFP Student Action video at their website HERE. — Peter LaBarbera,. www.aftah.org

Video: Pro-Homosexual Advocate Destroys Traditional Marriage Banner in New York
Contact: Contact: John Ritchie, American Society for the Defense of Tradition, Family, and Property, 717-495-5427
As young TFP volunteers stood at the corner of Main Street and Church Street with signs, a pro-homosexualist hurled himself against the group’s thirteen foot long banner inscribed with “God’s Marriage = 1 Man & 1 Woman.” The banner, held by three volunteers, was knocked down and violently torn to pieces.
Dr. Michael Brown, author of "A Queer Thing Happened to America," and one of the world's leading Jewish Christian scholars.
Here is Part One of my interview with Mike Brown [click HERE to listen], perhaps one of the most politically incorrect leaders on the planet. This was pre-recorded and aired April 23rd. Brown, the director of the Coalition of Conscience, based in Charlotte, N.C., is author of “A Queer Thing Happened to America,” a new book about the amazing rise in power of organized homosexuality in the United States. Brown, as a Jewish man who believes in Jesus Christ, is also one of the world’s leading authorities on Jewish Christianity. He has engaged in numerous debates with rabbis about the divinity of Jesus, and authored many books on the subject. In this first segment of our in-depth interview, Brown discusses how he came to faith in Jesus Christ after rebelling as a teenager and getting into very heavy drug use. It is a fascinating testimony and a witness to the awesome, redemptive power of God. — Peter LaBarbera, www.aftah.org

Joe Jervis is in the business of "Defamation" -- he especially hates Christian conservatives who criticize homosexuality -- and yet he got an "Outstanding Blog" award from GLAAD, a "gay" "anti-defamation" group.
Culture warrior Matt Barber — one of the many people who have personally suffered at the hands of pro-homosexual activists — had this to say about GLAAD (Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) giving its 2011 “Outstanding Blog” award to radical, hateful homosexual activist Joe Jervis and his “Joe.My.God.” blog:
“So GLAAD, a self-described anti-defamation group, gives an award to one of the most vicious, vile and vulgar anti-Christian bigots on the planet and expects to be taken seriously? Hey, while we’re at it why not give Muammar Gaddafi the ‘Humanitarian of the Year’ award. Or how about a Nobel Peace Prize for Barack Oba… Oh, wait….”
Barber is Vice President of Liberty Counsel Action, an Associate Dean at Liberty University School of Law, and Board Member of Americans For Truth. By the way, we’re delighted to report that the devious Jervis is wasting his money on the purchase of the web domain “americanfortruth.com” (no “s” after “american”) to steer unsuspecting visitors who intend to reach AFTAH (www.americansfortruth.com) to his mean-spirited blog. We’re pretty sure pro-family people won’t be persuaded by his particular brand of anti-Christian “defamation” — although Jervis does help us keep up with homosexuality-related news. — Peter LaBarbera, www.aftah.org
GLAAD honors cyber-hater Joe Jervis, who mocks “Jeebus” and engages in dehumanizing smears against pro-family conservatives
WARNING: Offensive descriptions
WORDS MATTER ... Says the logo for the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation. So why does GLAAD honor a hateful homosexual bloger, Joe Jervis, who routinely mocks Christians (he uses the atheist term "Jeebus") and vilifies pro-family conservatives with crude putdowns?
CHICAGO, Illinois — Peter LaBarbera, president of Americans For Truth About Homosexuality (AFTAH), today assailed the blatant hypocrisy of GLAAD, a homosexual “anti-defamation” organization, for giving an award to Joe Jervis – who runs a viciously anti-Christian blog.
GLAAD (Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) gave its 2011 Media Award for “Outstanding Blog” to Jervis, a New York-based homosexual atheist and creator of the blog “Joe.My.God.” – a daily compilation of homosexuality-related news. JMG is filled with name-calling and nasty barbs directed especially at religious conservatives who oppose homosexuality.
GLAAD holds itself up as the arbiter of tolerance and recently announced its partnership with the Los Angeles Lakers to create “positive,” pro-homosexual messaging in the wake of Kobe Bryant’s use of an anti-homosexual slur during a game.
Jervis calls former U.S. Senator Rick Santorum "Frothy Mix" -- repeating the smear of another homosexual cyber-hater, Dan Savage. The latter was upset at then-Sen. Santorum's comments critical of a Supreme Court decision against sodomy laws -- so he "re-defined" Santorum's last name as the vile by-product of sodomy. The above screen-shot from the Savage's "Santorm.com" website was taken April 19, 2011.

