Folks, the following is an excerpt from a 2017 story in the Washington Blade, a newspaper for homosexuals, bisexuals and transgenders in the nation’s capital, regarding then-State Department spokesman and current Trump nominee for U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, Heather Nauert.

Pro-LGBTQ activism and advocacy was a fixture of the Obama years, and social conservatives hoped it would stop under President Trump. Yet it persists, usually through official recognition of special LGBTQ activist “days” like this. Surely there are deep divisions within Trump’s foreign policy team, which by definition includes many Obama holdovers, on whether and how strongly the United States should engage in pro-homosexual/-bisexual/-transgender advocacy of this sort.

When I first heard of Nauert’s nomination, all I could think of was how bizarre it is that Nauert, just years from being a Fox News persona, would likely hold the same position as the esteemed Jeane Kirkpatrick, Reagan’s steely UN ambassador, who played a pivotal role in facing down Soviet aggression and ultimately the fall of Soviet communism. Try as I might, I cannot imagine Kirkpatrick donning purple and hawking a pro-homosexual “Spirit Day.” Let’s just leave it at that. (The event is organized by the anti-Christian LGBTQ leftist group GLAAD.)

State Department Spokesman Acknowledges Spirit Day

State Department spokesperson Heather Nauert on [Oct. 19, 2017] acknowledged a campaign that seeks to combat bullying.

Nauert at the beginning of a press briefing told reporters that “today, along with many of my colleagues here at the State Department, including members of the LGBTI community, in association with GLIFAA (a group that represents LGBT and intersex Foreign Service members), we are — many of us are wearing purple today to celebrate Spirit Day.”

“On Spirit Day, we speak out against bullying of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered and intersex persons and stand with LGBTI youth who disproportionally face bullying and harassment because of their identities,” she said.

Nauert — who was wearing purple — said LGBT and intersex people around the world “face increasing physical attacks, arbitrary arrests just because of who they are or who they love.”

In a way, Americans For Truth is the conscience of the social conservative movement opposing the “LGBTQueer” Lobby, as we call it (it calls itself “Queer”). Here are seven things that set AFTAH apart from mainstream conservatives and even many pro-family advocates:

1. 1. We shoot straight and tell it like it is, defying political correctness even within the conservative and Christian movements. These days, many people on the Right feel free to criticize the downright nutty “transgender” movement but they’re reluctant and/or afraid to criticize its “gay” activist progenitor. They will stand up for victimized Christian bakers but have trouble answering the simple question: Is homosexuality a sin? Not AFTAH.
   2. We are principled and eschew the always-on-defense approach that has characterized the pro-family fight against Big LGBTQ. According to some, the only battle left is to preserve religious freedom. We get that, but it’s far too narrow and timid a mission. The aggressive, prideful and powerful LGBTQueer Sin Movement will settle for nothing short of Total Surrender (including curtailing people’s freedom to dissent, and to pursue healthy heterosexuality). Yet people on our side are always trying to appease Big Gay with one concession after another. The result of conservatives’ endless “Kvetch and Retreat” defeatism is that past LGBTQ victories like the Obama-assisted nationalization of homosexual “marriage” become normalized and accepted.    5. We are not afraid to hold accountable Republicans and conservatives who sell out God’s truth against homosexuality–or who cop out of this noble cause. AFTAH rejects the current Republican/Fox News/libertarian (“conservative-lite”) strategy of backing “gay conservatives” against homosexual liberals–it trivializes moral truth and readily capitulates to LGBTQ activist goals, having already contributed to rising support among Republicans for “gay marriage.”

A Year of Social Media Censorship and Harassment – Even a Frivolous FBI Visit Caused by a Lying ‘Gay’ Activist – for AFTAH in 2018

Using the FBI to Harass AFTAH: Adam Flanders, a homosexual activist and convicted sex offender, “reported” AFTAH’s president Peter LaBarbera to the FBI, leading to an October visit by an FBI agent to LaBarbera’s home. Flanders used the absurd and deceitful pretext that LaBarbera might harass or threaten him at his home in California. The agent told LaBarbera that he presumed the complaint was frivolous. We are coming to the end of another momentous year, and it has  been a strange, sad and yet hopeful one for me. Four people whom I loved went on to be with the Lord Jesus this year: my father, Pat LaBarbera; my best friend Brian Fitzpatrick (shown below at an Americans For Truth rally); and AFTAH benefactors Peter Huizenga and Ray Young–two of the finest Christian men God has given me the pleasure of knowing.

The Christ of Christ-mas was, in the final analysis, their hope. He is mine, too, and I hope He is yours. My dad–who was a great husband to my mom and father to me, my four sisters and my younger brother Jimmy–humbled himself and accepted Jesus as Savior very late in life. For that I will be eternally grateful.

My friend Brian, once an atheist, was born again in the Lord (John 3) on May 24, 1987 (he put that date on his license plate), and lived for Him from that point onward. Please share his Christian testimony in this blessed holy season. I will miss him but we’ll meet again!

Ray Young and Peter Huizenga were faithful Christian family men and  businessmen who put Christ first and never once even considered backing away from biblical Truth, in an age when so many find a way to do just that.

