We received an e-mail about yesterday’s piece on the first-ever homosexual band in the Inaugural Parade from Alonzo, a homosexual advocate who — although passionate about his beliefs — always remains civil.
By the way, and for the record, AFTAH does not allow comments to be posted on our website precisely because of the sheer viciousness, vulgarity and ad hominem, hate-filled attacks that characterize so many messages against us from pro-homosexual activists. Responding to the lies and smears would take all of our time. Uncivil homosexual activists would love that.
Porno Pete?
As veteran AFTAH readers know, one of the favorite, ongoing “queer” lies against me is that I am a secret homosexual or, worse, a covert aficionado of (unspeakably evil and revolting) homosexual S&M and pornography. Hence the nasty slam against me concocted by homosexual spinmeister Wayne Besen: “Porno Pete.” (I suppose if you use the logic of ‘Wayne’s World,’ someone who exposes abortionists secretly yearns to slaughter innocents in the womb — and Wayne himself, who monitors and exposes allegedly fraudulent “ex-gays” through his comically named Truth Wins Out — is a closeted fundamentalist Christian who TiVos every episode of “The 700 Club” while pretending to fight for Queer Liberation.)
Yep, aside from the murderous Islamic jihadists, it seems nobody hates (or lies) like the Left, and nobody on the Left hates like the homosexual militants. If you doubt me on this, take a detour into Loony Liberal Land for a few minutes and read the comments responding to one of Besen’s attacks on me and Americans For Truth. In another piece, mean-spirited even by Besen-esque standards, the Professional Homosexual Agitator (PHA) goes after ex-homosexual Greg Quinlan for getting divorced — exploiting Quinlan’s family tragedy without knowing the facts of the situation, his personal hatred for Greg oozing from sentence after sentence.

Transgender Twirlers? Homosexual Band to March in Obama’s Inaugural Parade

Tranny Twirler? We can’t say for certain, but that appears to be a Transvestite Twirler tossing his baton and wearing a covered bikini — in video footage on the Lesbian and Gay Band Association website. Barack Obama will be the first President to have a homosexual band march in his Inaugural Parade (the aberrant-sex band played for President Clinton, but did not march). And we’re also pretty confident that this will be the first band ever to march in both an Inaugural Parade and a parade for the debauched “Southern Decadence” homosexual festival in New Orleans — which in past years has seen men engaging in sex acts on the streets.

Bob oh boy! A band created by the Lesbian and Gay Band Association — built around men and women who share disordered sexuality and, for some, gender confusion — is marching in Barack Obama’s inaugural parade — the first ever “gay” Inaugural marching band! What a civil rights achievement — the Democrats should be so proud. Despite the enormity of this “progressive” milestone, apparently it is only somewhat of a technical “first”: the Aberrant Sex Band played twice for Bill Clinton but reportedly never marched for the … Aberrant Sex President.
In a statement, President-elect Obama said, “”I am honored to invite these talented groups and individuals to participate in the Inaugural Parade … These organizations embody the best of our nation’s history, diversity, and commitment to service. Vice President-elect (Joe) Biden and I are proud to have them join us in the parade.”
Questions: what deserving, hard-working high school band from Anytown, USA was bumped out by the homosexual marchers in the intense competition to march in the Inaugural Parade? We’re also wondering: do the bisexual LGBT band members get to march in any direction they want? (Sorry, couldn’t resist.)

Homosexuality — The Evangelical Temptation
December 16th, 2008Cizik, Jones, Campolo represent troubling trend away from Biblical worldview
“Emergent” Christianity leader Tony Jones says “biblical Christianity” and the Church can bless homosexual relationships.
We’ve pulled some excerpts from the excellent article below by Peter Jones of truthXchange — which could not be more timely given that some prominent evangelicals are straying from a Biblical worldview on homosexuality. Consider these examples:
- Richard Cizik — who recently resigned from the National Association of Evangelicals after causing widespread outrage for embracing homosexual “civil unions”; click HERE for a defense of Cizik by the Bible-twisting, homosexual lobby group Human Rights Campaign, whose own Harry Knox refers to homosexual bonds as “our most sacred loving relationships”;
- “Emergent”Christianity leader Peter Jones supporting homosexual monogamy as “biblical” and worthy of church blessing (see below); and
- Homosexual-“marriage” advocate Peggy Campolo, who justifies her anti-Biblical campaign on behalf of homosexual relationships using justice rhetoric (Peggy’s husband Tony supports “civil unions”).
Obviously, liberal cultural pressures and proud, vocal “gay” activism are leading people who should know better to defect, as it were, in the “culture war” over homosexuality. We presume that each of the above would deny that characterization, but their compromises with homosexualist ideology invariably require negating clear Scriptural prohibitions against the sin of (changeable) homosexual practice.