Truth Academy in Columbus Examines New Liberal Trend Labeling Christians as ‘Haters’ for Opposing Homosexual Agenda
CHICAGO— Americans For Truth about Homosexuality (AFTAH) is joining with Mission America to co-sponsor an educational “Truth Academy” April 1-2 in Columbus, Ohio, on how to respond to the aggressive homosexual-bisexual-transsexual agenda.
The theme is: “The Hate Labeling of Christians: Why It’s Happening and What We Can Do.” Key details follow:
When:Friday, April 1 (1:00 – 9:00 PM) and Saturday, April 2 (9:30 AM-3:30 PM); Truth Academy doors open Friday at noon; Friday evening dinner-lecture by award-winning journalist David Kupelian, WorldNetDaily editor and author, “The Marketing of Evil,” and “How Evil Works,” (Dinner is included in registration; see full hourly schedule HERE]
Here is Part Two of my radio interview [click HERE to listen] with Greg Quinlan, president of PFOX (Parents and Friends of Ex-Gays and Gays) and a speaker at next month’s Truth Academy co-sponsored by Americans For Truth About Homsexuality and Mission America (April 1-2, in Columbus, Ohio). This pre-recorded interview aired March 5, 2011. Quinlan walked away from homosexuality years ago and now helps others do the same. He also testifies across the nation (most recently in Maryland) against legalizing homosexual “marriage” and other LGBT activist agenda goals. You’ll want to listen to the interview for Greg’s informed answers to some common pro-homosexual objections to idea of leaving homosexuality (ex-“gays”). For example, he responds to those who say, “I prayed for God to remove my homosexuality and he didn’t answer my prayer.” (He stresses that homosexual strugglers who are committed to change can do so.)
Greg calls homosexuality a “wounding” — i.e., it develops as a maladaption to trauma, abuse or emotional wounds in a person’s life. Of course, as a very public former homosexual and one-time “gay” activist, Greg has been targeted by hateful LGBT militants like “Truth Win’s Out” founder Wayne Besen (who derides people trying to — as he mockingly puts it — “pray away the gay”). Today’s young people (and the rest of us) are inundated with “gay”-positive messages that glorify sin and undermine God’s Word. What a blessing it would be to expose a young person to the Truth Academy to hear Greg’s uplifting story in person. First ten questions of the Wright, Adams and Bernat "Homophobia Scale" promoted by PBS. Click to enlarge.
By Peter LaBarbera
Well, I just took the “Homophobia Questionnaire” promoted by PBS’ “Frontline” and it’s official: I am “non-homophobic.” The quiz is called the “Wright, Adams & Bernat Homophobia Scale” and it is — needless to say — biased toward the liberal side on homosexuality. Nevertheless, I “passed” by a comfortable margin — with any score 50 or below registering as “non-homophobic,” and any score 51 or above qualifying as “homophobic.”
Here is Frontline’s description of the test:
In 1996, as part of his study on homophobia, Dr. Henry Adams and his colleagues at the University of Georgia developed their own “Homophobia Scale” by modifying scales used by other researchers in earlier studies. It’s a 25-item questionnaire “designed to measure your thoughts, feelings and behaviors with regards to homosexuality.” The instructions stressed: “It is not a test, so there are no right or wrong answers.”
It should be noted — as we did in reporting pro-family advocates Mat Staver’s and Matt Barber’s “non-homophobic” scores — that we at AFTAH regard the entire concept of “homophobia” as: tendentious; non-scientific; overly-broad, especially due to its ever-expanding application in society (to cover opposition toward rather than irrational fear of homosexuals); subjective; manipulative; and — all too often — a bludgeon with which to demonize and belittle well-meaning opponents of homosexuality (including those motivated by their religion).