In their honor but more in God’s honor, we at Americans For Truth press forward with our noble yet politically incorrect mission. This has been a very interesting year: AFTAH became a microcosm of the Left’s evil and homo-fascist “social media censorship” strategy designed to suffocate social conservatives in the Public Square. Heck, we even got a visit by the FBI! … read on:

• Our Americans For Truth Facebook page was “unpublished” and then “erased” after leftist complaints. 
• My personal Facebook page has twice been put on 30-day hold after a frivolous “hate violation.” (I’m currently still in FB “jail” but I will be “set free” Monday–oh boy, thanks Mark Zuckerberg!)
• My Twitter page was blocked based on an absurd “hate” warning about a post showing a nasty, anal-sex-promoting “gay” activist giving his critics the finger.

• AFTAH’s website was taken down for two weeks following a frivolous and deceitful complaint by “gay” activist and convicted sex offender Adam Flanders (shown at upper right).

• Wasting the FBI’s Time & Resources: Flanders later complained to the FBI and they actually sent an agent to my home on Oct. 26!  The agent asked if I planned to harass or threaten Flanders in California. I said of course not, and alerted him to Flanders’ history of harassing conservatives with false “stalking” charges. The agent knew that the complaint was meritless but said the Bureau was obligated to check it out. The litigious Flanders is now threatening to sue me (and other social conservatives).

Despite all this, we at Americans For Truth keep on doing exactly what the LGBTQueer Lobby is trying to stop us from doing: speaking out in the media against a nefarious and revolutionary sexual agenda that threatens to silence Christian conservative speech even as it corrupts the hearts and minds of young children.

We’ll never quit, because the LGBTQ Lobby never quits, and because it’s God’s Truth, not ours. I echo what my friend the late Peter Huizenga told me, “I will never give up on God’s Truth.” I am not intimidated by this Sin Movement, which must be resisted aggressively, even as its errant followers need the love and forgiveness of Jesus. (AFTAH from its inception has boldly defended EX-“gays” like my brother in Christ, Stephen Black.)

Here is the AFTAH media page link, which contains only a portion of our many media appearances this year. Americans For Truth reached hundreds of thousands of people in 2018 — citizens hungry for someone to give it to them “straight,” unapologetically, about Big LGBTQueer.

These days, even many “conservatives” are afraid to oppose homosexuality–and the Republicans have nearly abandoned this crucial moral issue. But not AFTAH.

Folks, I can’t find the words to express my dismay at this, the latest cultural atrocity emanating from the immoral LGBTQueer movement. Our friend Dr. Michael Brown focuses below on the lack of “gay” activist criticism of the shocking spectacle of “Desmond Is Amazing,” aka Desmond Napoles. In future posts we will hone in on other disturbing factors, including:

1) the media’s activist role in uncritically ushering in ALL aspects of the gay/bi/trans agenda, no matter how radical, even sexualizing and corrupting young children; and

2) the role of “progressive” parents/enablers, including those in homosexual-led households, in foisting adult immoralities on the children in their care.

This poor boy is being abused and exploited by his own mom, in addition to countless other sexual “progressives.” Today’s liberalism is bad for kids because it seemingly has no moral boundaries.

America is becoming a very dark place, as large segments of our society collectively give God the finger, as it were. This is what a post-Christian society looks like after 50 years of “gay” revolution. (Next year is the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall riots in New York City that birthed modern homosexual activist radicalism.)

‘Gay Rights’ Over Religious Freedom? Radical lesbian activist and EEOC Commissioner Chai Feldblum (first nominated by Obama) was curiously reappointed to the federal agency by President Trump last year. We applaud Senator Mike Lee (R-Utah) for putting a hold in the Senate on leftist lesbian legal activist Chai Feldblum, whom President Donald Trump foolishly reappointed to the federal EEOC (Equal Employment Opportunity Commission) last December. AFTAH has followed Feldblum (an atheist) for many years and fought her back in 2009 when she was first appointed to the EEOC by Obama. By the way, she petulantly blocks me on Twitter, indicating her lack of impartiality and strong activist bias.

Feldblum argues that the battle between “gay rights” and religious liberties is a “zero-sum game” and that LGBTQ legal activists should and invariably will win those fights. I don’t know what Trump was thinking when he reappointed her. After all, he ran for office pledging to his base of evangelical Christian voters that he would ardently defend religious freedom. And “LGBTQ rights” is the Number One threat to freedom of conscience in America today. How about draining that Obama LGBTQ swamp, Mr. President?

A Threat to Marriage from the EEOC

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission may seem like an unlikely threat to religious liberty and the institution of marriage. After all, the federal agency was created to combat workplace discrimination by the Civil Rights Act of 1964. But sadly, the agency created to fight discrimination now threatens to discriminate itself; one nominee to the commission’s five-member board wants to use the federal agency’s power to undermine our nation’s founding principles.

Chai Feldblum was first nominated to the EEOC by President Barack Obama in 2009, but she was not confirmed by the Senate. In March 2010, President Obama skirted the Senate by seating Feldblum on the commission when Congress was in recess. The Senate ultimately confirmed Feldblum on a 54-41 vote during a lame-duck session in December of that year. Only two Republicans voted for Feldblum’s confirmation.