Savage, who adopted a baby boy several years ago, sounded positively responsible and caring recently on CNN and the Michael Medved Show — but somehow his defense of his two separate “three-ways” with his homosexual “husband” Terry never came up.
Savage has already responded to CWA’s posting of this online interview on his blog, where he congratulates himself for encouraging straight couples to inject a little nonmonogamy into their marriages, too. You see, by helping to strike down that last vestige of puritanical extremism — “unrealistic expectations about lifelong fidelity” — Dan is doing his part to “save marriages, and protect our children.” What a guy. Yep, if only more American men and women could learn to loosen up a little on their preoccupation with their spouse’s faithfulness, marriages would be saved and divorces would plummet!
I can picture Philandering Phil — fresh from reading a “Savage Love” column — explaining his latest tryst to his wife: “But Peggy, I did it for the children. You want us to stay together, don’t you? Then I need a little outside sex if this marriage is going to survive. Work with me on this!”
Poor city-dwellers. I guess this brand of post-modern drivel is what you should expect when you get your sex advice from a homosexual activist with a massive chip on his shoulder against the Christian sexual ethic. Folks, needless to say, when Newsweek religion “reporter” Lisa Miller penned her ultra-biased, sophomoric cover story — or should I say “cover screed” — claiming that the Bible supports homosexual “marriage, she did not contact Pittsburgh Theological Seminary Professor Robert Gagnon — probably the world’s foremost scholarly authority on the Bible and homosexuality. Doing so would have threatened Miller’s subversive, and very “queer,” thesis: that “Scripture gives us no good reason why gays and lesbians should not be … married — and a number of excellent reasons why they should.”
Prof. Gagnon has written a very thorough refutation of Newsweek’s and Miller’s arrogant assault on God’s Word. - Did Jesus Christ really have nothing to say against homosexuality (and hence “same-sex marriage”)?
- Does the Bible proscribe lesbian sex and relationships?
- Are Old Testament condemnations of homosexual acts (e.g., Leviticus 18:22, aptly describing sex between men as “detestable”) mere “throwaway lines in a peculiar text” — about as relevant as Old Testament rules for “hair cuts” and “cleanliness rituals for menstruating women,” as Miller writes?
- Since marriage has evolved since Bible times, why NOT let it evolve to include homosexual couples?
- Does the Bible’s call to reach out with compassion to social outcasts mandate condoning homosexual relationships?
- Miller’s assertion in favor of church-blessed homosexual “marriages”: “If we are all God’s children, made in his likeness and image, then to deny access to any sacrament based on sexuality is exactly the same thing as denying it based on skin color”?

Isn’t the “gay” activist movement obnoxious? Now they’re staying home from work and “calling in gay” to protest Prop 8. But wasn’t it just a short time ago when the homosexual lobby was moaning that all across America people could be fired “just because they’re gay”? Now they’re taunting their employers using their gayness. Gee, it looks like their jobs are pretty safe!
I wonder: if a few homosexuals were to get fired for pulling this “Call in Gay” stunt, would they sue for being “discriminated” against? (That was a rhetorical question.)
Yes, the homosexual activists wear us all out with the non-stop militancy. (I think they wear out some of the non-militant homosexuals, too.) Enough already. I don’t think self-styled “queers” will stop agitating until every day of the year is devoted to some sort of belly-aching that aims to normalize that which is aberrant and sinful. Of course, like the pro-abortion-on-demand crowd, their ability to agitate has zero bearing on right vs. wrong.
Shame on us Christians?
Once again we return to the irritating “shame-reversal” that characterizes Brave New Secular America, where the sinners (or we’ll call them the Sin Advocates) — you know, the ones who in saner times would feel remorse before a holy God — do the “preaching” — while those of us who defend Biblical tradition, normalcy, etc., are supposed to feel guilty (and many do!). Here’s the truth: if marriage is a wonderful institution created by God, and homosexual practice is always sinful (see www.robgagnon.net), what does that make homosexual “marriage”? Right: a very confused and rebellious attempt to legitimate wrongdoing using state power.

AFA Takes on Newsweek’s Shameful Distortion of the Bible to Shill for Homosexual ‘Marriage’

At right is a Newsweek graphic for its new, scandalous hit piece in support of homosexual “marriage.” It appears the magazine’s Religion Editor, Lisa Miller, is now a theological expert — declaring that — contrary to 2,000 years of Church history — the Word of God actually supports homosexual “love” and thus same-sex “marriages.” Albert Mohler takes Miller’s piece apart HERE. Readers might also check out Professor Rob Gagnon’s website to learn what the Bible really says about homosexual practice.
American liberal media bias is out of control. Somebody get Newsweek’s religion editor, Lisa Miller, a job with the “gay christian” (small “c”) activist group Soulforce, where she belongs. Kudos to Albert Mohler for refuting her nonsense. And once again, American Family Association (AFA) provides a valuable service by helping Americans confront liberal media bias — in this case, Miller’s embarrassing attempt t0 make a Biblical case for sodomy-based “marriage.” — Peter LaBarbera

Hollywood Humbugs Mock Jesus and Prop 8 Voters Just in Time for Christmas
December 8th, 2008Don’t look for the video mocking Muhammed and marriage any time soon
Gosh, I think Jesus Christ might be reconsidering his endorsement of the divine institution of marriage now that actor Jack Black (playing Jesus in the blasphemous video below) thinks it’s wrong to prevent two guys from getting hitched. I mean, after all, Black is the star of “School of Rock”; what greater cultural authority do we need than that? (Oh, I forgot: Ellen DeGeneres is also mad at Prop 8 — well that settles it: God is wrong!)
Here we have anti-religious bigotry and Hollywood snobbery at its worst. There are a lot of things funnier than this video, but one of them is the idea that a bunch of spoiled Hollywood actors have any moral authority on right vs. wrong, Christian truth, marriage, etc. Note how money (alleged “gay” tourist $$$ for homosexual “weddings”) tops transcendent morality in the video.
